I've bought quite a few pieces from Smartypants over the years and they always add that 'je ne sais quoi' to my look. Best place to find unique t-shirts, mens jackets, and accessories. The velvet blazer I purchased here always gets compliments.

My absolute favorite clothing store! Amazing selection of thoughtfully curated, well made, vintage clothing. The store stocks new inventory weekly and they carry beautiful pieces which span a variety of styles and decades. The owner is very warm and polite and always takes time to recommend items which specifically meet my taste/fit. I LOVE this store so much and look forward to my next time in!

This place is fantastic. Prices are super reasonable for the authenticity and quality. Pieces are unique, diverse, and well-curated -- both casual and formal wear are available, each with options spanning across decades. Service is always friendly and the underground space is great!

If you love vintage, Smartypants is a must visit. Wonderfully curated shop with special pieces for everyone. A lot of vintage stores are huge, and can be overwhelming, but this one is the perfect size to find that gem you didn’t know you were looking for. Owner, and staff are so friendly, and welcoming!

Justina, the proprietress of this fine raiment repository, will greet you with a smile and the friendliest “hello” upon entering through her pink door. Inside you will find a carefully curated collection of clothing and accessories. Highlights and special pieces are usually placed up high, behind the sales desk, and judging by what these usually are you can bet they were acquired from or consigned by folks with substantial levels of taste and aesthetic sensibilities. There may be other places with a larger space than she, but her prices are competitive and, as one can clearly see, the quality and consistency of her inventory is arguably unmatched in town. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit.

My ex wife justina, while crazy, knows about vintage clothing. While I would definitely not suggest a romantic relationship, her taste in style is unprecedented. The variety and selection are unmatched among stores. She has curated a selection for both collectors and novices alike. 5 stars for shopping 1 Star for marrying.

Best vintage shop in the Short North! Friendly shop owner, always greets you with a warm and welcoming smile. Very knowledgeable and is always willing to go above and beyond to meet your vintage needs. I have gotten so many cool and unique items from this shop. Great selection of vintage goods. I highly recommend. If you are visiting the Short North or Columbus you must check this place out!
