If I'm being honest I thought I had a good experience but I told the individual I wanted my credit card to give me extra points on groceries and gas only to find Costco dosen't except Mastercard which I'm also upset about. ? Just dosent seem like my perks are much of a perk.

I have been a customer of the "University District" branch of Chase Bank for the past 41 years in spite of the fact that that bank has changed names twice since I had opened my account and in spite of the fact that branch has moved once since I had opened my account.During 1981, I opened my checking account at City National Bank at 1894 N. High St. [directly upstairs from Bernie's Bagels and Deli at 1896 North High St.]. At that time, I had worked at the former Long's Book Store, one block to the south, at 1836 N. High St.; at that time, the 1894 N. High St. location for City National Bank had been quite convenient for me.City National Bank later became Bank One; Bank One later became Chase Bank. At some point during the 41 years after I had opened my checking account, the bank at 1894 N. High St. moved to 1698 N. High St.Long's Book Store later closed or moved [depending on which version of the history you believe]; I later retired so I suddenly had very little reason to be in the "University District" neighborhood. The Chase Bank branch at the Kingsdale Shopping Center has become my "main" branch since retirement though I definitely have a far longer connection with the "University District" branch.Earlier today [10-27-2022], I had been eating at a restaurant [that I will not name here] near the OSU campus and had encountered a situation where my Chase Bank debit card had been declined four times in a row and then had worked the fifth time.So I walked two blocks north to the Chase Bank branch at 1698 N. High St. and met briefly with the branch manager [who remembers me from the Kingsdale branch of Chase Bank] who logged onto a website and was able to confirm -- within a few seconds -- that my debit card is fine.It is great to have such a long history with Chase Bank and its predecessors.

Went to make a business deposit and got turned away. Amber was completely unhelpful. She refused to take another form of ID except my driver license which she would accept. Wouldn’t accept a Valid florida Driving license. She said she couldn’t accept my passport (which is an US passport) or my military ID. Honestly worse bank I have ever worked with.

I don’t know why there’s so many poor reviews I got great service here! I just called today and Sarah and another gentleman (whose name started with a D, I feel so bad for forgetting…perhaps Damian or Darius?) both answered my questions so kindly and led me towards help. I got the info I needed and I’ll call back next time to this location since they’re so nice :)

I went in to transfer the title of a motorcycle from private seller to myself. Both of us sat in with the staff notary. Apparently, the highlighted areas on the title weren’t clear enough. We left out of there assuming everything was good to go. Alas, the title agency said I missed a spot and had to visit another notary with the seller AGAIN. I am an account holder and a banking professional myself. I Revisited the same notary because the seller lives in a different cit and shouldn’t have to come here. . The notary wouldn’t admit to any wrong doing. Client out of luck. My chase account is now closed.

I went to this branch yesterday to open my business account for my brand. I worked with Kalomo, and he made everything easy to understand and explained each aspect of the account, as well as any add-ons. It was a wonderful experience. I’m happy to have had someone so diligent and concise.
