Phone and online means of contacting service department are abysmal. Endless loops and without feedback if you have successfully got through.

I've never owned a Mazda nor have I leased before, but Byers Mazda provided me with a smooth new experience. Prior to going, I checked into their website and I was more comfortable paying their lease prices compared to other dealerships I looked into. My salesman Jacob Carver was really friendly and knowledgeable. He arranged me a great lease deal on a 2023 Mazda CX 5, and I was really impressed with everything about the car. Definitely a smooth process, and I'm a happy customer! They also have a sweet hot chocolate / coffee machine inside, so take advantage of that if you stop by!

Byers Mazda Service Center does not return phone calls or messages even when I used the Chat which indicated that they'd forward my service request to the Service Center. Even though this Mazda service center is much closer to me, I have driven across town to Germain Mazda where customer service is much better. Actual people answer their phones (not a machine), and I was scheduled for services immediately.

My daughter was looking for a used car and they treated us so well here, it felt like it was a new car experience. I am very impressed with their sales team from start to finish!

I have been a Byers-Mazda customer since 2012. I just traded in my 2018 Mazda 3 HB for an upgrade to a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. Leasing this time and John Bechtel was my sales person. He is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I always feel comfortable working with Mazda because I never feel like I'm being pushed by a sales rep or being lied to by service or being taken advantage of because I'm a woman. I appreciate their honesty, friendliness, knowledge, and transparency. I am on my third Mazda vehicle and my experience gets better each time! Thankful for my new ride and I hope I enjoy leasing this time. So far my new ride is everything I wanted and more :) Looking forward to seeing what Mazda has next for me in three years! Thanks again, John, Tim, and Ross!

Its been a while since I have purchased a car its always been a day long chore back and forth back and forth--not any more---being honest I have never been to a Mazda dealership in my life but the deal they had was to good to miss--- well taken care of by Mike would definitely recommend him and Mazda to anyone looking for a no pressure car buying experience.

I do not know how Byers Mazda stays in business. I had my wife call the dealership to make an appointment for our new Mazda CX9 Signature we had purchased in Indianapolis. She had to leave a message and no one returned her call..so yesterday I phoned to attempt to set a service appointment and left my call back information and still have not received the promised call back after a day. I'm trying to get the vision of what the service experience would have been had I been able to make an appointment. I even call back to leave a message for their general manager to only have the operator dump me back into their rotor. Called Germain Mazda at 1-855-607-5520 and was immediately taken care of by their service department and have my appointment. If I owned this business I would want to know how my phones were being staffed...an unbelievable experience and I advise you to stay away. I LIVE IN DUBLIN OH NOT CA

This is an experience that I cant know where to begin. Truly the worst experience I've ever had. Starts and ends with Tim Wadell. We have had to hire a lawyer and contact the BBB. The most frustrating part is I want to appropriately convey this experience to properly help future consumers understand the risk they take doing business here. Just read the other poor reviews. Here is the story, landed on a CX5 2020 signature black. Unfroze credit for weekend purchase. Ran credit

I had leased a Mazda6 from Byers and had a wonderful experience and loved the car which is what brought me back. I recently got a new CX-3 and I absolutely love it! It is the perfect car for me with enough space for all my canvases and other art stuff, and it drives just like my 6 did! John Bechtel was so helpful and made the experience easy and enjoyable. He stayed late just so I could test drive the CX-3 and then found me the best deal on it! I'm so thankful to everyone at Byers for getting me into another wonderful car and being so nice and helpful. I will always recommend Mazdas and Byers.

At the dealership yesterday looking at new Mazda 3 with for my son. Was outside for 20 min or so looking at several cars with family. Salesmen inside saw us and never came out to assist. Not impressed. Sales don't happen for lazy people.

I am so happy with my Grand Touring Mazda with automatic fold in mirrors for the inside of the Suv and the Automatic back gate. Super comfortable and drives extremely well. I appreciate the manager and my sales person who are very honest and reliable. Micheal O'Brien my sales person set up everything in the Suv and showed me how to work all the features in the Suv. They really go out of their way to help you.

A little over a year ago, I bought a 2015 Mazda 6 from Byers that had 39k mi. on it. A year later, it was due for its 2nd oil change. so I took it to Byers (coupon). When the car was finished, I was handed a paper saying my rear brakes needed urgent attn. At this point, the car had about 50k miles on it and I figured, if the rears were still the original pads, they could be worn out. Byers wanted about $480 to do the rear brakes. While I had the service man on the phone, I asked him, based on your diagnoses, and the fact that I drive about 12k miles a year, how soon should I get them fixed, his response was 'probably in the next month'. Grissmer Tire, (Wilson Rd Shop) which is about a mile from me, and where I've had work done on my previous car, said they would start with the pads, and, only if it needed rotors, would they change them. Total cost would be about $350. I made the appt. with Grissmer, and dropped the car off for the day. They called me 30 minutes later, said the car was ready for pickup. I went to get it, I said 'that was fast'. They said you don't need brakes at this time. Your pads have enough thickness left for at least a year based on your driving miles. I asked How much? They said 'No charge'.

Extremely unhappy with the service department. Went in for recall work to be completed yet was charged $150 for additional parts which were ‘required’ to be done to restore car back to running, even though car ran fine when I took it in! Noticed car making noises after this recall work was completed. Took it to my regular service shop and found that outer control arms for front wheels were replaced on the wrong sides! I was charged $55 for diagnostic from my shop and now car is headed back to Byers to correct. I don’t have any confidence in this repair shop to repair it now, but I’m left with no option. Extremely disappointed.

I recently bought my 2019 Mazda CX-5, and had a great experience with the salesperson Mike O'Brien. He was very professional, helpful, personable, and knowledge! I'm really enjoying my new car! Thank you.

The salesman, Mike O'Brien, quoted my wife and I a price for new 2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring Reserve. When we requested the quote in writing, Mike sent us an email that said "you must get the Service agreement in order for us to sell you the car for the price I gave you". The cost of the "service agreement" was an additional $2184! This is obviously an unethical business practice, and we strongly encourage potential customers to avoid Byers Mazda at all costs or be sorry later!!! They cannot be trusted, and we intend to advertise this on other social media as well as turn it over to the Better Business Bureau for further review!
