If I could give 0 stars I would. The african American lady I spoke to put a Fraud Alert on my father in law's account because I lodged a complaint about her attitude. I am here in Romania assisting him with his Huttington account because he is experiencing a language barrier. He used to live in US but still banks there. All we called to ask about was online banking and the lady over the phone was on some power trip acting like we were doing something nefarious. Unbeknownst to us, after we spoke with her supervisor we thought everything was good....stupid lady locked my father in law's account and now he has no way to access his money...unless he flies to the USA...which you cannot do...unless you have money. Thanks Shenuiqua or whatever your name was...real professional. Must feel real good to get one over on us.

I have a large of amount of a check was sent from me and the person who sent me the check his name is Jimmy Nathan and I don’t know him and never met him before but he sent a check in my name and the check is from this bank and I don't know what’s going on but I want answers, The check look real but at the same time it looks fake, I thought someone who knew me sent it and I was gonna cash it but when I did, they told me that this check has been used already or it’s fraud..Why would this person do that to me?? Please if you have anything I need to know please share it with me. I’m trying to found this jimmy guy but he’s nowhere to be found. I have an address on the package that the check was in and I called the company he works at and they not answering.

Check the BBB before dealing w/this bank, especially this year alone (2024). There's something foul going on. They found a way to unfairly charge me for an issue that made no sense. They refused to correct their error. I had to close my account & go elsewhere. The complaints on this bank were not there (@ the BBB) when I opened my account a few yrs ago.

I closed my accounts with them in December of 2023. They kept them open and added service fees due to zero balance. I called them again on 05-Mar-2024 and they agreed to refund their silly fees and properly close the accounts. On 16-Mar-2024, they still didn't close them, and allegedly (improperly) paid an ACH from my water supplier. Now they are harassing me, trying to collect $25 in fees for paying that $72.16 bill. Not.Gonna.Happen. I've wasted hours dealing with them. Time for me to bill them for my time. In my attempts to reimburse them for the ~$72 they allegedly paid my water company, they've given me incorrect information regarding how to pay them. It is as if they don't want the payment to ever be properly credited. DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK.
[Edit 06-Apr-2024, response to Huntington's "response":] I've contacted Huntington several times attempting to resolve it. They take a bullying stance and tell me outright lies. "Please let us know". [eyeroll] Huntington already knows. This is about letting *others* know, so they can adequately protect themselves (and/or know others exists for class action). I feel pretty certain this is standard operating procedure (SOP).

Not sure how their refund process is out of the 1800s. They can't do a transfer to your account but instead have to mail you a check. Complete scam of a company. Avoid.

Huntington Bank as a company is not friendly to small businesses. They have slowly but surely been squeezing out the little guy who accepts cash at his business through fees on depositing your own cash into your own account, lowering the maximum cash deposit allowed, and increasing business checking minimum balances. Find another bank that supports small town America.

They know me by name when I walk into the lobby. They treat me like I actually have money. Very friendly people. My Huntington branch is 17 S. High ST. 43215. The lobby is beautiful. Thank you.

100% totally unethical people avoid at all costs especially any advertisements about bonuses. You have to have your account 90 days before you get anything. This is a very small detail they hide.and they will deny every other transaction you do .you have to call customer service constantly because your card is being declined in places. This small bank is trying to attract people so it will stop being a small bag however, they are using very unethical practices to do it.

Go to this bank if you have Huntington!! Even if yah only got five bucks you will feel like a millionaire or Jason Bourne or something fancy!!!
