Keith and Brad have been keeping me in the know for my fridge. With the new maintenance team, they resolved all of my issues and with the fridge problem, they're working with me currently on a solution as it's a special case.Coming from Easton and Dublin and Whitehall, I am happy to say that this has been the best apartment team I've had and one of the prettiest apartments.A couple of small cons - some of the tenants are lazy and had their animals do their business in the wrong spots. The leasing office made a statement and have been attempting to handle it, but a couple of cameras in those specific areas would be nice. And there is nearby construction. Been going on for months. It sucks honestly, but it's not the apartment team's fault.I plan on staying and perhaps upgrading to a 2 bedroom with my partner. One of your best options for downtown, especially near German Village.

Library Place Apartments chooses to keep this a on going problem. (if you operate in Ohio you gotta follow Ohio law)If any one wonder why there NEP bill is so high? This is why. This is a submeter problem. The practice of reselling public utility services has inflated some residential utility bills by as much as 40 percent, compared to customers who are billed directly by a public utility. In recent years, more and more landlords started contracting with submetering companies to provide to utility services their tenants. The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio recently ruled that submetering companies can no longer charge tenants exorbitant prices for gas, electricity and water services.

I have read some of the reviews on here and just wanted to leave my own. My husband and I have lived here for almost 5 years and have had a very different experience than what I am reading about. We did go through an extremely rough patch when only one person was working in the office, but they have changed management and this new management has drastically improved the building. The location of this apartment can’t be beat, we love living right next to a Kroger, less than a minute walk away, and close to many bars and restaurants. You’re also a close walk to the scioto mile. Our apartment has high ceilings, beautiful crown molding, and we have truly enjoyed living here for all these years. Some others have mentioned homeless people roaming (I have never seen/heard this), cars being broken into (we did have this happen once a few years ago, but my husband left his car unlocked, we have had no issues since then), & AC issues (we never had any AC issues). The surrounding area has always felt very safe and I walk my dogs around all the time. I would absolutely recommend living here, we are going to be sad when we go.

I moved into these apartments in late 2023, and have had a wonderful experience this far; friendly staff, great accommodations, free parking. I’ve moved around a lot and this is one of the best apartment complexes I’ve lived in.One Sunday, I came home after a long weekend trip to a bat in my bedroom. It’s winter time, and of course they’re trying to find a warm spot to hibernate. I call emergency service and they were able to get pest control out fairly quickly. Dionne (property manager) and her staff were very professional and very quick to respond. They followed up with me on the phone and in person the following days to make sure I was accommodated. This complex is definitely a great option if you are looking to live near downtown/german village and not pay crazy German Village prices.

If I could rate this apartment negative stars I would. I signed a year lease last November with a move in date of December 26th 2022. This move in date was also confirmed by a previous employee days before. When December 26th came and I drove two hours with a trailer to find there was no staff in the office. To make matters worse many other residents were telling us that they haven’t been there since the 23rd while pipes were frozen and multiple units were destroyed. Later I found out this was because the staff at this time was not fixing heat.Luckily a resident was kind enough to give me the code to the garage. My apartment door was unlocked so I was welcomed within my first hour of living in these “luxury apartments” to no staff, trash, the painters materials, a missing a freezer door handle, what appeared to me a pink mold stain on the granite kitchen counter and countless other issues within my unit. The following day I went to the office to show them and there was no apology from the property manager or staff. I did not have a freezer door handle, trim on cabinets, or a fully functioning shower/tub until March after I had to go to the office and call several times in after weeks of waiting in order to get my maintenance request done.To make all matters worse in October my car was totaled in an accident. Due to the accident being on a Sunday it had to be towed to my place of residence. My car was in a back lot for 2 weeks where there was a residence pass in the back window and was registered on my lease. For your knowledge there are several cars that are broken down and/or abandoned that have sat in the parking garage since before I lived here. When insurance came to get my car it was no longer there because a maintenance worked named Shay did not check if I had a resident pass, registration, call me, or put a tow warning sticker or my vehicle. He then proceeded to lie to the office staff when we were trying to figure out when my car was towed. To make matters worse towing was also not enforced at this time either and is still not enforced. When they did send an email saying it would be enforced I notified them of my car but it was too late and my car was wrongfully towed. The property manager admitted that my car should not have been towed and said the property owner was going to give me $100 towards the tow bill which was about $300 which I never received. I was not given an apology or anything for when they wrongfully towed my car. They tried it was incorrectly parked but when my car was placed in the lot there were no parking lines. The gate only works 60% of the time so you cannot even get into the parking garage sometimes. Also good luck finding a spot after 8:30pm. If you have visitors enter through the gate a staff member will harass them & ask if they live here and ask why they are here. Then proceed tell them “residents are not allowed to have visitors here” then tell them to park at the courthouse a mile away when there is a designated visitor lot. To make matters worse the office then sends an email saying they are IDing all residents when they enter the parking garage and if you forgot your ID that day you won’t be permitted in your unit that you pay thousands of dollars for! If I pay $1,200+ a month as an adult I am allowed to have visitors this is a “luxury apartment” not a prison or a college dorm.Overall, living here is the equivalent to burning money. You spend more money here with rent & the astronomical utilities than you would spend living in a nice and true luxury apartment. Also, the area has gone downhill since moving here not sure if that’s due to the construction but save yourself the headache and live somewhere else.

Once they have your money, the customer service, availability, and professionalism goes out the window. Perhaps its due to the change in management, but not answering phone calls and ignoring people when they are waiting for you in the office is unacceptable. It baffles me that there are so many 5 star reviews when the experiences of the tenants varies drastically. I would be cautious signing a lease here.

I spent a year at Liberty Place. It was the best you could do in the city for a fair price. I never had any issues with my air conditioner, like I see in a lot of comments. Phyllicia was great, but I was sad when they let Tavia go. They're very good with pets. They allowed me to stay with my pitbull, and would even coordinate repairs for the time that worked best for me. People don't pick up their dogs poop but you can't blame the complex for that. The pool can definitely have a frat party vibe, but you also can't blame the complex for that. The gym is not up to par but enough to cover the basics. There's a kroger across the street. What more could you ask for?

A great place to call "home" for over ten years. Dionne and Felicia and the entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any issues or questions . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the elevator and four story covered parking garage. . I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood with parks and trails."

Pool was green for a month after it was 90 degrees. They finally decided to drain and refill it after weeks of trying to add chemicals. Maintenance and cleanliness of the grounds has gone downhill. Security doesn’t work most nights and the gates are always open. They use an electric company that has no accountability. I had a leak twice and my bill was high and was offered nothing off of my bill. Lost electric had to throw food out and I wasn’t offered anything towards that as well. I don’t recommend living here to anyone. Dog poop everywhere dirty hallways homeless people have free reign of the place. Now that I have moved one of their leasing people has sent me a message to my private cell phone. The message was extremely unprofessional and threatening in nature. Especially from a leasing agent who I seen nodded out on a hard drug bender. I hope she gets help. The turnover of their maintenance and grounds people and their poor hiring is their downfall. Your storage will be broken into, car stolen. Seems like a nice place but it’s not. Run!

I have lived here for 5 years. Everything was great until the last year. There has been two different management teams in the last year and it is evident. I had to move units due to flooding and now it’s 90 degrees outside and I have not had air conditioning since March. Other maintenance requests are not taken care of in a timely fashion.

Good luck getting any sort of maintenance or service. The doors to my building have been broken for over a year now. They do not lock. They do not even close. I guess it is better since they replaced the door handle 4 months back. At least now I can open the door to get in. But now the door does not close. Still waiting on them to fix my washing machine. Maybe one day they will hire an exterminator to deal with the spiders that gather in the corner of the hall near my unit. I would not recommend that anyone rent here.

Dionne (Property Manager) level of customer service has to be mentioned. This is my second full year here and the best experience of my stay was Ms. Dionne taking care of all my apartment maintenance needs and being a friendly person to talk to. She checked on me on a day I needed it and it meant everything to me. She creates a family atmosphere in the office and that’s very refreshing when you are in a home away from home.

Office staff we just overhauled within the last few months and service requests still are just optional. Been without A/C for week plus now and multiple service requests and Voicemails have done nothing. Pathetic.

Just moved in a few days ago so I can only speak on my experience thus far.Malik and Dionne (Property Manager) were extremely helpful throughout the move in process. They let me know they were open and available to assist me with any questions and problems I had and they have honored that. It was great knowing that they wanted to ensure a smooth move-in process for me.When I moved in during the weekend the AC was not working. I sent a message in their portal but I understand it was the weekend. I followed up by calling the office on the next business day (Monday) and Brianna (?) submitted a request to maintenance on my behalf. That morning, someone from maintenance came to check on the apartment who was very nice and welcoming. He let me know that someone would be coming later on in the day to fix my AC. To my surprise, just a few minutes later Ben Davis came to fix my AC. He was friendly and fixed my AC in a timely manner. I greatly appreciate the quick response time as it took less than 2 hours from when I first made the call to when Ben finished fixing my AC.It feels good knowing that there's good people here who want to help create a great experience for the residents here at Liberty Place. Everyone has been super kind, helpful, and welcoming. I'm looking forward to my time here.
