It is one of only a very few number of convenience type stores in downtown Columbus, I guess those in charge feel we need more overpriced restaurants and boutiques or bars. But this location was good when they first opened. But then... Aside from their price scandal, they're constantly out of a lot of things. Last fall they had to close for almost two weeks to hire and stock the store. I can't tell you how many times I've gone there knowing they're open til 10 only to find a locked door with some scrawled out "closed" on receipt paper. Then there's the whole leave your bag upfront, which I've noticed doesn't apply to every customer, but being a black male you know I'm asked Everytime. The store is much less a convenience these days and survives out of pure circumstance. Some of the staff are really great but you have others that I've told if you don't like your job, that's fine but you being rude when I'm not is just a personality flaw so really maybe what it is is that you're actually just not qualified since you're incapable of being rude in a customer service position.

Don’t come here! They always close early, the shelves/stock are a mess, and the manager does nothing about it. It would be nice if the only convenience store in this area were reliable.Unfortunately there is no alternative within walking distance, but if possible I recommend taking your business elsewhere so they can either learn their lesson or close and be replaced with something better

I cannot believe this is the store they put downtown on freaking High st. Literally the mose useless store in Ohio. The management is horrible, the products are even worse, and thats if you catch them when they are supposed to be open. Yall should actually be ashamed with this trash excuse for a store. I will never ever ever shop here please leave downtown

Reviews are somewhat accurate. This store has some bare minimum necessities, but otherwise the shelves are mostly empty and the selection is very limited. Many of the groceries that are in-stock are expired, so check before buying.Checkout worker/owner was friendly though, and prices were totally reasonable. It's not a full-on grocery store or market; just lower your expectations.

I don't know what happened to this location. For the last few months the store has always been messy, understocked, with boxes littering the floors, and closing up at random hours well before their closing time (5pm instead of at 10pm, their actual closing time). Please start offering livable wages to your employees so the store can go back to operating how it should.

The posted store hours on Google haven't been right for months now. I've also walked up in the middle of the day to find a closed sign with workers clearly sitting inside.

Please post and update your store hours. It says on Google that they are open until 10pm I walked 20 minutes to get here and the door is locked at 5:30pm. No hours posted on the door either.

As others have stated when this first opened it was a lot better and more stocked. However because i myself have contracted thru another company to work at Dollar general stores(not this particular one tho ) i know from that experience that they rely on a 3rd party contracting to set up most of their store and the employees of dollar general, which is the employer of this store as well. the employees have told me that they are expected to run register and stock store which is A LOt and they don’t make enough money. And probably all the stealing is directly gonna effect there profit so that is probably why shelves are empty like most stores but they have nothing anymore. no produce, i had to get tp out of the case they had taking up the isle. staff is rude most of them & they close at 4 or 5 and it says 10 and it’s not just one night it’s everyday now! I have to go farther to kroger. it’s depressing and wish i took pics but i will update!

Not sure what happened! This place used to be super well-stocked and organized. Now there is hardly anything stocked, ever. It's really a shame because this is a super convenient/helpful location for Downtown offices and residents. If it was how it used to be I'd go every day and I'd imagine I'm not the only one. The employees are kind, though. I just really hope this place turns back around because it is really an asset to the community.

The past several months this place has been in shambles every time I stop by, but at least the staff were nice. Often out of almost everything yet carts and boxes full of merchandise are packed into open spaces and line the outer walls. It seems the deterioration has hit an ultimate low, as earlier this week they were closed with a note on the door due to staffing. At minimum, Pay your staff a livable wage, and actually show up. Especially if you're going to drive the CVS -with a pharmacy- out of business. If my staff are sick, I'm the one to be there. It's not rocket science. You've a monopoly on walkable convenience and you're squandering it. What a joke!

All of the shelves are empty and it looks like the place is going out of business... But, it is not... I can see that there are hundreds (not an exaggeration) of boxes of items that just need to be unpacked on to the shelves, but they just don't. Instead the employees all gather up front behind the registers and play on their phones. They must pay their employees very little because there is always a fresh batch of employees standing around doing the least amount possible. Now that there is self check out they don't even acknowledge that you exist. If they hired just one responsible person to open the boxes and stock the shelves they would probably make a fortune as this is the only place to buy groceries downtown. A year ago this place was well stocked and staffed, now it is empty, bare shelved and under staffed. I originally gave this place a five star review, but I am changing it to a one star.

Wonderful, the employees were very helpful. The store was clean and well stocked with a bit of a mess in the parking lot. It was the ideal store for family oriented visits.
