My wife & I was just in this Kroger to pick up my wifes medicine and to do a little shopping. When we went to check out at a register we went to a normal register with an actual employee working, after when we went to leave the old man security guard grabbed my arm to try to stop me from going out of the store when I flung my arm to get his arm off of me he decided he was going to grab the shopping cart with our groceries and are one and a half year old granddaughter sitting in it to try to stop us from leaving the store, then because we did not show him our receipt in which in the state of Ohio there is no law saying you HAVE to show your receipt even at the store itself ask you to. Then the security guard decided he was going to follow us out of the store insulted my wife an insulted me, said that we look like the type of people who would steal, smh so we continued to our vehicle and put our groceries and granddaughter in our car, then the other security guard decided he wanted to walk over and try to take pictures of us and my car until I decided to flick him off, yes he got the middle finger then he just stood there looking like a moron not knowing what to do. After we left my wife decided to call the Kroger and talk to a manager, the manager on duty got on the phone talk to my wife and my wife explained to her the incident, I don't remember the manager's name but it was a female manager told my wife that they had people reviewing the footage of the incident, she told us the security guards are from a third party company and when we asked for the company name and the. security guards names the female manager wanted to act dumb and tell us that she didn't know the guards names or company, how are u going to be a manager and not know what security company is at your store or even not know the guards names smh, so we asked her to do her job and walk down and get us the guards name, the manager then put my wife on hold for about 15 to 20 minutes and then hung up the phone, so my wife tried calling back for 10 minutes and no one knew how to answer a phone. Needless to say when I get home I will be filing a police report on the security guard and pressing charges for harassment, detaining us for no reason, defamation of character, I will also be contacting the district manager of this store and reporting this terrible manager who don't know how to do her job! If my granddaughter wouldn't have been in the shopping cart I probably wouldn't be taking this, this far but now I will not stop until both of these security guards and the manager on duty lose there job and have to deal with consequences.

I actively avoid this particular Kroger when I can due to the stupid "highlight your receipt" policy. How is checking my receipt helping the store "stop shoplifting"? Plus, I just checked out right in front of the armed guards (why do you need armed guards in a grocery store??) and they still need to see my receipt? Dumbest policy ever. I doubt investigating your customers to highlight a piece of paper is doing anything to deter shoplifting but would be deterring people from wanting to go there. Are you really going to go through all my items to make sure I paid for them? Hate this place.

Armed guards with their wittle highwighturs make this place unbearable. Supposed to be a “neighborhood grocery store.”

Never do a pick up order from this location! I have had so many issues on multiple occasions from my groceries not being ready during the time slot provided, not receiving all my groceries that I paid for and receiving the wrong groceries. I called one time because they didn't give me all my groceries and was told there was nothing they could do about it. I strongly do NOT recommend shopping at this location

So I go to Kroger at 1052 security told me that they stop letting people in at 10:50. I said OK as I walk back to my car I see a white person go in and security let them in and security who was biracial didn’t let me a black man in but he let the white man in hmmm.

I arrived to the store at 10:51pm in need of heartburn medicine, a quick in and out trip. They stopped me at the door to tell me they’re closed. I asked if they close at 11pm and they said yes but they were instructed to not let anybody else inside. So what’s the point of closing at 11 if you decide to close your doors earlier? I’ve come at this time in the past for a quick in and out, as this is the closest store to me with these hours and have never had this issue before. I get that coming at 10 til close is unsavory but when you work the hours I do, it’s the only time I have to get any emergency items I cannot wait for until my single day off of the week. If y’all are tired of people staying past their time, do like Meijer and auto close all checkouts at midnight. But to punish those who need just a single healthcare item -which takes two minutes from entry to exit of the store- that is crazy. Do better.

Bakery is not the place to go for custom cakes, ordered a cake and they did not follow any of the instructions of what I had written out and was a waste of money.
I asked for ‘happy birthday’ to be written’ in all lowercase in the center of the cake, and it was put on the top with uppercase letters, and the handwriting was very messy and not what I would expect from a bakery.

I’ve been going to this store for 15 years and it has never been worse than it is today. The store is out of nearly every traditional staple very commonly. The staff is short and abrasive. They rarely staff more than one checkout counter and force people to check out an entire week of groceries at the self checkout, then make you check in with a security guard to have your cart and receipt inspected. If you order by curbside, 75% of the time you will get a text saying they are behind and you need to come later - sometimes that text arrives while you are in the parking lot. Today, “Dominick” stated my order wouldn’t be ready for 40 minutes, but when I told him I’d see him again in 40 minutes, he said he couldn’t guarantee it would be ready. Commonly, the curbside team will say an item is out, but you find it immediately when you go in yourself. It is managed terribly and they need to consider leadership changes. Until then, I recommend Giant Eagle in Grandview.

Everytime I order a cake from here first 2 times it wasn't done at the time and then wrong cake decorating. The last 2 times the same day I'm supposed to pick the cake up tells me they don't have the decorating kit or they don't make round cakes. If you don't make them call the person dont call the same day. This Krogers bakery is a no go

Kroger starting giving out deals but only if you scan a QR code. QR codes are just a way to steal information. So this is bs

Quite a large supermarket located in the Brewery District. I happened to stay around here and stopped by to see if there was anything available for a quick dinner. There is a selection of hot and cold food inside as well as a sushi counter.

A young woman displayed a lack of respect during my visit. While using the self-checkout, I inquired about a discount on soda, but she assumed I was attempting to steal it and did not offer any assistance. Fortunately, an older female employee intervened and clarified how the discount worked. It is disheartening to see such disrespectful behavior from younger individuals, who seem to lack basic manners and upbringing. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to this location, as they mistakenly believed I was trying to steal twelve packs of soda. As a preacher for Redeemers Faith Believers Church of God, I intended to donate these items to the homeless and those in need. The way I was treated was truly disappointing, especially considering my purpose of helping the less fortunate.
