Worst corporate apartment company that exists! Don’t move into any of their properties

Building apartments that look like Soviet style housing units that no one can afford and look ugly as hell. Taking over neighborhoods that shouldn't be in the area. And then they take political sides that no company should take.
What a disgraceful ran communist group

Ran by absolute slumlords. Don't respect the tenants or community, or the American flag.

I have a penchant for supporting local businesses and also freedom of speech. That said, when a company chooses to fly a GIANT political flag in place of the US flag, and do so NOT in front of their apartment properties but on a tiny spot of land in front of two others owned by a competitor--that’s is just WRONG on so many levels. Please consider supporting ANYONE else!! Thank You!!

I have lived with Preferred Living at multiple complexes and had only the most positive experiences! They treat their residents better than any other company I have ever seen.

Curate then sell or bait and switch, I go with the latter. Not a respectable company in my opinion. In response to your rebuttal, thank you for taking the time to respond . Secondly, my issue is not with the new management company, it’s with your company. You are costing me money. Your incentive now comes with a $62 dollar fee for each card transaction, which is inconvenient and unexpected. Also, some equipment has failed and I have to rely on the new company to fix the issue. I’m not anti business, but this could have been handled better and more transparently. Thank you, respectfully.

I moved into Luxe 23 in the summer of 2021, and Preferred Living made many promises about the building they could not fulfill, then sold the building to another management company. Before Preferred Living sold the building, the common areas were always disgusting, and my apartment was not very clean when I moved in. The management also ignored noise complaints. Worst of all, Preferred Living signed a long-term contract with American Power and Lights, a predatory metering company that price gouges residents on electricity costs. If you sign a lease with Preferred Living at any of their newer properties, expect them to sell the building and for promises to go unfulfilled.

Preferred living is the pinnacle of modern living and luxury. The company accommodates to the needs of their residents very well. I will forever be a loyal fan of the brand and will always choose preferred living.

Vendors beware. We have worked with Preferred as a cleaning vendor and pet waste vendor since November 2020 and I used to work in leasing for the company. We recently updated our pricing to be more in line with our market competition. We sent notice of this to all of our clients and Preferred did not want to accept the updated pricing of our turns due to our contract already being signed. We pulled our contract amicably for the remainder of 2022 until new bids are accepted in Fall/Winter.However, we are waiting on an overdue invoice to be paid that is past the Net 30 terms we both use. For reference, we normally receive their payment within 2 weeks of submitting an invoice. We believe this is due to retaliation for us pulling our contract.I've attached the rest of my complaint as screenshots because there is a character limit as well as the email sent to the business.

Little to no concern for the needs/wellbeing of the renters, but significant concern for maximizing profits.

We have an amazing floor plan and community thanks to Preferred Living and love where we live. From our experience, we are able to wake up to a comfortable and updated suite every day that we love living in. Our amenities are amazing - we enjoy spending time at the pool that’s open year round, billiards tables, and gym. Best of all is the sense of community that Preferred Living creates. The staff is welcoming and encourages everyone to get to know each other. Our resident events are fun and have allowed us to meet a lot of our neighbors. We have created lifelong friends that we now consider “family” all from our decision to Live Preferred.

I have lived at their Taylor House property for almost 6 months now. Aside from the upgraded units, management has been great! Everyone has been super helpful and accommodating, along with their maintenance team. They are quick to fix any time there is even a small issue. It's usually pretty quiet on my end of the building, which is great! I definitely recommend checking out a Preferred Living property. They are truly stunning!

I moved to Belmont House in the middle of a pandemic from PA via AR. I have to admit I was astonished to see younger residents. I reviewed all the reviews and can see that there are a mixture of feelings. My experience here has been a great adventure. I get most things taken care via the app.I love the maintenance guys. They always take the time to explain. They obviously have a lot of patience when it comes to the trash compactor. When I pass them in the hallway, they call me by my name. I never once felt like i was mistreated. A great group of people.I have to tell you about Ally. I tried to contact the owners but that is hard, down right difficult. My floor is currently going through construction. Ally worked with each person to get a plan together. I understand that those situations can be difficult to handle. I took it as an opportunity to see the other side of the complex. When I moved. I couldn't connect to internet. I couldn't figure out why another could connect and I couldn't. Typically you would be told to contact AT&T. Not Ally , she came to my apartment and work to resolve the issue. She worked until my issue was resolved. It was the best experience I had and not one I would soon forget.Thank you for hiring a great staff and leader.

Wish I could put 0 stars. I sublet an apartment at Taylor House and was charged $300 for carpet replacement and $630 for pet deposit+ fees after move out. I DID NOT HAVE A PET! But management claimed the stains on my carpet (which were from previous tenant) were pet stains and insisted I MUST pay for pet during the 8month I lived there in addition to the carpet damage even though I did not have one. Taylor House’s reason for why the stains were from pet was because of strong odors; however, when I lived there, I did not have any problems with odor in the room. Terrible company, terrible apartment management. EVERYONE PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!

The company do not care about your well being allthey care is money. Not mentioning the poor Quality of their apartments. No noise cancellations. Check the Google review of the belmont house, literally 1 star just cuz the noise.
