When I first came to this firm about 8 years ago, I had a lot of individual stock purchases as well as business expenses to declare. Kevin Burnett logged and analyzed the stock purchases and made sense of them. (Thank you, Kevin!) He helped me decide what business expenses I could declare and at what percentage. His guidance has helped me grow my business by allowing me to legitimately save money on taxes while also preparing for its future growth.
Kevin is a relaxed, always-helpful guy who shows great patience with a client who doesn't get my tax information to him in a timely manner. I've missed the April 15th deadline many times, and Kevin automatically handles my extension. He is professional, honest, and ready to offer advice throughout the year when I need it to make business and personal decisions related to taxes.
Honest, friendly, professional, knowledgeable: this firm has all these qualities you look for in an accounting firm. I highly recommend this firm.

I've worked with Jeff at Harris, Burnett, & Schmiesing over the last several years to handle my taxes. If you like having a one-on-one personal experience with your accountant, you'll get exactly that with these guys. They not only make you feel like you matter as a person, rather than just another number coming through their doors, they truly care about the work they do. They make the tax season bearable by taking care of everything and you know where you stand by the April 15th deadline!
