Spectrum needs to get out of the brick and mortar business. Skip the drive, long waits and no inventory. Online ordering and support is the way to go. I'm a long time fan of Spectrum, but it's gotta lose the stores.

I normally dont write many reviews, but my experience here was beyond awful. I spoke with Jocelyn p. About a month ago about switching my phones to spectrum. I was given a paper to get info and was told the process would take about 25 minutes if I had this ready when I arrived. Today I made the appt and had my sons meet me as we was going to transfer 3 lines. It started smoothly or so I thought. Once she entered info into her system she started the process to port the 1st line which was mine. The phone locked and would not allow the transfer, but att had already released the number to spectrum. After about 45 minutes from that point my son went online and saw this has happened Ed to others as the do not pay off your phone, but the phone must be paid off prior to att unlocking it to allow the phone to be used. No one there had told me or mentioned this prior or today during the visit. Then I told them never mind. I called att but at this point we had to have a transfer pin number for me to be able to activate my phone. It took the another 30 minutes to accomplish this. At this time I was very aggravated. I had been there over 2 hours and my phone is essentially a paper weight. I spoke with the assistant manager and asked if I could be somehow compensated for the wasted time, maybe a credit or something with my internet. He shut me down saying there is nothing he could do. I did slightly raise my voice asking why would they not have mentioned any of this prior to me even. Coming in and he almost yelled and asked me to leave. O top of it all it was now up to me to call att and get the phone reactivated which was another hour, so in total this cost me 4 hours of my life because they didnt tell me the information up front

My visit, which was simply for a new phone purchase, took an unacceptable two hours to complete due to a severe lack of efficiency by the rep who was helping me her name is Alivia T.
After discussing promotions, Alivia stated she needed to consult her manager. She went to the back and returned approximately 20 minutes later only to give me the exact same promotion details she had stated before leaving. This consultation wasted a substantial amount of time without providing any new information. After that when we got to the phones and I selected the phone, Alivia went to the back to retrieve the device and was gone for another approximately 20 minutes. Like hello where did you go to get the phone from. Waiting two hours for a standard phone purchase is unreasonable, after waiting in the store for hours to be seen in the first place. She needs some kind of training and should know what conversations are work appropriate and not.

I had the pleasure of working with Jocelyn, who was incredibly nice and helpful. She went above and beyond to answer all my questions about my bill. She thoroughly explained everything and made sure I fully understood the situation. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but they can be quite busy, so I highly recommend making an appointment. Additionally, the management is always on the floor, actively engaging with customers and providing assistance whenever needed.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Sam at Spectrum, and I highly recommend them! I visited their store because my internet connection was not working. Sam was incredibly helpful and efficiently fixed my internet issue. Additionally, he offered me a fantastic promotion for my mobile plan. Sam is a genuinely nice and helpful person, and I definitely recommend waiting to get assistance from their representatives. Although he often got distracted by other reps, I believe that’s because he’s the manager. Overall, I had a great experience and love everyone who is working there.
