Not worth the money. Trash piled everywhere because they put a fence around the garbage bins and trash compactor doesn’t work, constant emails about various issues, garage/parking is a mess.

Please be wary of the 5 star reviews--I've read them and they seem fake...Rent at OWN RISK. After one year they attempted to increase my rent by $230/month. It wasn't until enough residents complained they were more reasonable (still increased my rent by 10.9% after on year but better than 18% I guess??).
Have "valet trash" so hallways smell like garbage almost every evening. New policy coming in place where guests can't stay over with parking without being charged exorbitant parking prices. Utilities is a scam, electric company charges me $150-180 for smallest one bedroom unit.
They will only continue to increase their prices by staggering intervals, be warned.

Currently living in Founders Apartments. STAY AWAY. This place will nickel and dime you at every turn. Most recently, they incorporated ParkMobile to the first floor to ensure that your guests have no free parking. They use Nationwide Energy Partners for utilities so your electric bill is easily $150 a month with just your refrigerator running. There was a series of break-ins in the garage but also in the apartments and they did not provide warnings to neighbors. Management does not listen because it's a corporation with layers and layers of employees, like a huge bureaucracy. The waste management "service" is so finicky and hampered by rules, there's basically no recycling. Aside from the pet-friendly status and decent location, there is nothing else going for this place and it's only going to get worse.

I’ve lived here for 18 months. I really have no complaints. All public hallways and common areas are always kept very clean. Every maintenance request i have submitted has been responded to with Someone in my apartment within a day or so, even when it’s something small like the microwave light being out. The issues with garage safety and prices have all been well responded to by maintenance, they both lowered the parking prices and installed a new gate and security to address the break ins. I’ve truly loved living here and have recommended several of my friends to also live here

Founders is great, the location and apartments are perfect. The maintenance team team is timely and has always come within 24 hours of putting in a request. The only downside is the cost of parking.

Great place for the price. The maintenance staff is always incredibly responsive to any issues in your apartment, and the security is great on the upper floors (sometimes a little too great if you forget your phone).The only issue I have is that I wish the ButterflyMX for the garage had all tenants in it. Currently, only residents in the 5th ave building have access to that ButterflyMX, all other residents must use Brivo to access that door. Minor inconvenience, but that means that visiting friends & family cannot be given access keys for the parking garage unless you live in that building. If you live in the Perry Building, they must walk all the way around to Perry street for the access key to work on that ButterflyMX.

Founders is a great, safe place to live with the best amenities. They’re actively working to make the garage more secure and have made changes based on what residents want.

Founders is one of the best places that I have lived in Columbus. The amenities/pool are great, the maintenance team is fast and responsive, and the staff have been prompt and helpful. Living above a coffee shop and gym is also a huge plus!

We have lived here for about 8 months now and we have loved it. The staff is always responsive about concerns and make efforts to assure comfort and safety. They quickly answer maintenance requests and are always helpful. I love the events the complex holds, we have had a fun time getting to know our neighbors and enjoying fun activities.

Comfortable apartments in a convenient location. Despite recent issues regarding garage security, the team has been responsive and responsible to making changes to enhance the security of the place!

I like the safety of the buildings only being Bluetooth accessible. The front desk staff and maintenance are always willing to help and go above and beyond for the residents.
