This place is AMAZING. I can honestly say I have never had a BETTER shopping experience in my life. The associates were SOOOOO nice and I literally felt like I had known them my entire life. The prices are SOOOO good I literally got the cutest top ever for only $12. I am in love. Definitely going back again so soon. I am in love with this place.

Definitely a hidden gem of Short North! My friends and I walked in with zero expectations whatsoever and was shocked to find such a place! Half thrift store, half boutique-- specifically with a focus on upcycling vintage items to adhere more towards modern fashion. In my opinion, putting a fun little twist in "thrifting". The store is also very beautifully put together with plenty of aesthetic photo opportunities. Though I do admit that you will not find any clothing here for men, I will recommend anyone else looking to thrift a fun new addition to their wardrobe to check the place out!

I was so excited to write this review when I left the Royal Factory today. I had no idea that this gem was hiding in plain sight in the Short North, and now I know I'm going to be absolutely addicted to coming in. I was on the search for a pair of girls jean shorts for the summer music festivals I plan on attending, and I found the cutest pair of authentic vintage Levi's for $38! The price was outstanding for what the shorts were, and the fit was great. I am pretty small, so it was great to try in a pair of vintage shorts that fit so well on the waist, usually I find great washes that are too big. The racks are mostly women's clothes, but I noticed quite a few options that could be unisex. The owner cashed me out and told me that if something didn't fit quite well, he could have it tapered for a small fee as well, which I think is an awesome feature for when you find something cute that isn't the right size. They have two fitting rooms and a very cool photo booth area that looks like the set of a magazine photoshoot (pictured). It's a whole lot of fun to try on the clothes and use the set, which is complimentary. Above all, the owner is especially knowledgeable about sizing, the latest fashion trends and other places to try and find vintage clothes if you don't find what you need here. If you purchase something, you can also sign up for their rewards program: After 5 purchases, you get 25% off your next purchase. After getting an emailed receipt, I checked and also got a $5 coupon. I highly recommend stopping by!

Stumbled across this little Hidden gem this past weekend. Wonderful service and great prices. 2 floors of on trend & vintage products. You can even have a photo shoot $40 hr with a minimum of 2 hrs, so cool! We will definitely be going back!

As someone who loves unique, one of a kind type of clothing, I'm ALWAYS finding myself in this little boutique! They have a way of calling you into the store with their street signs and items they have up in their windows! So well done on that!! Some things to note, this shop is not for everyone and requires a bit of searching, but I guarantee you that anyone can find something special if they are willing to look for it! I recommend bringing a friend so you can really enjoy exploring this little gem! Upon entry, you will see an array of jewelry, sunglasses, and clothing. Somehow, I always find myself trying on the rings, but none of them seem to fit, or they just aren't my style. The clothing is somewhat similar. They have anything from jeweled denim to lacy dresses, to sequined jackets. I even fell in love with a cut up Mario t-shirt! Things to keep in mind... If it's winter, expect to be cold. Luckily the dressing rooms have a vent within them, this helps tremendously when trying on clothes, but the rest of the building is very cold. I kept my coat on the entire time and my hands were freezing by the time I left. This is the short north, so parking is going to be limited and meters. If you're lucky, you might find an unmetered spot on 5th! I've never felt welcomed by the staff. There is usually one person behind the counter and they usually say hello but very reluctantly and they seem very disinterested. For me, I wasn't bothered too much by this, mainly because I'm the type of person who enjoys being left alone while browsing through a boutique but keep that in mind if you're wanting advice or help from the staff. Overall, this is a fun stop if you're looking for a statement piece but be prepared to search and try on!
