I waited until 4pm for an expected call from The Furniture Bank to give me a time they were coming to pick-up furniture I planned to donate. So I called to see if they were even coming and confirm a time, if they were. The woman who answered extention 3, said all calls for pickups have been confirmed. I repeated that no one called me and I scheduled this pick up a week ago, and was told Wed they would call with the time for pick-up for Thurs. So she placed me on hold for a few seconds and then said , "You were left a message that we're coming between 8:30am and 10:30am." I said no one called or left a message. Well I'm telling you now! I asked her for her name and she hung the phone up in my face instead. I'm pretty sure that she was the person responsible for calling donators to give pick-up times and was too lazy to do her job, so she just lied and said it was done. This was my first time trying to donate items to the organization, but I'd rather throw it in the dumpster, I'm moving out of state and don't have time to set this up with Goodwill. Next time I will chose Goodwill from the start.

My pick up was from 1 to 4. The guys came around 10:30 did not give me a chance to drag everything out. The tall guy was a bit of an asshole and rolled his eyes and made faces. He did not want to take all the items i had on my list for them to take so I still have 1/2 of the items. Then he said for the items they did not take that I could pay him and his buddy 20.00 to set it in the alley....um no because i still have to have it hauled away from the alley. The next time I need to get rid of items in my house I will just throw them away. I just thought i was doing a good gesture.

Riiight!!! What is your definition of calling soon? I've heard the only way for your company to pick up donations is to pay/bribe the drivers

Andre and Osman showed up in a timely manner. They were friendly and very professional, as they were cautious in removing furniture from upper and lower levels of my home. It was a pleasurable experience and I will continue with future donations.

Moving to a new house and had furniture to donate. Furniture Bank gave us a 3 hour window to pick up and I took off work to be available. Toward the end of our window they had not arrived so my wife called and was told we were the next stop. She clocked out of work to relieve me and waited another 90 minutes. No show/no call. I do not recommend using this organization.

Never called me back after I left three messages with three different people. Finally filled out online form, then had to wait for an email, which said they'd call within 5 business days. They did not call. When I tried replying to their email they emailed that they left me phone messages, which they never did! Plus you have to pay them for the privilege of donating your furniture! Gave up and scheduled with Salvation Army, which was free, easy to contact online, and immediately gave me a pickup date. Furniture Bank needs a complete overhaul of their convoluted process, and maybe their phones, which must leave invisible messages.

Do NOT use this place. The workers who showed up to my family member stole her wallet out of her purse while taking her furniture!!!!! She has left multiple voicemails and they are not responding. Imagine the stress of moving and then also having to call your banks and cards and DMV to get your stuff canceled

Had driver Joey drop off tons of much needed furniture. Was even kind enough to help me unload it into the garage. Very positive and helpful. The furniture is pretty nice too. If you have reservations it's understandable but I think you will be happy with the service offered

Do not use this organization, your furniture is better off at the dump. They gave me a 3 hour window that them missed by 1.5 hours late. They mentioned getting a tip before they even touched any furniture. They literally thew the items into the truck, scrapping them across the floor. This was a very expensive Amish built, solid wood dinning room set. It's funny how particular they are about what they will take when they treat items like trash.

Supposed to pick up old furniture today. They request a $50 donation(totally understandable). Guys show up and there was a small tear in the one sectional. He said they can’t take it. Suggested either bulk pickup and they’ll put in the garage for a “tip”. He also mentioned they would dispose for $50/piece. They took 2 tables while my wife and I were discussing what we wanted to do. They left the front door open and when I went outside 5 minutes later they had just left. Didn’t say they were leaving and never received confirmation from us what we decided. We never “donated” for the pieces they did take before they left unannounced. For a “charitable” organization they are highly unprofessional. I certainly wouldn’t recommend their services for a “donation” again.
