It's more of a gift shop/gallery than a museum as nearly everything is available for sale. The museum features many talented artists throughout ohio within many different mediums of art.

Three stars because the gift shops were unique with local things as well as things from across America. There was no exhibit when we went in and the website didn’t state that they were between exhibits / that there wouldn’t be any.

This review is for the Holiday gift shop. The museum gift shop is open special hours for the holidays, and they kicked it all off today with a festive open house. They served refreshments and greeted all the shoppers with such a warm welcome. There are five different rooms filled with all kinds of artisan and locally made items. They had some beautiful jewelry, pottery and artwork, and lots of Christmas tree ornaments. I found some very unique gifts.

I visited the Ohio Craft Museum [at 1665 W. Fifth Ave. in the "Fifth by Northwest" neighborhood of Columbus] yesterday [8-22-2022] for possibly my first time.I have been familiar with Ohio Designer Craftsmen [the organization that operates the Ohio Craft Museum] for many years because I used to edit an "arts calendar" in central Ohio and am fairly certain that I had included Ohio Designer Craftsmen events in that calendar.Currently on display in the main room of the Ohio Craft Museum is a traveling exhibit [featuring artists from Pittsburgh], "Food Justice: Growing a Healthier Community Through Art."Photographs of the "Food Justice" exhibit are not allowed so you will need to visit the Ohio Craft Museum "in person" [before 9-24-2022] if you want to see that exhibit. Some of the elements of that exhibit are sounds that obviously cannot be transmitted via a photograph.During my brief visit to the Ohio Craft Museum, I had been able to take (1.) several photographs of the building itself and (2.) several photographs of artworks [some of which are for sale] that are on display in smaller rooms that are near the main room. Two of the people with whom I had spoken during my brief visit to the Ohio Craft Museum remember me from when I had worked for the former Long's Commercial Art Supply in the basement of the former Long's Book Store at 1836 N. High St.If you want to be able to view -- and possibly purchase -- artworks that have been created by artists from all over Ohio, I strongly recommend visiting the Ohio Craft Museum.

Such a nice place! It has various types of art pieces inside and even a gift shop. I’d recommend coming in and seeing the art. There’s no crowd and entrance is free!

This place is a little gem in the Grandview Heights area. It's not large, but always worth a stop--interesting, unique gifts from craftsmen and women from the region. It also has rotating exhibits that are noteworthy. The art and food justice display August-September 2022 is fascinating. I didn't know what to expect but suffice it to say that the art educated powerfully. Hard to believe admission is free. They also have excellent craft camps during the summer--my daughter went one year in sixth grade and enjoyed it.

This is a nice little place, but hard for me to call it a museum. There is only one room with an exhibit and three rooms of gift shops. A fun stop for a short time, but I wouldn't go way out of your way.

The craft market has a wide variety of high quality, hand made items. A good place to buy gifts.
