I have taken my car here for a few years now and I cannot recommend them enough. Andy is fantastic! He explains the issues, is honest, and always looking to make sure I get the best deal possible. Chapin's Auto is the best car repair shop, hands down. Andy explains what repairs are needed and why, but also tells you when a repair isn't needed or can wait. We have been taking our cars here for over 10 years and will never go anywhere else. On top of his honesty and high-quality work, his prices are lower than other car mechanics. I came in for a wheel bearing replacement and they got my car back to me that day even after calling in on short notice. I had taken my car to another shop earlier in the day where they were wanting 3x more for the same work. I will be coming back here for their honesty and transparency

I went to Chapin’s because my regular mechanic was busy. Chapin’s auto answered their phone despite being busy, and I was able to receive a free diagnostic of the problem the same day. The service was polite and courteous, and they were honest about what was wrong with my car and how I can look out for future problems. I would definitely consider visiting this shop for future repairs and recommending them to family and friends.Services: Check engine light diagnostic

Andy was able to diagnose the problem with my car quite quickly (and didn't charge for the diagnosis!) and scheduled a time for the next day to fix it.
