What a difference 18 months makes. This weekend was my second and last stay at this property.
First I would give 5 starts to the front desk staff. The night audit guy did everything he could within his power to make my stay as good as it could be. Same wit the 60 something lady on days over the weekend. I can't recall their names, and apparently name tags aren't required at this Hilton property but they deserve some credit for trying their best with what they we're given.
Now for the bad, and there is plenty. This place is filthy and unsanitary. Hilton needs to send someone from corporate to this hotel which is operated by Middletown Hotel Management. 48 Million Dollars to build and this place is not unlike a 20 year old Super 8 or Motel 6.
First off, the snack area in the lobby is empty. Hardly anything available to purchase, and no beer and wine available like there was during my first stay. No Water offered at check-in as a HHonors member. Everything here is sticky. The hall outside the elevator bank was sticky. Inside the elevator was sticky and disgusting. The halls are being mopped with dirty mop heads which we witnesses one day while leaving the property for the day. The lobby smelled like a dirty mop. The elevators contain months worth of finger prints. No one is cleaning the elevator buttons.
Inside the room, dirty finger prints and dirty water stains on the inside of the entry door and bathroom door. The floor was sticky from where something was spilled by a previous guest. The floor had not been swept or mopped. The tub contained short black hairs from a previous guest. The commode had someones posterior sweat mark on it. The bathroom floor had not been swept. The carpet in the room was disgusting and obviously is not shampooed with any regular cadence.
The kitchenette was missing more then half of it's cookware and utensils based on what is stocked at other Homewood Suites I've stayed in.
There were only 2 sets of towels, and there were none available at the front desk or in laundry, so I had to hunt the halls for a housekeeper to bum a couple of towels.
The breakfast room on a Saturday morning displayed guests standing around waiting for food to be refilled and post-it notes from staff who apparently is calling the shots on what cups can be used for hot or cold drinks. At 8AM. there were no potatoes, some very runny oatmeal, no protein available, and no muffins. What was available were waffles, toast, hardboiled eggs, and drinks. Bright Green Bananas, very little cereal, in the dispensers, and no breakfast attendant to be found.
Someone here doesn't care. Maybe it's the GM. Maybe it's housekeeping, but this starts at the top with whoever is managing this place. Training and standards need to be followed and there clearly aren't any in place here. Maybe Hilton should let someone takeover that cares about the guest experience when you're spending a couple hundred dollars a night to stay somewhere. This was more like a $60 per night experience.

Rooms were ok but be careful staying here as there were many cars broken into and had to drive home(8 hours) with a broken out car windows and it seems they can do nothing about it.. I was told to park in front of Lobby the second nite to avoid more damage to my car.
Rooms: We were happy with the room and it was decent.
Nearby activities: Many good restaurants nearby. J Alexanders and Whole Foods.
Safety: Be very careful staying here as several car windows were broken out during the nite and watch where you park.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was just ok..

I’ve seen chicken coops built better than this hotel. Sleep was not possible because there is zero sound dampening in the walls. Staff was friendly - which was nice.

Checked in and found someone’s dirty clothes in the closet. Otherwise the room was decent so we didn’t make a fuss and disposed of the clothing. Breakfast was horrible and under stocked. Went to our car on check out day to find out it had been broken into. Thankfully there was nothing of value taken. We sought help from the hotel staff and asked them to pull the security footage but they stated it happens all the time and offered us garbage bags. We left disappointed and regretted staying there. We will not be back. We expected more from Hilton.
Safety: Not safe…do yourself a favor and stay closer to Easton.

Homeless sleeping in lobby. Cars broken into. My wife and daughter went to get breakfast and there was a homeless person sleeping in the lobby with no one at the desk. When I saw the police in the lobby due to the numerous car break-ins I asked the front desk worker about the homeless. She was aware he was in there, but was getting breakfast ready…. And couldn’t do everything. I asked the cops about the car break ins and he said it happens often in the area.

I'm sure some people have had issues here. Today, my room is beautiful and the staff is great. I think it has gotten a bad rap. My experience has been great.....besides the restaurant.

The general manager of this hotel was very kind and helpful, but she acknowledged that there were ongoing problems with training housekeeping staff. Sadly, this was reflected in the cleanliness and availability of essentials in the two suites we stayed in. The first room we were given was spacious but the bathroom floors had not been cleaned properly, and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We were immediately given a different suite which was cleaner but had dishes in the dishwasher again. There were no linens for the pullout or enough towels for four guests. We called the front desk for extra towels, and we were informed that they “were out of towels.” We had to get those items from our old room. As long time Hilton Honors members, we expected better amenities from Homewood Suites, and we will not be staying here again.

Not the cleanest of hotels. No attention to detail and very poor customer service by specifically Robles and Pablo. I dont know if i spelled their names right because they were so rude they told me to “figure it out” lol. My suggestion as a guest… avoid front desk as much as possible. My suggestion to management… do better, train better and set higher expectations from your staff.

By far the worst hotel I have stayed in . Something is always broken Tv , sink heat etc. if it wasn't for the fact that my company pays for my stay I would not be here especially for the months that I've been here . You ask for housekeeping to come it never happens . I've been fighting with the thermostats for heat it's stuck on 71 and I'm anemic I was told by the young man working the desk that he does not have a degree in HVAC so he doesn't know . Said they will move my room but I had already moved once due to issues . I understand all establishments are struggling with staff ! However after a month of staying here you would think things would get better . But it just keeps getting worst . However I must give credit to a pleasant woman that I interact with when checking in she always has a smile , very engaging with the customers and always well dressed . Not sure if she is management or not however I think she does an amazing job . I hope this establishment finds more like her .. This location needs it !!

My party of 4 arrived after 5 pm after a day of travel and shopping at Easton. We were told our room was not ready. After we inquired as to why it was not ready when it was 2 hours past check in time we got a flimsy excuse about housekeeping staff. The clerk then informed us she found us and "upgrade" and we were given the keys to a filthy room! Customer service was definitely lacking!Breakfast attendant

We did not even stay and I would never recommend this place. We had to cancel and this was back in September. Called numerous times to avoid getting a cancelation fee. They transferred from person to person with no help. Just got another fee on my credit card. Sent emails as well. No response. Highly
