Absolutely horrible and heartless. Lied about being able to get a tax advance, double booked me and told the people behind me she would he done in 5 minutes! Rushed me through demanding I sign, sign, sign and was nasty the entire time. The one in Graceland shopping center, in columbus Ohio, the lady that has been there 14 years... she is absolutely horrible in so many ways. We were depending on an advance that she initially promised. I had my taxes done through TurboTax and explained to her that I didn't want to use HR Block if there was a chance I wouldn't get the advance, I would have gone to Liberty. She swore I would get it than was dismissive and mean when I was denied. It's much worse than just this, but I'm exhausted even thinking of the name H&R BLOCK at this point.

Not a great experience. I was quoted one price and ended up paying way more. They were not friendly. No one greeted me for at least 30 minutes. When no one else waited in the waiting room.

Paki is a good person but this is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a tax pro in my entire life and I really just want to tell everybody that I can’t make this up but basically my taxes are now being sent to me in the check instead of a direct deposit I’ve never worked with a tax pro that messed up my direct deposit and now I have to sit back a longer time frame to receive my money that I work hard for and I’ll be honest with you. I’m very disappointed that she didn’t even try to reach out to me to let me know what was going on and she just thought that I was just gonna forget everything that just happened the day before when I came up there and I visited her to talk to her about what was going on about the situation it’s really sad that nobody in her office really even knows how to solve the issue that happened I’ll be very blunt. I don’t really understand how the store has a 4.6 rating if the service was a one star service rating I understand that it’s not your guys his money to worry about but at the end of the day you guys showed up to do a job and I expect you guys to do it well everytime if somebody came into my store and needed that was needed i wouldn’t let them down the way they let me down this was my 2nd and last time ever using hr block thanks Paki for not really helping me , not knowing the answers to a job you’ve been in for 16 years , and thank you to your management team who clearly doesn’t care about the staff because if you did you wouldn’t leave your tax pro stuck with no help and not knowing what to do terrible experience

I usually use the Grandview location but decided to try the Graceland one as it was closer to me. Last week I made an appointment for 3pm, which was confirmed, and then someone called asking if I would be willing to switch to 2pm. I agreed and showed up at 5 til. There was no one at the desk. A man came in right after us and he had the right idea when he walked out after 15 minutes of waiting with no acknowledgement/present staff. Eventually a receptionist walked in from what apparent to be a kroger run, confirmed our appointment and said she though it would be another 15 minutes. We were never addressed again while the receptionist and a tax preparer (just apparently not our tax preparer) retired elswhere to chat. We left as it approached 3--frustrated at coming in early, for their convience, just to wait until my original time with no indication anything was happening any time soon. So I do recomment HR block but just dont use the Graceland location.

I don't recommend taking your taxes here. I dropped my taxes off because I thought it was the responsible thing to do with the virus and all. It took many phone calls, an in-person visit, and a month for my taxes to FINALLY be completed. Half the time I called, I didn't even receive a call back. It was a very frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable experience.
