“Thank you for being such pawsome people! My dog always enjoys her time there. She doesn't get the luxury of going inside a lot of places. She loves the energy and the people and I totally agree with her! No matter which store we go to we are always greeted with such warmth and kindness. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They don't mind that my dog can sometimes be a bit jumpy. ( it's a work in progress). They really are not just salespeople, but pet people too! “The Dog Stop is the best, I love the facility and trust to leave my dogs in their care. The staff is great, and love the dogs as their own. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable making drop off and pick easy. Joe is amazing! The best groomer around and we have tried many. Joe takes the time to communicate with you to make sure you get the cut that you want and we have been happy every single time.”

“THIS STORE IS AWESOME, THANKS TO FAITH! When my original doordash driver lied and said my item was out of stock and she had asked an employee, Faith helped me by making sure the product was at the front of the store for the next driver so I could finish caulking the bathtub I already ripped apart. All of this happened an hour or so before closing on a Sunday and we need a working shower in 24 hours! Thank you Faith you rock!!!”

“I originally got the fence for my 1yr old hound mix and the level of service and training was far beyond anything I ever expected. I thought we would have them put in the wire and that was it not even close. They came out every week and stepped up the fence and the training as we went along. The whole process was seamless and my pup did great!Fast forward a year and we had another pup ready to learn. So we called Chip and signed up our Golden. Same care and patience was given and in no time he was trained on the fence.Anytime we have an issue or a concern they call us back quickly and if there are any issues with the fence they come out regardless of the day or time. I give them 100% for being a great local business.Forget Invisible Fence CO, heard horrible things, you need PetStop and you need Chip and Sandy.”

“I always have a great experience when I'm in this shop and find exactly what I need. I came in the day before my dogs day care was planning to take photos and needed a bandana. This was the only local store that had what I was looking for and the staff member was very helpful. I came back the next week and got her a new winter Sherpa that was on sale as well. What always brings me back is their seasonal toys, treats, and bandanas...they're just too cute!”
“It was a mixed bag...I had ordered a large aquarium online and just popped in to pick it up. The first associate I encountered told me "it should be on the shelf." Full stop. As though I should know where this shelf is and have no problem managing this 40 gallon tank myself.
But then another associate jumped right in, telling me to pull my car up and she would bring it out, which she did. She then proceeded to load it into my car for me while assuring me that if I had any issues I should come back for help troubleshooting, and reviewing the return policy. I didn't get her name, but she was great!!”

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of adopting our adorable 18-week-old Labrador Retriever from Petland Kingsdale in Upper Arlington, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Despite the stigma sometimes associated with adopting animals from traditional pet stores, we found the team at Petland Kingsdale to be outstanding, particularly Tammy, who went above and beyond to ensure a smooth adoption process.
Tammy's genuine love and concern for the animals in the store were evident from the moment we met her. She took the time to help us complete our adoption and even started training our puppy on essential commands like sit, stay, and roll over. Thanks to her efforts, our puppy is already walking beautifully on her lead. We highly recommend Petland Kingsdale and strongly suggest asking for Tammy – you won't be disappointed! The store itself is super clean, with ample puppy visit rooms and a thoughtful puppy welcome kit that made us feel well-prepared for our new addition. We also want to give a shout-out to Emery, who helped get our puppy ready to take home on the night of our adoption.
