Some of the staff are rude and don't know what they're doing. The place has went down hill. The paper towels are missing from many cleaning stations, you have to tell them for replacement. They act as if you're bothering them and keeping them from texting on a cell phone. The bathrooms are nasty,black toilets to hide the filth. My husband and I have been harassed by a few particular girls when checking in. I have a pf black card that allows me to bring any guest. My only guest has been my husband for years, suddenly it's been a problem to give them my guest's phone number to check in. They tell us we have to have a guest card. One girl would not let us in, i had to tell her to get someone else to help just to get in. That girl just put in my husbands phone number and just like that , no problem. A select few are being nasty because I questioned them about a guest card. I have been going to this club many years and looking past the negatives because the membership is so cheap. I can no longer look past the few rude people when checking in. How does someone get a hold of the franchise owner of this particular club? Terrible management! Hire people that actually have people skills.

The gym is great and so are people who work there. My problem is that they replaced all the old TV's with new ones, but 5 of them are not on. I asked if they can put the NFL on or other games. these stations are the local ones. rumor has it that the upper management has done this and the staff can't do anything about it. Pretty sad for such a nice place that i enjoy going to. I'm tired od cooking shows, rehab houses and NASA channels.. .

Rude staff who don’t know their job clearly! Terrible management!We were interested in one month of membership for the time we are visiting family in Columbus. One of the staff suggested us that we can sign up for the black membership, use its guest pass benefits, and then cancel the membership the next day. They said this way we can use our membership for the rest of the month. We didn’t even know there was such an option, they suggested us to do so!We did the same thing as we were told, and canceled our membership the next day. Then two days later when we were trying to check in, we were told that our membership has been canceled and we can’t use the gym. And when we told them that we did what exactly what they suggested us to do, then suddenly 2 managers appeared to the front, and they kept saying we are no longer a member and we need to leave!They insisted all the staff know their jobs and didn’t even acknowledge that we did exactly what was offered to us! They didn’t even listen to us! They acted like we were making a scene, while insulting us in a very calm manner, making us look the bad people there!The staff at this Planet Fitness center provided misleading information about the membership, leading to confusion and inconvenience. And all the managers had to say was we were making a scene, we needed to leave and that their staff know their job!

Pretty terrible experience with the manager of this location today. I’ll reserve leaving her name here and instead save those details for my email to corporate. I’ve never had a bad experience here but after today… wow… unreal. Major training needed for some of this staff. I’ll share my experience with others in hopes that fewer potential customers visit this location.

I been coming to this gym for a while now and noticed few things that doesn’t go on right way. This gym is not like a real gym with real staffing. I rather spend my $30 somewhere else than coming to this gym! Hopefully planetfitness get to see this and improve their employees to work for the money they receive!

I highly recommend they hire professional people at this location. People with no experience to handle their customers frustration for the inconvenience they caused. I will not return to this location again! I am not blaming planet fitness for this but I blame the people who works here!!! Thanks PF!

The management and staffing level is way too low! Everything else is just too good except the people who works there. The management of this location needs serious attention! All they say is “GOOD BYE!!!” When it comes to the reality! What a joke!

A gym should not my freezing cold. I have all long sleeves and I’m freezing. I gym should be warm so you sweat more. It’s the same temperature as outside. Also, their meter on how busy it is, is never correct. Two marks for being super busy shouldn’t be like that.

Your basic Planet Fitness. Lots of mirror gazing, teenage stock brokers and money managers glued to market trends and critical financial moves by staring at their phones ? (or so I assume) More disinfectant spray and soggy wipe downs than the Chernobyl clean up.

Overnight shift staff are amazing, today was my first time in and Travis ( hopefully I remember the name correctly) allowed me to come in as his own guest for the day… the kindest people work this shift.

Facilities are fine, but management and some of the staff are rude. I've had very positive experiences with some of the staff, but the management talked down to me the entire time I was trying to change my membership plan. I understand they have company policies they can't work around and it's not their faults. I apologized for being difficult, but I made it clear to them from yhe start I was simply trying to avoid the least amount of payments because the rules around when you can change memberships and with the start up fees changing randomly without them knowing anything about it. When trying to have simple conversation with staff I was completely ignored by staff. There is miscommunication from staff as I've been able to get a membership through a staff member the first time, but the second time I was pushed away and when asked why I couldn't apply through a person and had to use the app, I was simply told I had to without any logical reasoning. I'll happily come and get my workout in cause it's planet fitness and it's the cheapest gym around. But the staff needs to do better.

A few weeks ago I went on a Saturday (first time I've been on Saturday) and was lifting free weights. Suddenly an extremely loud alarm starts going off a few feet away from me. Luckily I was resting because if I was mid set I probably would have dropped weights onto myself. The alarm was extremely loud and I even had ear buds in. It's louder than a fire alarm and non stop for like 45 seconds. There are no pauses it's literally like an air horn for 45 seconds. I thought something malfunctioned or there was a crisis. No one seemed panicked but I saw a few people head to the door. So I looked on my phone and saw that they closed at 7pm (which I was unaware of).It's completely fine to close at 7pm or whenever they choose it's their business but to blast an alarm to kick people out while they are lifting weights is dangerous, rude, and completely unnecessary. How hard would it be to take a minute or 2 to walk around and tell people you are closing? Or make a few announcements over the intercom?I don't know if that's standard procedure to ring the alarm at closing or if someone did it because they were lazy but it needs to stop. There is no need to hurd people out like sheep. We are human beings and know how to communicate. And that alarm is extremely loud especially when you are right next to it. Save the alarm for a crisis and take down the lunk signs. You're trying to promote inclusivity while being exclusive. It's a gym not a library. And the loudest people there are you guys ringing that alarm for no reason.Other than that I love this gym, it's always clean, it gets busy but there are always machines open. Staff is nice. Have never had a problem with anything other than an anxiety attack from an unnecessary alarm going on.

Would give it 0 stars if possible. I joined planet fitness and then immediately canceled when I found out my son was too young to join with me. Stan working there told me okay, he will take care of the cancellation and I won't be charged anything. Planet Fitness goes on to charge me $10 the first month and over $50 the second month (where did that amount come from?). I call and the manager Gabby confirms Stan was supposed to have me complete a paper cancellation form or complete it online with me. I advise he never did, there were people there to witness. The business finally responded to the BBB complaint, but only after I posted this google review, and they have refunded my money. Unfortunately, my experience was with incompetent, dishonest, and unprofessional employees.
