In late July of this year, 2024 I took my 2013 Subaru in to diagnose just how much oil my engine was leaking. They diagnosed multiple leaks externally and internally but the largest leak came from the oil pan and so I elected to have an oil pan gasket replaced. They did come down on price by a little but it was expensive for an oil pan gasket replacement.
Upon picking up the vehicle a week later, the check engine light was and codes p0031 and p0037 were displayed. The oil pump was also making noise and when I drove the vehicle a flapping sound could be heard. Aaron told me my engine was failing however, when I got to work I noticed my O2 sensor was not only unplugged but damaged. (See picture) This corresponds to the aforementioned check engine codes. Aaron also tried to tell me that because of the supposed engine failure and the amount of miles, I should get a new car. This is a dirty trick to sell and push out used vehicles.
I took the vehicle to Byers Subaru in Dublin who diagnosed the flapping sound as the catalytic converter is damaged and potentially has a hole in it. Since the catalytic converter must be removed to access and remove the oil pan gasket, the technicians at Germain Subaru did not properly reinstall the catalytic converter damaging it as a result. Cody has denied this and has not been cooperative in getting a partial refund or compensating Byers to correct the damage.
Due to the kind of business practices this dealership is conducting, in an effort to sell cars, I highly recommend avoiding taking your Subaru here for service.
The only good thing about this story was the waiver of their diagnostic fee and allowing me to drive a loaner for free. Because of this I gave two stars rather than one.

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND BUYING A HOT WHEELS CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. I do not recommend this dealership. The salesman Aaron was pretty good and took pretty good care of us. One of the issues is we showed up 5 minutes before the dealership opened and we knew the vehicle that we wanted to purchase. We test drove it within 35 minutes but it still took 4 and 1/2 hours to complete the purchase. Another issue was while we were sitting in the vehicle going over a few things and talking about the repairs that they needed to do The air conditioner was not working. I mentioned this to the salesman who mentioned it to the sales manager. This sales manager drove the car from its spot in front of the dealership back around to the parts department and made the decision on his own that the AC started blowing cool air again after it wasn't sitting anymore and it didn't need to be repaired. My family and I left for vacation a few days later and I recognize that the AC was not working So when we returned I called the dealership spoke to my salesman and he said that he would forward this to his manager. A few hours later I was called back by the finance manager who first called me a liar and said that if I had a complaint about the vehicle they wouldn't not look at it. When I expressed to him that I had the work order and the manager crossed out getting the AC repaired he said that he would look into it and call me back. It is now been over a month and I have yet to receive a call back nor has anyone returned my calls. I suggest you go anywhere but this dealership to buy any vehicle new or used.

Jamal and the entire team at Germain Subaru of Columbus were top-notch. Jamal is a consummate professional who knows cars and follows up on everything. He listened to my list of wants and pointed out the features of each car we test-drove and how they would meet or not meet my needs. I felt no pressure, just a positive presence there to guide my decision. He led me toward a great car (Subaru Outback Onyx) that I am delighted with.

Great experience start to finish. Aaron was a great salesmen. He helped get the model and color I wanted quickly and kept me updated along the way. No pressure from the finance manager, Matt, which was appreciated. Love my new Subaru!!!

Aaron L in service/ repairs was great. He was honest, direct, and transparent about what was going on with my car. He was fair on price as well. Sometimes dealerships aren’t as trustworthy for service and prices are higher, but Aaron made us feel very comfortable with the process.
