Trying out a new hair stylist is always nerve wracking, but I am SO unbelievably happy with how my hair turned out. I was recommended April Howard through a friend and I can't explain how much I love my hair! I scheduled an appointment for a cut and eyebrow wax. My hair is quite thick, so I booked the last appointment in the day that way we wouldn't be pressed for time. In addition to being thick, my hair is textured and every hairdresser I've been to has never styled it in a way that suits it. It usually ends up poofy or doesn't frame my face quite right. April thinned and styled it so beautifully!! She used products that smoothed, softened, and protected my hair from heat. (That may seem like common sense, but that has not been the case in the past!) She even gave me tips on how to style my hair at home and recommended products. She also waxed my eyebrows for the very first time and they came out so clean and polished! They're not overdone or too thin. They look natural. I can't stop saying how obsessed I am with everything! We chatted it up and had a great time. We even did a little photo shoot with a ring light at the end! All in all, I spent about 2 hours there, which is probably more than normal since we talked a bunch! I am extremely pleased with the quality of care I received for the price I paid. I will certainly be returning.

This is a really cool place. If you haven't been, basically hairstylists rent a room and have their own mini salon. It's really cool to walk around the building and see all the different stylists and their unique salons. There's plenty of parking, and the building is very clean. They have seating in the hallways so you can wait for your appointment. My stylist is Emily Fisher, and she is incredible! She has such great attention to detail and is very knowledgeable about different products and services. At some point I am going to see what other small business owners are in the building. I believe there are some folks offering other services such as eyebrow wax, nails, etc.

I only go to Sola Salon Studio #1, to see Kassy Ross. She’s absolutely amazing at her craft, and I’ve been going to her for almost 20 years! I’ve also recommended her to my entire family and some friends. She’s the best! And the studio is always well maintained, clean, and amazing.

Love this set up! Love my stylist, Olivia!! She can really cut and style some hair!! Olivia has been cutting me and my wife's hair for about 2 years. Sola Salon is a set of privately owned studios all under one roof. They are all separate rooms that are decorated and arranged by preference of the studio owner/operator. Olivia's salon is very classy and has a very comfortable leather couch, flat screen and a killer sound system... which makes it bearable to wait for your wife to get her hair done.? Highly recommend you get your hair cut, styled and colored (if you chose) by Olivia!!
