I absolutely adore Menards. I had always gone to the other Home Improvement stores until recently. I'm in the middle of a renovation project and have bought lots of different items from Menards, and it's a good thing because we have needed to exchange a few. The return process is super easy and fast! The return time is longer than the other stores too. And the 11% rebate will come in handy for the next project. I want to give a shout out to Dustin, Devin, and Fred for their awesome response to my garage door challenge.

So I moved the other day and bought a tarp from Menards that ended up ripping on the first use from Dayton to Columbus. I came to this location to see about a return at which I first didn’t have my receipt. The lady who was working returns was very nice but do to not having the receipt called for one of the managers because I simply wanted an exchange not a refund. The manager came up and I told him while driving that the wind caught the underside and ripped the tarp. He then stated that because I improperly secured the tarp that it was my fault and there is nothing he could do about it. Makes me kind of angry that he would make that statement when he has no idea how I secured my load. I had everything strapped down, it just so happened that the wind caught it right while driving and it shredded the back of the tarp. Maybe if the quality of the tarp was better this issue might have not have happened at all who knows. All I can say is that if an accident happens it is solely on you when it comes to this place. Also found the receipt and they would still not do the exchange

Menards is great. As a plumbing contractor it can be frustrating to not find everything you need in one store without having to make multiple trips. I have never run into this issue at Menards. Their plumbing section is one of the best I’ve seen in a big box store, they’ve always had everything I’ve needed and more. They also keep some stock items I can’t even find at my normal plumbing supplier/s without ordering it! If I’m actually saving big money or not may be in question but with the amount of help they have in each isle and station, the stock they carry, I know I’m going to find it at Menards and I’m happily willing to pay whatever the price just knowing it will be there when I need it. Big shout out to the men working the plumbing isle and a big shout out to Jennifer working the front register she’s always there with a friendly smile and makes the end of the shopping experience that much better. I’ll be continuing to shop here for my contractor and personal needs. this store hits what a big box store should be right on the nail. Your competitors have a lot to learn before they get on Menards level.

Don't buy things in Menards as they sell low quality goods. I bought an power recliner from them, first I found out a hole in the chair, and then after one month the power recliner doesn't work! So the chair is stuck in certain position and can not adjust any more even I try to manually adjust it. Stay away from Menards.

I walked inside like every other customer but for some reason I felt like I was being watched or followed every time I turned or look from lane to lane a lady with a security on back of her shirt she followed me the whole time I was very uncomfortable and I want to know why me ???? Is it because my hair was pulled up ? Because I have a big purse ? That was absolutely absurd!!! You should be ashamed of yourself then I left another security guard wanted to check my bag I said yes please look I have no desire to steal From you who doesn’t have a big purse these days if you have no reason I am not o. Camera stealing you looked thru my whole bag and followed a innocent woman I will never go back to that store ever again and you need to recheck your security guards and stop following customers for no reason I’m so mad !!!!!

Very burdensome pickup process on mulch. Walk to back of store to order, return to front to pay, drive to back to pick up, back inside to turn in paper, told to drive to mulch for loading. No one ever showed up after 10 min so finally loaded by self and was finally able to leave

Had an issue with customer service today. Called to talk with store manager...explained what happen and let him explain procedure. Mid sentence of my reply he hung up on me!! Sometimes customer service is valued much more than price. Word of mouth is also very good way to loose customers.

Don't buy from this place. I bought a power recliner and it stop function in one month! And the store ask me to return this big chair bymyself to the store... A company still run like 1970s and return policy is ridiculous.

Menards is AWESOME! EVERYTHING from tools to food! Best every day prices in comparison to HD & Lowe's. Great selection, helpful employees!
