Won’t be returning to this location. I get there 15 mins before my pick up and 2 hours after the location has opened, and the door is locked and no one is on site. I had to call corporate and they reached out to the location and finally about 30 mins later someone showed up. I had already pre paid, but then they made me give them my credit card and took a $250 deposit (which was not listed anywhere). He gave me the keys, and a check list for the cars and went out to evaluate it myself…. Found some scratches in the back and the car was not cleaned at all. We were still finding good in boxes our 3rd day in. Interrupt or had spilled drinks on the doors and was just unclean in general. This seems to be a common issue with this place as the guy ahead of me. Complained about his car being filthy and almost left. So I return the van, I get there about 20 mins early and again no one is on site even though they open at 8am and it is now 9:40. I take photos of the van in the lot and the interior to prove I cleaned it even thought they did not. So I then put the keys in a drop box and leave. I get the bill and notice I owed another $62 dollars. I called customer service to ask why and they said because the vehicle was dropped off an hour late. So I would highly recommend you stay away from this location and maybe the company in general.

This location and the Hilliard location (same owner) are the worst ran businesses. I rent cars offend for work and EVERYTIME I have an issues. Randomly they changed their policy to needing 2 forms of ID and would not rent to me. Today waited at this location for 30 minutes. It was not open once they arrived, and Guy was checking me out, oh we had policy change they now will not take debit card to pay but they do at their other location will that is 25 mins away. So rude so unprofessional I wish there was a ZERO star. Avis and budget corporate needs to do something about this ownership.

Cheap Rates but Terrible Service. I was in the office with 3 other customers, all complaining about the cleanliness and lack of attention. Website said to call 24 hrs ahead for shuttle but there was never any answer at the local branch and the mainstream customer service reps couldn't help. Uber cost $35 for a 10 minute drive from the Greyhound Station! So I begged them when I dropped the car off to get me to the station but they refused. I was TRYING to save money. Hahaha ?♀️ The car worked well enough, though it was scratched up and dented on almost every door. Sometimes it doesn't pay to go cheaper.

I gave them one star because the one manager was very knowledgeable and professional. The 3 other times I called in was absurd. In fact, it was so preposterously bad that it was borderline comical. I called 3 different times and spoke to 3 different ladies, all of which gave me 3 different answers, and not a single one could tell me what a deposit was for. The gentleman I spoke with gave me all the answers and had me off the phone in 2 minutes, he was a good dude. The other 3 ladies were rude and incompetent, two of them hung up on me because they were annoyed by my questions. I’ve never rented a car before and I had a few questions, and the ladies lacked the capacity to answer simple questions pertaining to their jobs they do every day. Mena, hope I spelled it correctly, exceptional customer service by far was the best I have ever experienced at any car rental I have been to. Was in a real tight jam and she went above and beyond to get me what I needed. If you ever need to rent a car in Columbus you need to stop here and ask for her.

Reserved the car in March called and had some questions the man at this location seemed very rude and pushy as if he didn't want to talk to anyone else explain anything. Come Today June 14 we go to pick up our car. Was supposed to be a Kia but instead they had a Malibu... No biggy!... Then I pull my ID and bank card out, which the man then proceeds to get rude and say "NO! NO! NO!..Credit card only no debit or online banking"... I booked a room in Florida for a family vacation and reserved a car to get us to our destination. At no time Ever was I told by him or anyone else for that matter that I had to have a credit card to be able to rent a vehicle. I'm not mad I needed one I'm upset that nobody made this clear before I went to pick up the vehicle I reserved 3 months prior!!! Very unprofessional and rude!

Avoid this place. I'd avoid budget rental in general but if you do use them take the extra 5 minutes and drive to Hilliard.They didn't have the car I reserved and paid for online, He then wanted to upgrade me to a giant SUV, didn't want it due to gas prices.Was kind of stuck in that I already paid, So said go ahead I'll just pay the extra for gas on our trip. Well then I find out that this particular vehicle is going to cost me $53 extra per day... ?Called customer service, They sent me to Hilliard and said they will have what I reserved there.I get there and they still do not have what I reserved!And I still end up paying more per day than online stated.Also West Broad will not accept your bank debit They require you have a separate credit card. When I tried to give the guy at West Broad my Chase credit card he said no this is still through the bank which it is not it is a separate credit card.Just save yourself that hassle and go to Enterprise or Hertz, multiple experiences with budget have shown me they are by far the worst car rental agency Maybe other than Toro Maybe other than Turo.

If i could put 0 stars I would. I got there and it was locked they don’t close till 6pm. There was no sign stating they will be back. Man come finally after 40 minutes he was rushing me when I gave him my confirmation number he informed me it was for a different location. I could have just called and switched the reservation to that location but when he saw my reservation he was like I don’t have an economic car so if you switch I will have to charge you for a different car rate. I have worked in the rental business and know that if you do not have the car that you reserved you have to provide what you have At no cost due to inventory. At that point I asked how much would it be to make a reservation he quoted me $100 more than my reservation. He was very rude to top it off.

Do not rent from here!!!I rented from this location a day before Thanksgiving and every car they tried to give me had a check engine light on. The guy working tried to convince me nothing was wrong with the cars but I refused to take the two cars. He finally found me a car without a warning light, but upon bringing car back on the due date, the place was closed early for Black Friday with a note posted on the door. I immediately contacted customer service and received an apology. The rep told me it was ok to bring it back the first thing the following morning. When I took it in the same guy who had waited in me previously- very condescending and a total “a- hole” told me I would be charged even though they closed early without letting me know. I not so politely told him I would never do business with this store again and the charges would be disputed. Thankfully I had called customer service when I initially attempted to return the car and they had a case number for the complaint. The additional charge was refunded but I will never return to this location and would advise anyone planning to do so to reconsider.

Worst experience. Make sure that you return the car not only with full gas, but also cleaned. Stop at the closest carwash to the drop off so you can avoid a charge after three months of the rental. I do not recomment this company.

Eric the manager does a really good job, as everytime I've had to get a rental he has always assisted and usually is the only one there. He can manage the phones, clean and inspect vehicles, and can complete pick-up and drop off. People should try to be a little more patient and show grace as that is a lot to deal with on your own. Again, have rented here over 10 times and have not had a bad experience!!!Thank you

So I’ve been renting for a few months from the manager. All of a sudden I get hit with a bill thats 1,700$… and I’ve been prepaying the whole time… I pay before I leave the lot.The Indian owner is no where to be found, won’t respond or call me back… feels a bit fraudulent to try that with a customer
