WORST possible experience imaginable.
Went to have my small business taxes filed, Moo Jong was so rude about it being my first time, and when I tried to correct her on my business operations and finances (I work commission at my own business), began yelling at me. She filed everything as if it was personal, not business, the idiot. Wasn’t even compensated like the POM I purchased should have covered! When I tried to get it fixed, NO ONE will answer the phone, just immediately directed to a well operating location. the Mansfield location answered & got help within 5 minutes. Any other h&r block is more productive and professional than this one.

Every time I have gone to hrblock something Allways goes wrong terrible company only cares about profit they do not care about any of there customers they only care about how much there going to make and how fast they can get u out the door so they start on another terrible business and company tax rep put the wrong birthday last year couldn’t even get approved because of this company finds a personal tax pro screw the big corperations they really don’t care and hrblock is diffently not free

Terrible experience at this location.
- 10 minutes late to start our appointment. Then sat for 15 minutes while she tried to figure out her computer before moving to another desk.
- 2 hour and 20 minute total appointment length.
- Our tax “professional” did not know what an interest earned tax form was (1099-INT).
- She could not figure out how to print a form from her computer (my wife had to show her how).
- She filled out 3 separate sections incorrectly and had to have a different tax professional come and show her how to do it.
- We had to fill an out of state tax form, and she did not know how to do it. We had to inform her that she needed to sign and provide her number before she scanned it in.
- Could not explain any procedures properly, even down to how we wanted to pay for the services. My wife and I left the office feeling uneasy and very aggravated with the entire process.
** Still required to pay full price of $260 for the services that were extremely un-professional and incompetent.

Run far and fast from this company. I chose to get my taxes done professionally as I moved and was scared of making a silly mistake. Well, my tax professional at this location made a mistake that cost me hundreds of dollars. Thankfully, one of the cities caught the mistake. Despite me forwarding them information from 2 different cities showing how my taxes should have been prepared and the penalties it cost me, they denied my claim to cover the cost of the penalty. So their “100% accuracy” or they will cover the penalty promise is a scam. If they were honest and just stuck to their claim of protection upon errors, I wouldn’t be so upset. But now I have to eat the cost of their mistake.

Appointments are not being respected. I scheduled my first appointment with a customer service rep to speak to a tax pro. We locked in a 11:30AM appointment, but it was then confirmed as a 3:15PM appointment. Small inconvenience. But, the tax pro failed to call me at that time and nobody answered at the office. So that was a no show. I then scheduled a follow-up appointment today, which was also a no show. What kind of office misses multiple appointments? Really disappointed as I have been using HR Block for the past 5 years.

I scheduled an appointment online for a Friday at 11:00 and got a confirmation text. Without my consent, my appointment was changed to a Thursday at 4:30. The only way I found out was by reading a text asking me to confirm my "new" appointment. No one answers at the local level and I spent almost ten minutes trying to resolve the issue. Apparently, that location is closed on Fridays but you can still schedule appointments there . . .?

made appointment, they called to change it, was fine with it, but the person who called was extremely rude. not worth paying 350.00 to deal with idiots.. support local business, go private, cheaper and better values..

Rebecca Shaw is horrible! Repeated errors, not prepared for appointments, rude, was 3 clients behind and did not call or even take the time to ask the secretary there to call to save any of the 3 people the drive to her office and the wait in the lobby. So unprofessional. She offered no apology and said she just "tries to give everyone the time they need". Great- but it is a business and you need to have skills at time management if you set appointments. It is unacceptable to have people with appointments in your lobby for 3 hours. AND at least have the common human courtesy to call or ask the secretary there playing on her phone to call! 2 separate times I wasted driving 30 minutes to the office and she was not prepared or significantly behind and gave me no heads up. When I addressed this with her and expressed that it was rude, she told me that if I disagreed with having to wait 3 hours, not being notified and expected an apology for that being disrespectful, I was welcome to go elsewhere next year. HA!! Like who the hell would go back??!! My business is gone. I will add that before her, I had 17 years of amazing and accurate service by Rich with the Powell office, but sadly for me he retired. Last year the new person (with 20 years experience) made so many errors, omitted W2's, etc, that I had to have corporate get involved to fix it all--and I got an audit letter. So to win me back after all that, they assured me Rebecca was one of their best and I should expect a return to the top quality accuracy and top customer service I was use to with Rich once again. Well today, Rebecca ran my taxes and got 3 different numbers each time-and claimed she did not input anything different to cause the variance. I owe a lot of taxes each year and we are talking the variance was +/- $10k difference in each time she ran it. Do you think I have confidence my taxes are right and I won't get audited? NO. She blamed the computer. What a joke. I started my taxes in January since they are complicated and it is today 4/16/23. They obviously are not correct. Now I have to scramble in 2 days to find a CPA to check for errors so I can file on time. AND she charged me over $650 to do my taxes. You can bet I will be getting that refunded by corporate, filing a complaint with them, and never EVER coming back. DO NOT use this office and frankly, after the last 2 years, I can no longer recommend any H&R Block office at all.
