I've been going to this gym for 12 years and it has done a total nosedive in quality under the current (so-called) manager, Taylor. I likely could identify and list *at least* 25 current issues with the club that are not being addressed, but I'm instead going to zero in on one issue that well reflects how horribly this facility is managed: Not one shower stall door in the men's locker room has a working door latch - they are either broken or missing. This has been an issue for close to two full years. But, here's the thing: A hook-and-eye door latch costs $7.00 at Lowe's and it would take staff less than 30 minutes to install one on every stall door. However, Taylor is utterly incapable of putting one-half of one-ounce of effort into effectively managing this facility. Here's another example that reflects how little she cares: When members misuse equipment and/or amenities, she simply discontinues access to that equipment or amenity for all members. A professional and reasonable manager would put forth some type of demonstrated effort to enforce the club's policies on equipment and amenity uses - but not Taylor. She just immediately discontinues access for all paying members. Everybody has seen businesses that experience a change in management go downhill - but this is a textbook example of how a horrible and unprofessional manager has entirely destroyed a business. I had exactly *zero* issues and zero complaints with this location for 9+ years, but it's been non-stop issues since Taylor became the manager (2-3 years ago). She puts forth exactly zero efforts to make this gym a good location. The ONLY reason this location remains successful is because of the location and lack of comparable competition in the area. But, help is on the way! A new gym is opening later this year at Grandview Crossing and if Taylor isn't removed, I'm predicting a max exodus from Esporta when that gym opens.

The locker room is clean but almost weekly at least one shower isn't working for what ever the reason . Currently there is no shower head in one of the stalls and hasn't been for weeks Go buy a freaking shower head !!! Every other day there is a sign on the sauna saying it's broken etc . People pay a fee for you to keep it up to par but you don't . Use to be a good gym to go to but not so much anymore

I used to go to the Grandview location several times a week to work out,and mainly use the sauna. They had the best sauna in town. But about a year and a half ago, the sauna heater broke down, and it was replaced with one that didn’t get nearly as hot. So I stopped going a few weeks later. I called the gym last week inquiring about the sauna now, and how hot it currently is. I was told by the lady working, that it was getting up to 180 degrees, which isn’t as hot as it used to get, but still decent. So I tried it again tonight, and not only was she completely wrong about the temperature, it was even colder, the sauna also smelled terrible. It wreaked in a way it did not before. Between the lukewarm temperature and the stench, I decided to just hit the shower. The showers are also substandard as well, as most of the doors don’t latch properly, the shower heads don’t provide an even water stream, and the water pools up at the drain. These problems always existed before as well. In short, this location is not maintained at all, and I would never return nor recommend it.

Calhoun’s rudeness is going to lose a lot of business… customer service training is needed immediately!

Decent selection of equipment but that's it. Went to cancel my membership in person and was told some crap about them needing a manager to do it even though the manager who manipulated me into buying a membership was there at the time. Just canceled it online for anyone who wants to cancel and is getting an excuse just for them to make more money. Overall, gym was always super crowded and cleaning supplies were rarely ever found/stocked.

Facilities are adequate. Disappointment in the details. Biggest complaint is with the pool. During peak times be prepared to have 4 or 5 adults waiting on a single lane as they have returned to having infant swim lessons in the first two lanes between 3 and 8 pretty much all the time. That also means doing your laps in a kiddie pool. Staff is fine, cleanings eventually happen, parking is satisfactory, but how do I wish we didn’t have management double booking the pool time.

Been a member for a little over 2 years now. The club has steadily been on the decline and I’m not quite sure why. The men’s locker room is always filthy. The majority of the time there’s always equipment that’s broken down and unusable. Something should be done.

My four months minimum membership is about to be up and I will not be renewing. The equipment is not well taken care of, it's far too busy, they never have wipes in the dispensers, etc.

Been stopping in this gym when visiting Columbus since 2012. Since it switched from LAF to Esporta, they added equipment you don’t see at LAF.Indoor pool, track and very open room concept with large glass windows allowing lots of natural light in.Generally very clean, except for the equipment framework not being cleaned by staff. (Reason for only 4 Stars.)If you’re stopping in to check on a tour or membership, be sure to ask for Caleb.

Really wanted this place to be good, but it's all of the things you don't want in a gym: way overcrowded, dirty, equipment old and not maintained. The locker area and sauna reek. 1st and 3rd floors are huge wastes of space where additional equipment could be added if ownership cared. I'm out

Surprised by how outdated and dirty this gym is considering their location and high membership levels. Old equipment, dirty showers - now with no hot water. People are awesome and friendly but the gym needs a major upgrade.

Why? The last 30 days there’s been five days with no hot water in the main shower! Sauna is usually down. Some of the equipment has been broke for several weeks before being repaired. Suggestion call new mechanical contractor to take care of the temperature in locker room, your repeated failures

I am shocked that we are now going on 30 days with no hot water! I always enjoy taking a warm shower after a sweaty workout to prepare myself for work. Not at this gym.
