Do not trust the vehicle fitment checker on the website. If it is wrong you could be charged return shipping and a restock fee. I bought a Pro Flo 4 XT for $3000 that said it would fit my 1999 350 5.7L Vortec Tahoe. Sure it will fit... you just gotta buy a $900 transmission controller (I made sure I bought this from Summit) since the truck comes with a 4L60E and needs signals it will no longer be able to see since your putting the engine on a new ECU. You have to loose your auto 4wd ability, no more knock sensors, no more OBDII, loose your ABS brakes, retrofit your entire fuel delivery system, loose your AC and cut your power steering/ AC bracket in half. The list honestly goes on longer than you would like to hear so I will summarize it there.Had I simply tried to return this unit the restocking fee alone would have cost me 15% of the total order value ($450) this does not include return shipping or the possibility that they determine it needs a "new" box. If it needs a new box well thats another 15% fee ($450) dont take my word for it the information is on their website. Click Help Center - Frequently Asked Questions - Returns and they will tell you themselves; "A 15% ($7.99 minimum) restocking fee will be deducted from any item returned 30-60 days after the ship date; No returns are accepted after 60 days. A 15% reboxing fee will be deducted for any item not returned in its original packaging."So I have committed to installing this thing and since that decision I have had to purchase the following additional specific items to be able to install the pro flo 4 xt system;Valve Cover Gaskets180 degree F ThermostatIntake Water NeckEdelbrock Gasgacinch #9300High EMI Plug WiresAN type Fuel FittingsAN Type Fuel HosesFuel RegulatorFuel PSI GaugeIgnition CoilHarmonic Balancer with Timing MarksI have had numerous issues with Jegs this month, I dont even care to explain any more of them.Hey Jegs... I hope you guys realize that the fee's in your return policy need a limit or maximum value. How does restocking a $3000 part cost 10x as much as restocking a $300 part? You should not recover the profits you lost on a sale by exploiting the return policy just to save your finances when you lose a sale. We are not idiots. Im honestly broke AF but I come from a very wealthy family, this truck is all I have left of my father and this was supposed to be a painless fit according to your vehicle fitment checker that is still BS'ing people to this day. From now on I will give Summit the chance to disappoint me but at least I can count on a disappointment either way right, that is the one thing we are sure to receive. Life is losing its luster

I have ordered from Jegs 3 times and all 3 times have been a mistake. I ordered a chrome alternator bracket the first time when I received it it was in a bag all taped up. When I opened it up it was used you can see the scratches from the bolts were it was already bolted on. The second time I ordered it was 6 days to get it. the third time I ordered it was supposed to be here in 2 days and it’s been a week when I called them. They had no concern and said they will mail it next week. This company charges a fortune to ship parts. And won’t refund or discount my shipping for their slow service. I do not recommend jegs to anybody. Their customer service is a joke.

Tried to order a radiator core support from them online. It said it was in stock. 2 weeks later I received an email from them saying it would not be shipped until next year. Website is inaccurate and misleading. That was the first and last time I will ever deal with this company. I guess on the bright side my refund was issued in 3 days.

Part was reordered. It has arrivedOrdered an alternator a while back. Waited for it wasted a day looking for it turns out I was credited for the part. Tried to ordered it again checked my emails. It was not ordered was of time dealing with this company

Very poor experience. I placed an online order that was held up because they wanted to further verify my information, which is fine, but their customer service is so poor that I was on hold for frustratingly long periods and transfers before finally getting the order verified. When my delayed order arrived the parts didn't fit because the information on Jegs' website is wrong. I confirmed this with the parts manufacturer who said that I would have to return the items to Jegs and replace the order with the P/N's provided by the manufacturer. Oh, but they want me to pay for return shipping the wrong parts that don't fit because Jegs fitment information is wrong. Now I've been strung along for almost an hour before being told that I should just pay the $25 return shipping for their mistakes and being now on hold for non-existent customer service.

Summit only from now on. Ordered a transmission from Jegs, sent the core back, confirmed with the shipping company it had arrived. Received the receipt that they credited the core fee back to Jegs 6 weeks ago. 2 months later, 3 phone calls, 45 minutes on hold, still waiting for my core deposit back.

Great parts. But, returns are terrible. Ordered a bunch of small parts at warehouse and they came on separate pick tickets. They charged the $7 return fee on every ticket even though I got everything on 1 order and picked it all up at once.Not happy.

I bought a transmission and had it installed to find out it does not fit my truck. I called jegs they answered but hang up on me now. I called them back and they will not pick up it takes them 10 minutes to answer I am currently at 15 minutes and going. hope fully some answers me. might have to call from a different number for them to answer me that is what I did with the carrier they sent it thru. it was one day late arriving at the shop as well.

Purchased a motor from them last year around December.The day they were supposed to pick up core return I took the day off of work to facilitate this.THEY WERE NO CALL NO SHOW NO EMAIL.They showed up the following MONDAY without calling or sending email.LUCKILY my teenage son was home so they could pick up core return.I WAS AT WORK.That was 90 days ago and after several emails and phone calls still have not received my $500 refund for my core return.WHAT A TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT A LONG TIME CUSTOMER NEVER AGAIN.SUMMIT WILL BE MY NEW SUPPLIER.
