There are plenty of head shops in the Short North / South Campus area, but Smoke Zone is my preferred shop for a couple of reasons: the employees here actually know how all of the products work, unlike some other shops (I'm looking at you, Hippie Hut), and they have both good prices and a good selection. I also had a problem with a product I bought there once (manufacturer's defect, no fault of the shop), and when I went back, they took care of me with no hassle. Check them out.

I go in the smoke shop multiple times a week and spend money that I work hard for the first complaint I’ve ever had. They sold me a cart that leaked completely all over $600 dresser. The guy acknowledged that it leaked out and instead of replacing my item, he offered me a discount for defective product that he sold me and ruined my property. Here’s what it looks like do not go there. They are scam artist.

First time at this location. Bought a bong but the pipe came broken. Called ahead to swap pipes out since mine came broken but the owner still made me pay for a second pipe. It kind of through me off since it came tampered with.

EVERYTHING I have bought from here has broken. They are NOT interested in helping with broken products or making it right in any way. Their draconian return policy is set up so they are free to scam you. Even when it seems like a perfect good product it will break within a month and you’ll be SOL. Go to literally any other smoke shop before smoke zone!!!!

A big thank you to the gentleman at the store today. CBD flower I purchased earlier in the day was quite crispy and burnt incredibly hot upon initial smoke session. It was my fault for not double checking the "enjoy by" date (Oct, 2024). However, they made things right for me and got me 3.5g's of a flower with a february, 2024 date and the difference is absolutely night and day. This flower is delicious and FRESH.Through the years they have always been kind and given great service. Today cemented me even more as a customer. I despise ever returning a product, but today I absolutely had to. They made it right. They could've EASILY rejected me seeing as though it is a niche market (CBD). Im grateful. Hats off for top notch cust svc.Thank you!

I didn't even buy anything here. They unfortunately didn't have the very specific thing I was looking for, but they knew a shop that did. A store recommending a competitor so that your day is just a fraction more smooth is something the world needs more of.
