Cornell always does an excellent job maintaining the property. He is so friendly and helpful and makes living here a great experience. Maintenance is very efficient and completes work orders in under a day. The pool has been under construction for some time so that is my only negative comment since it’s a commodity I would like to use.

Resident for 8 months. Overall, I really enjoy living here. All of the other residents are friendly and I don’t have any complaints about noise! We’ve had a few hiccups with the front doors and elevators, but the leasing office and maintenance teams seem receptive and work towards getting things resolved in a timely manner. Cornell has been a great addition to the team! He is very personable and really cares about keeping our building clean.

Maintenance review - Taking a second here to talk about the 100/10 maintenance team. I was having trouble with my heat pump not kicking in and I was fortunate enough to have Kamron Kuehner from the maintenance team pick up the ticket. I have never had, nor have I ever heard of, a maintenance guy who worked as hard as Kamron did to find the problem, work out a solution, and get it working again. We went through multiple theories and fixes, and he was happy to stick with it the entire time. Even when a vendor came out and did not get the problem fixed, Kamron was still adamant about getting everything squared away. Once he was able to find the exact piece that was broken, he did talk me through it, fix everything, and I have finally switched my furnace from “Emergency” to “Heat”. Thank you Kamron for all your help with this! And LC, please make note of what an excellent job he did!

Pros:QuietGood viewsLocationGymCons:MaintenanceVery Cheap materials used in the apartmentOld washers/dryers- leaks water & are loudOld dish washer- steam dry doesn’t workPool- I was told it would be done summer 2024- not sure if that’s accurate. No construction has begun yet. After my tour with Destinee I had a few simple questions: what color was the counters and cabinets in the kitchen (was not known during the tour) and the gym hours. Each time I called the leasing office they told me they would have Destinee give me a call back. I even emailed her regarding my questions but didn’t hear back. Maybe she was on vacation. Not sure why someone else in the office couldn’t answer my questions. I almost didn’t rent from LC because of it.Also, with my application process there was a lot of miss communication. I was told the LC requires a letter from my employer. My paycheck stub and tax returns weren’t sufficient. After getting the letter. The leasing office stated my employer needed to complete a form and the letter wouldn’t work. Lots of minor hiccups because of miss communication with the leasing office. When I went to move in my employer discount wasn’t listed and I was assigned to a parking garage down the street. But there were spots open under the building in the garage. The lady who gave me the keys fixed all my paperwork. She was very sweet and helpful. As far as maintenance, I put in 12 work orders upon moving in. I know it’s a lot. I felt bad but it appeared like a walk through was not completed by staff before I moved in. There was a hole in the door from a broken door stopper, scratches on the floors, a couple small holes in the wall that needed patched and painted, clogged bathroom sink, and a couple of the doors were hung unevenly (which you have to forcefully open and close bc they are french doors). So, you have to pull the door open with extra force causing black marks on the white trim. Also the blackout blinds didn’t fully open. Light fixtures were hung crooked. All my work ordered were closed out the same day. I was told they didn’t see an issue with the uneven doors having to be aggressively opened with force. I put a follow up one in about the door with a hole in it. One of the maintenance guys dropped off a piece of plastic to place over the hole and some paint for me to fix the walls. He did tell me they will not replace the door as they replaced it recently. It interesting that the door was replaced recently (before I moved in) but the broken door stopper wasn’t fixed. Just seems like there is a lack of attention to detail. If rent was only $1,000-1,200 for a studio, I wouldn’t mind all the small issues. However, I pay $1650 plus another $80 in amenities and $100 for electric in the common areas, so do expect the apartment to be better maintenance.

We've lived here for a few years, and it's nice to see the place officially back to life after the pandemic. We're impressed with the resident events (shout out to Nicole), and we appreciate the facilities and maintenance crews keeping the space clean. The leasing office staff are always friendly and quick to respond.

Highly do not recommend living at the LC riversouth. I’m beyond concerned about the safety of the residents in my LC building, especially those of the neighbors close by and the specific residents of the apartment I’ve been informing about.I have reported this specific apartment at least 4 times, and yesterday was tempted to call the cops. I have video evidence exampling the echos of what sounds like pots and pans being thrown, slamming, and screaming. At worst, this is an ongoing domestic violence situation. At minimum, destruction of property.Management does not have time for anything other than making the apartment a hotel.Next time, I’m calling the cops since management doesn’t seem to warrant this as an issue. If you value your safety, do not live here.

I have to say I’ve found the perfect place in Columbus for myself and my lifestyle. I looked at LC online and loved the place. All the amenities and location is perfect. With my schedule I was unable to make a cpl of the appointments to tour a unit there previously. I looked for months and had several options at other places. I was in Columbus unexpectedly and just walked in the LC. Lexi Garett was there with a beautiful greeting asking how could she help. I asked to see a specific unit and she gladly took the time to show me. This was the perfect unit and I secured it immediately. If she wouldn’t have shown me the place I wanted I had another place that I was interested in walking in that day. I would have probably got the other place. I am glad I didn’t and I am so happy she took the time to show me. I fell in love with LC. It’s perfect for me. Thx Lex. ?

I love my apartment, but I think management could be better. The pool was taken out September 2022 and an email was sent stating would return in the spring. It is now August 2023 and no construction has started and there hasn't been any communication from management about the pool. Paying for a luxury apartment with no pool access seems like a ripoff.

Very happy to call LC Riversouth home! The current management team has been doing an awesome job. They’re kind, they communicate well, and have been doing everything in their power to address any issues that have come up in the community. The property manager is the first of any leasing management to actually call me when the office team said he would and answered every question I had. We previously had trouble with maintenance and felt we were managing their work for them. Without having to bother the team they’ve scheduled the necessary repairs and followed up with us in a timely manner. The apartments are gorgeous, spacious, and have the BEST apartment kitchens in Columbus. My husband and I have lived here 2 years and are ready for a third!

Hands down the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived at.The building management team here is amateur at best and you will realize that quick. They put on their sales shoes when it comes to apartment tours but it is all an act.DO NOT LIVE HERE

Beautiful community but I was constantly told incorrect information - I had no heads up that the pool would be renovated during my lease, the nice washer that I was shown during my tour was replaced with a MUCH smaller washer after I moved in, and was told incorrect information about parking. It’s a beautiful community, but the administration was poorly organized and it led to frustration throughout my lease.

broadly, I’m pretty happy with this apartment and with management. There have a been a few snafus along the way, but it’s so difficult for things to be 100% perfect. I’d recommend this property. I’ve found it very safe for an urban setting. They should rethink their approach to mail/packages.

Dustin was very helpful the last two days! He initially came in for a maintenance request and was so respectful and kind. He came back the next day for another issue that we had and once again he was not only professional but communicated well and was respectful of our space. It was a pleasure to have him help fix issues quickly and so professionally!

We love living at the LC Riversouth. The staff is impeccable! Whenever we’ve needed assistance they address it immediately. Brittany even helped me load furniture that was delivered. We love our floor plan & amenities. We’re in walking distance of everything, & beginning to enjoy summer events starting downtown. The goat is always a great time. If you like Columbus downtown living LC Riversouth is the place. With any place there’s things that can be improved, but LC listens & make concessions when warranted. Happy we made the decision to move here.

It’s been experience with LC River South. The staffs are very helpful especially Lexi. She helped me last year to move in from PA and also just helped me to move in to the new apartment this month. Lexi is very helpful, accommodating, resourceful and awesome. Thank you so much , Lexi for making me feel awesome in LC River South as my home.
