I would not recommend going here for your taxes based on my experience with my tax pro. My Tax pro’s name was Gloria Barreras. Me and my husband were doing joint taxes. I was put down as a homemaker.
Half way through our appointment… Gloria started mentioning how she was a wife and mother and how she works the whole day sometimes. She stared directly at me while she said every word.
At the end of our first appointment, she looked at me and said “we need to help them you know”. That experience made me very uncomfortable and made me not want to continue with this person. I thought it was very unprofessional.
Then in our second appointment she made a nasty comment because my husband had some financial things to fix. This is what she said word for word “and you married him?”
I disregarded her comment at that point because I realized that she has a problem. She likes to judge people and I don’t think anybody should feel judged and be talked down to when getting their taxes done.
I’m not a confronting person at all. I let service workers that treat me badly slide all the time. I just won’t go back to them again or back to the same place. But I would like to warn others because I wouldn’t want them to choose the wrong person to take care of their taxes.
If you’re a stay at home wife or a normal human that has financial problems to fix, please go some where that they will treat you with kindness!!

We met a wonderful women who knew all the ins and outs of taxes. It was a pleasure doing taxes with her. She explained the whys of what she was doing and it all worked out. We have our date for next year set up.

I went to this H&R Block to get help filing my taxes and I have to say I am impressed with the service I received. I would recommend Karla Barrera as your tax analyst. She did an excellent job helping me file the taxes and making the whole process a lot easier for me to understand.

I just wanna say I had the best experience ever! My tax professional Gloria Barrera, not only was willing to stay past closing if need be to help my file (I came in at 5/5:15p the close at 6p) but she also walked me through everything to full understand what I was getting, she also got me the best return I could have asked for! She helped with deals to get the best service for a reasonable price & she helped me set up a really good bank account with them to get my return & continue to use afterwards. She also helped me get a really great advance to help me currently. She also did such a great job that my taxes have already been excepted so I’ll be getting my refund faster than I ever thought I would have filling somewhere else. So I wanna say thank you so much to you Gloria for all the help, advice & services you gave me, I will definitely continue to return & file with you. I felt seen as person not just someone to make money off, so your service are so worth the money in my opinion! I highly recommend stopping in & making an appointment with her & filling your taxes. I’d give 100 stars outta 5 if I could!

Did a awful job. I took a 2 hour bus ride to be denied services due to having a PAPER ID FROM THE BMV AND HAVING THE ID THEY HAVE ME BACK. They weren't any help. Thanks for nothing H&R Block
