This is a horrible place to ever get insurance from. BEWARE go to another insurance company. These folks are out of step with their customers. They will not help you. Again BEWARE of Erie Insurance. Proceed at your own RISK!!!!! You will find out if you decide to work with this place. A bunch of disgusting human beings that work here especially there branch manger Mike Phillips!!!!!

I wish anyone luck with Erie Insurance. After an auto accident 2 weeks ago that their insured was cited for on site, I am still sitting with no car and no action on their part. I sent them the police report that I paid to get online, I was told they had called and left me a voice mail when I could clearly look at my received calls on my cell and see I had received NO calls from them, and now they are still delaying on taking any action because they have to determine liability. I thought the state trooper clearly determined liability and verified it with another state trooper in the publicly available report. My car has been sitting at a tow lot disabled from the accident. No adjuster has gone to look at it and now they are telling me to file with my own insurance and subrogate. Highly do NOT recommend them as your insurance carrier.

Way overpriced and they barely want to cover for what you paid for. Every person I know says they hate this insurance company. Every month they will raise the bill on you without notice. This insurance company is scamming their clients first hand boldly infront of your face. Save your money and time. they will waste both of it if u give them any.

Worst insurance company I’ve ever had. They raised our rates multiple times without any notice and when we contacted them they tried to gaslight us and say they contacted us before the increase. Because they put us through all of that for several months, we decided not to renew our policy and even called in to cancel. It’s been 3 months since then and we are still being charged $192 every month. I’ve asked them to stop charging me and revoked their authorization to auto pay from my account but they continue to pull money out. Now I’ve just found out that they sent me to collections for not renewing my renters insurance. They are literally charging me for time I wasn’t covered because the policy had been cancelled months ago. DO NOT get a policy with them. Just get a price match from a better company.

Worst service. I have roof damage from a storm in March. It's now June. They keep blaming a outside company for not honoring my claim. My name is on the policy and so is Erie. Not some outside company in Georgia. Avoid Erie insurance they are as bad as a snake oil sales man.

I am currently having the worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company. I believe their agent, Dwayne Poole, is actively trying to cheat us. He won't let us know if he received any of our emails. He says it doesn't matter. I asked why he couldn't answer a simple question honestly, he hung up and won't answer my calls. I didn't raise my voice or curse. My wife has asked him several times about the emails and he won't answer. Hard to trust a guy to be fair and honest when he can't be honest about his emails.I will update when this gets resolved.tl;dr Don't trust Erie insurance and Dwayne Poole. In response to the owner, I have emailed and sat on hold. Maybe try Dwayne Poole. How many Camerlengo's is he dealing with right now?

Erie is a 6 star insurance company in my opinion. I hit a deer and within 2 days I had an adjuster at my home and within 3 days they settled with me and supplied me with a rental. This is the best experience I've had with an insurance company. I'm 69 years old and have been involved with at least 5 companies in my lifetime. Every and anyone should consider doing business with this company.

Do not come here. 0 stars if it was possible. We had an accident that we were told would be fully covered by the other party and Erie fought them on replacing our car. We called and left multiple messages for Derrika and we never heard back from them. The party at faults company was more helpful than Erie throughout the entire process. Erie used a third party company to assess damage and if you have Saat, I recommend you request another employee as he was as unhelpful as Worthingtons Erie branch. We have since then switched to State Farm and it has been a completely different world!

Just received a letter from Erie whom we have been with since the 1980s that our rates went up from $35 a month to $598 a month because of my husband getting ready to turn 70. When we applied for this insurance we knew when my husband got older that The policy amount of $100,000 would go down that is what we thought that it would go down to about 70,000 but instead they hiked up the rate so high there's no normal human being unless you're filthy rich could afford to pay that. I am enclosing a copy of the letter. Now my husband has absolutely no life insurance nothing to even bury him with. This did not happen at the office that's listed here it happened through another insurance representative. This man knew exactly what this insurance was going to do when we got older and it was his responsibility to explain it to us. Like anybody else we just signed the papers and stuck them in our file cabinet and I blame us for that. Watch the insurance companies because they are not telling the people the truth they're just out for themselves.

This company is not what it appears to be. I had an account with Erie insurance through Highfield insurance in Westerville. I kept questioning my premium because it never reduced year after year on a 10-year-old vehicle that was paid off. After many, many phone calls and getting tidbits of information from each call and finally putting it all together I realized they had placed me on a rate lock program which would never reduce my premium. I was never asked if I wanted to be on this program and I was never told that I was on the program. This cost me over $200 per year more than I should have been paying. What brought about the revelation of what was happening is I put in a change of address in 2018 and my bill kept going to my old address. I called several times with the change of address but it was never updated. The reason it was never updated is if they would have put in my new address it would have reevaluated the program and my premium would have reduced over $200 per year. I have contacted the district manager and the corporate executives only to have to listen to excuses and more excuses and being transferred and transferred and transferred some more. Absolutely no honor, no accountability, no honesty and no help whatsoever. My next step is to file a complaint with the insurance commission / department for the state of Ohio. Erie Insurance is not a company of Honor or integrity.
