A man named Tom in Columbus was very rude. I highly recommend other locations like vandelia Admar and h&e. Go anywhere else please do yourself a favor this place is toxic.

So, my company started renting from this place and they make all these promises and kiss the ground you walk on in the beginning. Then you get the equipment and the stuff be broken, it runs for a few hours then it dies. Waiting on a mechanic for 6 groups if he even shows up same day, one time trent(their field service guy) didn’t show up for two days. Then he doesn’t know anything on how to work and fix it he has to call the manufacturer which takes hours so in the mean time the manager wouldn’t even credit my account or Bring me another lift. Such a joke don’t even bother with this place. Go to UR or H&E so much better service.

Great company! From top to bottom. Equipment is new and in great working shape. Staff is helpful and friendly, able to meet last min request. Highly recommend.

So this could be a good company, but the Columbus Ohio branch needs a lot of help it has a horrible management team who talk down to you, more or less it’s a very hostile work environment. I brought it up to my direct manager and the Gm and we had zoom meetings just telling me to drop it and let it go over and over. So I was terminated for using the open door policy, in the almost 3 years I was there they lost some of the best employees due to the branch manager and refuse to do anything about it. I saw another comment that said they charge customers for damage not done by them and that is a true statement, they also add fuel bills to customers when equipment comes back full. I hate to be the guy to post this but I busted my butt for this company and brought in lots of business and was thrown away like trash over a horrible branch manager. Also the only good reviews on here are from employees and there family’s.

I was a driver for the Columbus Ohio branch the employees was decent to work with the management there is horrible will talk about the employees back very 2 faced talks to guys in shop like crap will try to rip off contractors saying machine came back damaged was the absolutely worse place ever worked at with management glad to move on to better job have been kicked out of better places ?

I love working with GM. I have had no issues like I have with sunbelt rentals in the past. I always get fast responses and equipment on a job site in a timely manner. When there are mistakes on the invoice they are quick to fix the problem.

Stop! Do not use this company.Once they have your credit card the charges do not stop. Agree with previous review, disagree with them and they reference rental agreement to summarize you don't agree with us,come on Elk County Pennsylvania and we can go to court there. Really? What a joke.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Their terms and conditions have been updated as they are very litigious to have any disagreements held in their small town court located in rural Pennsylvania. A contractor we do business with is experiencing this firsthand. Drive 6 hours to defend yourself/company in court for a baseless claim. No disagreement will be handled locally, they steamroll you into paying them off - complete shakedown - many other more established reputable companies in town.

Gene is awesome. I called early in the morning stressing I needed a 60ft lift. They got it to me without a problem and it made my Friday absolutely awesome. Will definitely be using GM equipment rental again when ever I need something. Sunwho?? lost me for good . Thanks again Gene
