An amazing place to get suits. My dad and I have been coming here for years and they always treat you right. I took my groomsman of my wedding there and they fitted 7 guys for brand new suits. Unbelievable prices, amazing quality, stylish, and classy. Highly recommend

Gotta give in to my guys at Sofyano they did me right for my 21st birthday hook me up great deal and also allowed me to wear a personal piece for free to complete my outfit that's nothing but love and trust right there couldn't ask for a better job done I'll definitely be back soon

This place is amazing, I only dealt with J. Abdul Sherif, Jr.. He opened the store when it was supposed to be closed and let me pick up my suit. The most accommodating person ever! Found me shoes made in Italy in my size, that are amazing! 5 stars isn't enough. AMAZING! BRAVO. I'll never go anywhere else!!!!!!

Punctuality and attention to detail was poor. Suits are not made to measure and as such, did not fit properly. When I asked for a specific change to a shirt, I was told "I can have it look right, or feel/fit the way I wanted (which was the right way; similar to how my MTM suits from Indochino come), not both."I had to come back to the shop a few times, and one of those times I arrived at the agreed upon time only to be stood up. A button popped off my jacket EARLY during the wedding. A true testament to the quality.Poor service. Poor quality. Poor fit. Go elsewhere and get MTM.

The quality of clothes is actually very good. The customer service doesn’t match the clothing. I tried to get a wedding suit here and gave Abdul a timeline of 4 weeks. Ten days past the deadline, I asked three times for an update and kept hearing “I’ll check on it.” I had to purchase another suit because of the uncertainty and they don’t take any returns or refunds. Not even a discussion about how to remedy their poor service that made me spend extra. Missing a deadline for a business suit is one thing, but for a wedding and not communicating, it’s unacceptable.There are plenty of other stores with quality clothes who actually value their customers. Only giving two stars because the clothing quality is good. Overall just a sub par experience for the price.

I wanted to support a small local shop, but I also didn't want to spend a king's ransom on a suit that I'll only wear very occasionally. I saw on the website that they had some cool looking ones for about $300. So I went downtown and went to the store and right off I was clear, but polite, with the guy. I wanted a $300 suit, not one of the $700 ones I saw all around me. "We don't have any $300 suits," he said, not very warmly. I told him that there were such suits on the website. "The website's out-of-date," he replied. No apologies. No promise to update it. I just felt a little scorn for my unwillingness to spend on a suit an amount that could almost buy a plane ticket around the world. It's been a week and I see that the $299 suits are still on the website. Where I come from, we refer to such business practices, as "bait and switch," or "shady." Not sure why they'd expect people to trust them.

I came here for a wedding suit and gave them 4 weeks to tailor. Abdul kept telling me he would "check on it." After six weeks from my order and my wedding approaching I had to get another suit due to the uncertainty. For a business suit it's one thing but missing deadlines and not communicating for a wedding suit is unacceptable. There are plenty of shops with quality clothing. I wouldn't trust Abdul to help with a suit again. The entire experience was very disappointing.

I needed a new suit on short notice and Abdul assured me he could tailor the suit in less than a week. He was very friendly and helpful with picking out the suit and there was a good selection. I picked up the suit today right on time and it was fitted perfectly with the slim modern style I was looking for. I’m very happy with the suit so far and it appears to be good quality - 100% wool Made in Italy, and for a reasonable price. The other selection of sport coats were also beautiful so I’ll definitely be back again!

Best suit store in Columbus. Customer care is outstanding. Be prepared to learn about suits and style when you enter Sofyano. When it comes to suits, the selection is fantastic and the value beats major retail chains. I go here every time I need a suit.

My overall experience was okay, maybe good at best.The day I went for my appointment and made the purchase, Abdul put pins in my pants and jacket to note the alterations I would need. I was told 6 weeks later my suit would be ready. Great.6 weeks later I show up to pick up my suit. Pants are slightly tight but still wearable. Jacket sleeves were still too short. Matter of fact, they didn't alter the jacket at all. Smh.Tell me: what was the point of the first appointment and waiting 6 weeks if only 1/2 alterations were going to be made? It's funny, because I noticed in the first appointment Abdul did not take down any written notes. I literally told my wife I wondered how he would remember what all needed to be done. Well, long behold everything did not get done and I would have to come back a third time.In that second trip, Sam was there, and we found a larger jacket that could be altered to my fit. It wasn't the same jacket as what I paid for and what was in the first appointment, but whatever, it'll do.THIRD and final trip, I pick up my suit. The jacket alteration was good, not great, but good.I heard positive things about Sofyano, so I decided to give them a shot. My main thing is I didn't appreciate paying for a suit and making arrangements to get it altered, only to find after 6 weeks that the work wasn't done because they didn't do their diligence on the front end. It's not like they didn't lengthen it enough - they didn't lengthen it at ALL. Waste of everyone's time. These are the little things that people remember.

This place isn't what it used to be. It's sad, as I really like supporting the small, local shops. Read the latest reviews and you'll see their reputation is declining on Yelp.I purchased a $800 suit for my wedding and I had them line up some alterations to make it fit a little better. My suit was due to arrive on 2/12 (which they claim it did). Well, it's 3/8 and I'm STILL trying to get my suit picked up. Some days they are open, some days they are closed. Some days appointments only, some days nothing. I have even just randomly showed up when they are supposed to be open and it's closed. I even tried to make an appointment and was told they’d call me back and never did! So, I called them and told them I needed to pick up my suit and schedule an appointment and was denied!!! Since this is my 4th try at trying to pick up my suit, I finally just said, "you tell me when I can pick up my suit?" He said, "Saturday." I am now going to have to make a special trip downtown. So, I'm writing this review before I even get my suit. That should tell you how bad my experience has been.
