Nate is a very knowledgeable trainer who will easily tailor a workout to suit your current goals and abilities. Don't let the size of the place fool you; though it seems small, there is an abundance of equipment and weights to make each workout a unique experience. Unlike a larger gym with countless cardio machines, you come to JST to challenge yourself and workout in a small group setting in which you receive more one-on-one attention. I have used other big-name gyms in the past, but I keep coming back to Nate because the quality of my workouts is immeasurably better than anything else.

So it was conveniently located next to club McKinley so I figured what the hell. I got the Groupon deal. I guess you would consider this format a "group session" type deal. Owner Nathan is a pretty accessible guy who who will answer all your questions. He will keep you motivated. There's plenty of parking, a clean bathroom.....what would I change? If I was Nate, I would add more times to which he has his groups, he has one at 6 am and one at 445. I hope he gets to a level of success where hes at his gym all the time because he's definitely quite enthusiastic about lifting heavy s**** I recommend.

Very positive environment. Diverse workouts. My strength and energy levels have grown since starting here. Working out here has been the push I didn't realize I needed when working out on my own.

I've been going for about a month. And i love the place. Nate made me feel comfortable from day one. I'm now gonna be a long time member. Best gym I've ever been to. Nate is great at what he does.

I started at Jackhammer Strength Training 3 years ago with a Groupon and never left. I love the laid back atmosphere and the dynamic workouts, which are a nice mix of cardio and weight training. Nate has helped me increase my strength dramatically and my workouts have been a great tool to manage my scoliosis complications. A little gym....with tons of personality and a great bang for the buck! Nathan, and Bridget work hard at keeping a variety of workouts throughout the week ...working all muscle groups, from mild to hardcore Jackhammer! I have been going solidly 4 times a week for the last seven months....not sure how I lived with out it! Come get your Jackhammer on!! You wont regret it :) And you might make a friend or two....

This gym is my second home!!! Nate (owner) is amazing and very welcoming to all. I been a member for 3 years. At any time I can call or text Nate for motivation and ideas. Flexible hours and class times. Just call Nate and he'll make sure you get strong!

Nate's gym is awesome. He focuses a lot of his workouts on core strength. I am a dentist in town and I used to have major lower back pain and I have had no spasms or strains since I started with him 2 years ago. My posture is getting better too because of the workouts. My wife and I moved further away but we still go regularly just because it's almost necessary now. I would highly recommend jackhammer strength to anyone interested.

I have been a member at Jackhammer for almost a year and have experienced great results! If you are committed to improving your fitness and having the opportunity to try out new workouts, this is the gym for you and you will see results within the first few weeks. The close knit environment of the gym and the personal attention that you receive is something that you cannot receive from any other gym around, while still getting a great value for your money. There are 5 classes daily with flexible times in the morning and the evening. I would highly recommend trying out a boot camp session at Jackhammer to experience a different kind of workout. Workouts are easily modified to fit anyone and everyone needs in the class. Tell Nate that Lauren sent you :)
