Went here for a two tires I was having issues with one had a screw and the other wouldn’t hold air and had a small leak. They said I needed a whole new set of tires and they need replaced. Well I did not inform them that I had certificates / warranty on the old tires that were on the vehicle that they sold me from before. They tried to play games and not honor the warranty that they push on you and ended up covering two tires and charging me for other two but only when I asked to talk to the corporate office. Very shady unfortunately I thought I liked Discount tire and this Will probably be my last set of tires!
Three weeks went by and one of my hub caps was missing I called and them about it and he said at first there was nothing they could do. Which I complained and he said he would order me a new hub cap and we will split the cost which was like around $35.00 which I said let’s do it. Once it came in they tried to charge me the full price which I refused and left it there. So if you want the run the around and if you like wasting your time then I recommend this location. they are not about making things right nor do they care about the customer! and you will have to argue with them to get your warranty to work!

I witnessed them misusing customer cars for example 392 charger and jeeps. Techs are too young to be responsible. They said they knew how to drive manual when I brought my car in and they did NOT! My clutch is now ticking and clicking. I saw them stall 5 times and it was already high mileage but it has a brand new clutch. Don’t recommend unless they let yourself drive the car onto the lift. Other than that they aligned my car well. Just a misuse of customer vehicles. Do not appreciate it.

Plan on staying an hour or more than the projected time to get the job done.

had an alignment done here and my tire rod bushings were blown and steering rack boot was wrapped around itself but they didn’t tell me. led to catastrophic failure on the highway.

Having to call ahead instead of being able to book an alignment is wild. I called, I was told I could not make a reservation but could come in before they close. I showed up and was told that while they close at 6 my wait would be until 9pm. Needless to say I went elsewhere and was in and out in under an hour.

This experience was over several years. I bought RIMs and TIREs from the Discount Tire at 6959 E. Broad St. When they were first installed I couldn't believe the amount of weights they had to add to each rim. Again these are brand new tires and rims and they claimed this was normal. I brought the car in to have them rotated and rebalanced after 20k miles which was four years from the purchase date. After the rotation I brought it back in because they road horrible. They told me everything was fine and I should take my car to a mechanic. I told them, the only thing that's been done are my tires rotated. So I put up with this horrible ride trying to get some of my $1200 out of my purchase. I now got a slow leak in one of my tires and I brought them in. Now they will not fix the leak because my 60k miles tires that have 27k miles on them don't have enough tread life. And because they are older than five years they will not warranty the tire. They said if I have a problem with it I have to contact the tire manufacture. I reminded them I purchased the tires from them and not directly from the manufacture. There are WAY too many options for tire purchases to deal with a company like this. I would definitely recommend going to a business that stands behind the products THEY SELL. They blew me off on my first two problems and they didn't think twice of blowing me off on my third and final problem.

It was an unfortunate experience, had a problem with my wheel after an accident. Received the estimate from Discount Tire and decided to have it fixed. Asked my insurance to take a look at the car so I could save some money and the insurance estimate for the job was half of the price. I went with the insurance advice and decided not to do everything that Discount Tire recommended. Just fixed the wheel and kept the tire even though the manager insisted that the tire was not good. Picked up the car, the tire pressure sign was on and I thought to myself that maybe I should have changed the tire as well. However I checked the the tire pressure several times in the next 2 days and it was ok, for all 4 tires. Took my car to a shop to check my tires on a Sunday, I was really concerned to drive the car. I was told that the problem was with the sensor, I had never had any problem before with the sensor. Took the car to a dealer, they fixed the sensor. No problems so far with the tire. I did also a full inspection on my car just to make sure that nothing else had been compromised and I could drive my car safely. I definitely don’t trust that store, will never take my car over there again.

Sorry, but $200 for one wheel on a 2006 ford isn’t a discount.

Chose my tires online based upon prior knowledge. I ordered the tires. I was informed via online about the shipping status of my tires. I was called about my tires arriving before my intended appointment. I arrived on my scheduled appointment day. I was greeted, we got the miles off the vehicle. I was told how long my expected wait should be. I grabbed a coffee and did some paperwork while I waited. I was able to observe the progress through the large glass windows. I noticed the tires being installed were not the tires I ordered. They corrected the issue after verifying. I had them check and repair the alignment while I was at the shop. Everyone that I interacted with was fairly pleasant.

Not typically something I wish to do, however, considering the nature of this situation the only thing I can think to do is to warn others. I will never be purchasing tires from this nor any Discount Tire ever again. I have worked with cars most of my life, however, unfortunately tires were at the time of my purchase not something I had dove into yet. That said, I was pretty ignorant to how things worked. This location took advantage of that fact. They sold me light duty truck tires for my Jeep and not the right kind for this model let alone the driving conditions I’d endure.
How do I know this? A mere two years later they’ve warped in a horrific manner and a lovely individual at Good Year pointed out these tires have no business being on my vehicle. That I was lucky they didn’t create other issues. I paid over $885.00 for those, they should have been excellent for that and certainly should have lasted a lot longer than two years. This did not include installation mind you. Not a single person there had the mind to offer the install. They loaded the new tires in my SUV, waved me off and that was the extent of it. Besides the premature wear, they were horrifically loud. Every time I drove it I could barely hear my passengers or the radio.
No it wasn’t anything to do with the HUB assemblies, yes I made certain to keep up with rotation, alignment and suspension. This vehicle is well taken care of. The tires simply weren’t designed for this particular model. Now I have to drop $550.00 on a new set because someone was more interested in upselling and taking advantage of someone that didn’t know better. I was assured by Good Year that the ones they recommended are what actually belongs to the model Jeep I drive. They are more than perfect for our winters, capable of off-roading should I even be interested and are more than durable to hold up for general every day driving. ( I did my research as well this time.) Something that should have been the interest of this shop from the get go.
The moral of the story? Do your research on what your car actually needs before you trust a single sale’s floor associate here. They’re clearly out to hit their commission rates rather than have any interest in assisting people. They couldn’t care less about the risk of ruining your vehicle and they certainly have no interest in conducting the labor it takes to install them. Seems another customer in their reviews ran into a similar issue of being dismissed when it came to installation. Think I’ll personally be sticking to Good Year going forward. Clearly they have more motive to do right by people.

Great people will work with you on any situation.....but I'm confused on why they take appointments. I had an appointment for 10:30. And waited an hour and a half before my car was in the bays. After watching multiple cars come and go in the bays. They take walk inside and its first come first serve. But holy moly don't set appointments up if you are working on multiple other cars after my appointment time. Just tell customers to come in on and its first come first serve. This is very annoying to watch other cars go in the bay after my appointment time

So, I have to say that although the experience wasn't perfect. They stood behind getting it right, after my tires were installed i had some shaking. They took it back in several time until they got it right. If you have experienced a problem please understand They are people also and will work to get it resolved.

Back in May of 2024, we came to the E Broad St location to put four brand new Falken tires on our main vehicle along with two other tires put on our secondary vehicle. Three months later, the passenger front tire went flat while we were on the highway. We pulled over to discover that the base of the tire pressure valve was torn, seeping air out of the tire. We took it to E Broad St location, and they replaced the tire under the warranty, to which we ended up paying $30 more for the warranty on the new tire...
Fast forward to yesterday afternoon: while driving on the highway, another tire goes flat for the exact same reason! Calling the shop, I explained that I'd like to replace the tire pressure valves with metal ones instead of rubber. The associate, Davion, tells me that we would need to purchase sensors to go with them that would cost $50 a piece! I tell the manager Joseph about my issues and greivances, and he basically tells me that they can't do anything more to help and refused to provide any kind of compensation for our troubles, even after I explained my safety concerns with these brand new tires that we spent over $1K for!!!
We ended up calling the Lancaster location and received excellent, courteous service! We didn't need sensors for our tires like the E Broad St store told us, and they did all the work needed at no charge. What the rep there told us that the pulling of the valves during installation could have contributed to the tearing of the valves after they were installed. We will be going the Lancaster location from now on! Beware of the E Broad St location!!!

I bring a fleet of company trucks and trailers here and have for years. I’ve recommended this place to dozen of our customers over the years. This place is worthless anymore. I literally spend $1000s a year here and will not be returning and will no longer refer customers to them.
I have a set of tires that were bought and paid for from them on one of the company trucks. We brought in the same exact tires from one of the company trucks we sold. Tires are like new. Same tires they sold us they refuse to mount and balance them because they “don’t meet the load index.” Which makes zero sense considering they order and installed multiple sets of these across several of our company trucks. To make matters worse I have their “lifetime” replacement tpms sensors on the truck. All of them are no longer working. I was told if I ever had an issue with them they would be replaced free of charge. They refuse to touch them now. So much for that lifetime warranty.
I literally just referred my neighbor to them a few weeks ago. Guess what, they installed different load rated tires on his truck. Unbelievable!
A bigger question is did you install multiple sets of improperly load rates tires on a fleet of company trucks or did you want to go home because it was Friday and a little over 1hr before close. You definitely made a huge mistake telling this customer to politely go away…

On September 24 I brought my car into the garage due to issues with my tire .. the service I received was horrible and unprofessional. After they pretended to look under my car and my tire they said it was the Honda emblem cap on the wheel that was making the noise , put a new one on but didn’t stop the noise, they did an alignment test on it and they told me that it needed aligned . I believe they were just saying that to make a quick 100 bucks . The people who work at the broad street location are a bunch of kids that have no experience in dealing with customers vehicles. One of the employees were dancing in the garage like it was a party instead of his job . Will be finding another discount tire for my vehicle needs . I would not recommend this location to friends and family due to lack of experience from the kids that work there.
