I've been taking injured or orphaned wildlife to this center since I can remember. They are incredible and update you on the animals you bring in. Love that we have a center in Columbus like this!!

We’re so lucky to have the OWC in our community. I’ve messaged them many times about animals I’ve found and the volunteers are always responsive and helpful. I’ve taken animals to the hospital twice and I leave feeling relieved knowing they’re being well cared for. Thank you for everything you do!

A baby squirrel had fallen from the nest and the mother did not attempt to get it. We called the Wildlife Center and they told us what to do. At nightfall we put it in a box and brought it in. Thenext morning we took it there to be taken care of until it could go back into the wild. Thank the Lord for their concern for so many little ones or injured animals would suffer!!

Found a baby bunny that was a bit scratched up, took the guy here and they said they would care for him and give me updates and even a release date! They were amazing!

I highly recommend this place, a cat in the neighborhood was trying to kill baby bunnies and I happened to be pulling in my apartment at 10pm and I saw the kitty trying to harm the baby bunny, I got there at the right time, but I picked up the baby bunny and I gave ohio wildlife a call and I also sent a email and they got back to me right away, I didn't have to wait till in the morning, sent me a email telling me what I needed to do next. And then the next day I dropped off the bunny. They were very responsive which was great because I didn't want nothing bad happening with the bunny.

I write this review deeply saddened by the actions taken. I found some raccoon kits very Small and ill on the side of the road, near my house, my response was to take them here if the mother did not return. It was brought to my attention that they had euthanized these poor baby raccoons due to being malnourished and under weight, a typical response I was told from a volunteer. I do not know what they do with different species, yet with raccoon kits do not attempt to nurse them. If you are looking to take such a animal do your research first, or end up like me truly devastated.

I believe all life is sacred and this is the focus of the staff as well. I drove over 45 minutes to deliver a homeless sparrow chick, and I'd have driven several times that, just because of the HUGE hearts of the entire team! Bravo

So grateful for this place. We saw a horrible sight, a mother opossum who had been smashed in the road with her babies. One baby looked up from the middle of this horror. We stopped and got him into our car, with help from bystanders. We took him straight to this place. They said they had several babies his size. Although his littermates have been killed, he has a chance for a new life with these new friends. We wrote a check to the hospital for his care, and plan to donate regularly. Donations are vital to the Ohio Wildlife Center Hospital.

I made two separate trips in one day. In the morning I took a very sick Juvenile skunk and as soon as I got home there was a raccoon that was sick and acting confused. Unfortunately, they both had distemper and had to be euthanized, but they did it humanely with love and respect for the poor creatures. The staff was very caring and thoughtful. I have taken other wildlife there in the past with better outcomes. I love this place.

This place is awesome. I found an injured chipmunk with a broken leg. I called them up and they had me bring it in right away. They way they take care of animals is great. Need more places like this.
