Forced to don a mask--3.5 years out from the onset of the pandemic. This is also well after the CDC has said masks are no longer necessary or helpful.If your store followed the scientists when they told you it was prudent to wear a mask--why don't you listen to them when they tell you that you no longer have to?By insisting on a mask protocol when the virus is no longer threatening, you actually hurt your cause. People will view your store's policy not as a reasonable and temporary health request (which it was in 2020-21), but a draconian imposition.Do--or do you not--follow the science?

Wow. There are bookstores that look nice, but where I won't find a single book I just have to read. This bookstore was hot. It was dusty. It took a relatively long while just to check out. But I found a whole stack of unique, fascinating books not found elsewhere. Just walking around in here will rekindle a love of learning about all different kinds of subjects. If not prepared merely to browse for hours, it might be good to make a list of specific hard-to-find/old/out of print authors that you'd like to find, in advance. You'll surely find some treasure that way.There is a cafe just out the door and to the left. They have an (albeit extremely tiny) bathroom, outdoor seating, lemonade, chai, etc.

Stopped in here and fell in love. If you love good random book finds, this is the place for you! Tons, I mean tons of books everywhere, you will find something good! And the owners were so nice and considerate. Amazing prices as well. So glad I found this bookstore.

The CUTEST bookstore!!! The lady that runs this place is so knowledgeable and so sweet. My sister a a huge book lover and I'm so excited to show her this place when she comes to visit me!! It is a cash/check only but they will hold your books up to two weeks. Would definitely recommend this place!! So many books, you can spend hours here.

I love browsing in this book shop. They have books -- all used mind -- that no other bookstore has. The shop is quiet and crammed with books, so you will not be bored. It is cash only, but they allow you to hold the books you want to buy until you can return with the money.

My husband used to peruse their shop, but at a previous location and about 28 years ago. Today, he introduced me to this treasure hunt of a gem. So much to find and such excellent prices! Give yourself plenty of time. You will need it. Not only for the thousands upon thousands of titles that you will find, but also for the extra time needed for some of the stacks that you will ultimately want to shift through. You may need an assistant by your side, as some of the stacks can be a bit precarious and the occasional avalanche is bound to happen.The owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to ask questions.Be prepared! Cash or check payment, only.Looking forward to going back!EDIT: Still love stopping by, whenever I have the chance. They're still only taking cash/ check as payment. It's always a treat to browse and see what catches your fancy!

Absolutely incredible place!!!! This is an incredible experience coming in this store. You simply dont find book stores like this anymore. Its an absolute gem. There is a massive variety of books and you will have to search but its peaceful and inviting.

I was in the area, saw this cute book store and tried to walk in. The door was locked and I get this death glare from the person inside. I quickly walked away because this was so rude. I did what any person would do in 2022 and checked Google when I got home. It said the store was supposed to be open, but then I read a review that said it's apt only. And a response back from the owner about how it's obvious to call or check the store's website for an apt before you go in. No one does that anymore. Especially if you just happen to be casually in the area like I was. Wouldn't have rated this if I didnt get looked at like I was a criminal at the door.
