I worked with Petals & Leaves for my wedding flowers and I'm thrilled with how everything turned out! The bouquet I received was nearly identical to my inspiration photo and I couldn't believe how stunning it was. They were also super helpful with putting together the rest of my decorations for the wedding including table flowers and candles that paired perfectly with the theme. I would absolutely recommend Petals & Leaves!

Excellent wedding florist. My bouquet was so beautiful it brought me to tears. Highly recommend, especially if you are getting married at Scioto Reserve Country Club, as they have a unique floral install you can use for an indoor ceremony!

I was initially so excited to work with Petals & Leaves. Dee put together a beautiful proposal that incorporated the inspiration pictures I submitted. The proposal outlined all the flowers and colors that would be included in the various arrangements. While I was totally on board with 95% of the proposal, I pushed back on two flowers as I felt they had a boho-vibe that was not at all what I wanted. She did not remove the flowers from the proposal, nor did she offer alternative flowers that would accomplish the same design function. When I pushed back again and asked for alternatives, she just removed the flowers and did not offer any alternatives.Fast forward, Dee and I go through a round or two of tweaks as we get closer to the day. I was super appreciative of her willingness to make design changes when I changed my mind about how the altar would look. In these design meetings, I reiterated that I was nervous about the color of the flowers. I said that I wanted light pinks, oranges, and yellows - just like in the inspiration pictures, nothing too bright. She assured me she was on the same page.On the day of the wedding, the bridal party flowers were delivered. The bouquets were beautiful, but they did not look like the inspiration pictures we talked about. There were purple flowers featured very prominently in all of the bouquets. A member of the bridal party called Dee right away to see if anything could be done. Dee indicated that she didn't see any purple in the bouquets, but she did see lavender. She stated that lavender is in the pink family and this was simply a miscommunication, but it was too late to change anything. In nearly every unsolicited comment I have received about my flowers from friends and family, someone refers to my "purple flowers."Before the ceremony started, there were stems in my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere that wilted and needed to be cut out.The most frustrating part of the entire experience has been in the lack of communication following my wedding. Dee knew I was disappointed with my flowers and never reached out. Had she done so, I probably wouldn't be writing this review. Instead, I received a canned email saying they were "thrilled with how everything came together so beautifully" and asked if I would write a review.TL;DR - My flowers were pretty, but did not match the color scheme we discussed multiple times. Stems in the grooms' boutonniere and my bouquet wilted and flopped over before the ceremony even started.

Petals & Leaves did a fabulous job with our wedding this past September. We got so many compliments from guests on all of the bouquets and florals around the venue. They delivered exactly what was on the proposal, communicated effectively, and even threw in some hair florals after a last minute request!

PLEASE READ THE BAD REVIEWS for Petals & Leaves. I didn't and I regret it, because they all sound similar to my wedding. Also read the owner's responses, no accountability, no apology.I feel bad having to write a horrible review, but if flowers, décor & ambiance matter to you, do not fall for the few nice pictures & reviews. I cannot think of a single reason to recommend Petals & Leaves, this as a warning to brides. The short story, I did not get what was contracted or paid for and the owner did not even offer an apology. I'll explain the terrible vendor experience but if you're short on time, heed my warning and the others.A. We were supposed to have champagne colored curtains draped throughout our venue, we paid extra to have the venue early for this. When we first drove by the venue my stomach sank and for a split I almost cried. I told my husband "that's not our wedding venue"...we had hot pink/coral colored curtains. We were not having a pink wedding? Our colors were black, ivory, gold, dark greens. All of this was laid out on the proposal/contract that Petals & Leaves put together for us. I wanted a whimsical drape-y outdoor wedding. Aside from the color not being what was agreed on, there were zero drapes inside on the glass ceiling, we had paid thousands dollars to Petals & Leaves for this service + hundreds more to have the venue early and not a single drape was installed. I remember talking to the owner and saying how amazing her draping was and she was so excited to transform this space for us. The wedding reception I dreamed up and envisioned for over a year, did not exist. Our coordinator called the owner, Deb, during the reception and she said that the color wasn't available in time and she couldn't hire someone for the install? She told the coordinator that I picked this color, end of story. We stood outside our venue that we didn't even recognize and were told that I was responsible, and the rest couldn't be done. Hello? If you're still reading, I hope it's for entertainment, please do not sign your wedding away to Petals & Leaves.B. My bouquet could not have been further from what I asked for. I asked for no ferns and it was full of them?! It was poorly arranged, lopsided and awkward, completely filled with ferns, it was so ugly. I think it's so sad that someone didn't tell me to put it down sooner, it looks awful in our photos. I should have cut the ferns out myself or just thrown the bouquet away. At one point the florist said that ferns were an affordable filler, but never offered me another filler. Who said I was trying to save money? Affordable for the florist or the bride? I'd pay double for my bouquet not to ruin my wedding pictures.C. We were supposed to take the table arrangements home. It was pouring rain and guests forgot. They never held them for us or contacted us. It just seems like a general vendor courtesy when you spend thousands of dollars on something to see if the bride maybe wants them or see if they forgot, especially since it was downpouring.D. The boutonnieres were supposed to be “tucks of foliage” and they guys had entire flowers which isn't what we agreed on.After our wedding I did try to remedy our concerns and unhappiness with the owner, Deb. I was told that some changes had to be made and things didn’t work out and Petals & Leaves was losing money and a bunch of random excuses and woes of owning a business. No one communicated with us about any issues, we had zero idea that we were going to show up and things would not be as planned. The cost of having a business should not fall on your customers at their expense and happiness on their wedding day.In the end, Deb never apologized, she never took accountability for the fact that Petals & Leaves did not render contracted and paid services. My family wanted to use a lawyer but I felt that the business acumen and how Deb runs Petals & Leaves was very clear and we didn't want to have to deal with her ever

Petals & Leaves was fabulous to work with! They put together a beautiful contract proposal based on some inspiration photos I sent in and were able to bring my vision together perfectly. They created the floral arrangements for my event and added greenery to the welcome sign and photo backdrop arbor as well. Everything was stunning and the service was wonderful. I loved having the option of purchasing the vases with the arrangements because I was able to give them away as party favors! It was a such a neat touch! I would highly recommend Petals & Leaves for your next event!

Dee with Petals and Leaves was wonderful to work with! She was very professional and provided in-depth proposals so we would know exactly what they would be providing. Dee was very accommodating and helpful as we worked with her during Covid-19 restrictions. She was also receptive and helpful when we asked for changes on the proposals to stay within our budget. They have such a variety of florals and greenery to make our wedding bouquets and centerpieces unique. Our florals were absolutely beautiful and we loved how they turned out. We also had a spectacular circle arch as our backdrop to our ceremony at High Line Car House. We were blown away when we first walked into the venue and saw how beautiful everything was. Would highly recommend Dee, Petals and Leaves and their work.

I hired Petals & Leaves for my wedding last year. Horrible experience because the flower canapy fell down infront of all my guest; a chuppah. This was a disaster and this florist took no responsibility.

Our Snow White themed wedding was complimented so well by our flowers. I couldn't have asked for better! My vision came to life and people still talk about our wedding and the most beautiful flowers they've seen to this day!

The original appointment went fine. We had an issue when picking up the flowers. We were told a certain time on my daughter’s wedding morning. We had a family problem arise. My daughter received a call from Petals and Leaves and they were very rude. Not what a bride needs hours before she walks down the isle. My daughter lives an hour away so we sent another family member who arrived within 30 minutes with no one there. This was in the morning when they were supposed to be “open” according to their posted times. Some one finally showed up after banging on the door for a period of time. This was an expensive purchase to be treated like this on the wedding day.

They made my wedding day more stressful than needed. We then called after the wedding and the manager basically told us she didn’t care. I do NOT recommend this place.
