After turning 50 my body started getting sore spots. I went to Chris to work on my shoulder specifically and within one month the pain was gone. I've never worked with a personal trainer before, and Chris's semi-private classes are perfect. They make it affordable and it's fun to be around other folks working out. It's a happy and encouraging environment, and Chris really knows what he's doing. He works with all different ages and body types, from the super fit to old fogies like me. He comes up with a personal plan for each individual that really works. Highly recommend!

I did Chris’s workouts all quarantine and they kicked my butt!! He provides multiple options based on your comfort level and carefully walks through correct form to ensure great results. I have gotten a lot stronger and noticed changes in my energy level as well. Highly recommend this gym and trainer!!

I have worked out since I was about 14 and have always enjoyed doing isolation workouts. Chris attacks things with functional movements while keeping your heart rate high. My back, knees and shoulders have not felt this good in years. My cardiovascular endurance has changed drastically over the last 3 months.

Complete Fitness & Performance is an excellent place to learn about fitness. The owner, also named Chris, is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about helping his clients progress toward their goals. He not only writes varied workouts that keep sessions fun, but he also helped me with routines for my normal gym outside of training sessions. Thanks to Chris I feel much more comfortable at the gym because I don't have to worry about hurting myself with poor form. I opted for the group training, but one-on-one is also available. The groups were small and all of the other clients were very friendly.

Incredible place to get a personalized workout. When I started going a few years ago, to be honest I was so embarrassed of how I looked. I felt like a Boulder was always on my shoulders and I’ll never lose the weight. With time, patiences and his workout plan. I lost 40lbs and found myself again. It wasn’t just the workout but the encouragement to continue on and he understood we have bad days and weeks. But he never gives up on you. He’s become more than a trainer, but someone whom I value so much in my life now. If you’re on the fence I encourage you to take a leap of faith and try him out. I promise it will be worth it!

CFP is a great place to work out! The people and environment made you feel motivated and focused. Chris created an individual goal and program for each of his clients, which made me feel like he actually cared about my progress, and wasn’t just putting my information into a system and shooting out a generic routine. Along with personal fitness, Chris also offered Saturday classes, which were my favorite! I left feeling stronger (and sweatier) than when I arrived. If you are looking for a great personal trainer, I 100% recommend Chris!

Wow, there just some things in life I’ve allowed myself to put off. Health being one of them. I allowed myself to live in self pity, doubt, depression and overall “I’ll be better (health wise) tomorrow”. I started with Chris 4 years ago and haven’t looked back. I was scared out of my mind and ashamed of how I looked. In 4 years he didn’t just help transform my physical appearance but more of my awareness of food, helped me find the positive in life and not to mention just true self love of who I am. I won’t ever be a size zero, but I can look, feel and be confident in journey ahead because of this place. It changed me, when I thought “me” wasn’t enough. Thank you CFP for the weight loss, positive mental change and never giving up when I felt weak. CFP is hands down one of the best gyms in Columbus. I've been training with the owner, Chris, for almost 5 years now and followed him when he opened his new place this year. The gym is a clean, open concept with all new equipment - definitely a motivating environment. And not only is the actual space awesome, but I can't say enough good things about Chris. He's not your stereotypical "trainer" - pushy or constantly trying to give you a sales pitch. He truly cares for the well being of each of this clients and tailors his approach to them. I whole-heartedly trust him and am confident that he knows what is best for me and my personal goals. In addition to personal training, he's also given me nutritional and dietary advice that has been a game changer. I was always so overwhelmed by the do's and don'ts when it comes to eating clean. Chris' approach is easy to understand and implement in your day to day life. This guy knows what he's doing, trust me! Whether you're working out for the first time or are experienced and trying to get to next, CFP is the right place for you.

I have worked with Chris for 5 years, he is the first trainer and diet coach that was able to help me finally build a lifestyle around fitness and healthy eating. I was over 300lbs when I first met him and he helped me reach my 220lb goal. Patient, persistent and able to work around some of my preexisting injuries, tough when needed, supportive always. I highly recommend CFP.
