Just a heads up, they are unable to do "textured hair" and per Heather M., unsure what natural 4c hair is. Wouldn't know how to even shampoo or what to use to blow dry that type of hair. Wasn't trained on that. Don't get me wrong, she was friendly and tried to find someone who would be able to wash and blow dry my 9 year old daughter's hair. I just wanted to make sure that anyone else with naturally tightly coiled hair does not waste time trying to schedule at this location, at least without calling to find out if they are acquainted with your type of hair. This is the location in the complex with Buffalo Wild Wings, though I was told the Salon Lofts across the street didn't have anyone who could do "textured hair" as well.

I don’t recommend Heather at all. She gave me an uneven, choppy hair cut. I had really long hair & only wanted a trim, she started cutting layers & didn’t ask me if I wanted them at all. I keep finding random short pieces that were never there before. The back of my hair is at least 2 inches shorter than the front. She blow dryed my hair half way, then took my cape off & said she was done. No styling whatsoever for $50 plus tip. And I left with damp hair and an uneven haircut. Never again. Very uncommunicative about what she’s going to your hair.

I was disappointed with my hairstylist - I booked an appointment at the last minute. That was the upside. My favorite hairstylist was out of town. She gave me a blunt haircut.

This review is on Joe Camp/Smith at Salon Lofts in German Village. I needed a cut and color. My hair color is Strawberry Blonde, I just needed the color enhanced and the gray covered. I showed him a picture of a reddish/blonde color that I wanted, what I got was a brown color that is no where near the color I asked for. He was distracted with other things and I was not his focus. My appointment was at 6:30 and I was not seated until after 7pm. I told him that the color was too dark and not what I wanted. When I sent him a testimonial, he bashed me, called me names, said I bullied him. , he sent me a text calling me trash and advising that he was blocking me and not allowing me to post my testimony. He bashed me for not speaking up when I was in his loft, I advised him that It was too dark and not really what I wanted but it was ok. I didn't want to wait any longer than I had. His loft was messy, he didn't clean up any of the hair from his previous customers and used a towel that had already been out and used from previous customers.

am pretty disappointed and won’t be going here again. Went in for a full highlight and cut yesterday. My roots were left very yellow and I was told just to use some purple shampoo at home. I am tired of stylists saying to use purple to fix what they didn’t do correctly in the first place. Purple should be to maintain color not fix an initial bad job. Also this was done yesterday and she still left a huge root line? It does not look like I got my hair “professionally” done a day ago. So disappointed to spend this money and be left with a very sub par job.Service: Highlights
