Had a really great first time experience yesterday after a series of frustrating and disappointing ones at my old salon when my regular person moved.Julie was knowledgeable about my concern and able to get my hair back to the highlights and dimension of pre pandemic, in fact, she ensured their was true visible dimension. She went above and beyond to use additional training/experience to understand and correct the warmth coming through my natural hair color against the brightness and coolness of my skin's undertone instead of just matching warmth with the color of my hair that unfortunately lightens warm with sun exposure.I hate going to a new style with a double whammy (color and cut) but I had been dealing with both issues the last 4 yrs and really just wanted to like my hair again.Julie did even BETTER with my cut. I have thick hair that also has very good wave and body; however, it overpowers my small face once it gets past my chin so it's either grow it well past my shoulders to rebalance its effect on my jawline and face shape or cut it back to chin length and shape to avoid mushroom head. It was a relief not to spend 10 mins explaining this. She understood my gesture to the area below my chin and shoulders and knew how to avoid mushroom head WITHOUT visible layering as layers become too volumous on me. She also asked about my normal styling tools (I have them all) and cut and styled using my tool of choice, something that is a must or one's hairstyle will only look that way while in the chair.It was a pricey visit but I've spent much much more over the last couple of years only to wonder how photos and words could not accurately convey what I needed in both highlight tone and shape of cut. It's a relief to finally be proud of my fabulous hair again. Julie did what 3 others failed to do. Im glad I didn't give up. Thank you!

Nikki is incredible! I always leave her chair feeling refreshed and beautiful! I loved how she could “read” my hair and tell me exactly how I liked it colored/styled without me telling her at my first appointment. The salon is beautiful, inviting and friendly!

I had Emma, and she was amazing. She listened to everything I said and made my hair feel the best it ever has! I love my haircut so much and she gave me tips for how to take care of my hair. The salon was very cute and welcoming, overall an amazing experience I will be back!

Love this salon, Maria is my hairstylist and she is so amazing at her job! She listens to her customers and wants to make all of your hair dreams come to life! I drive an hour each way to see her every session because she is just that talented.

Both my sister and I highly recommend Blake Rose Salon. I have entrusted my thick head of hair for two years to Maria for color and Bryan for dry cuts. They listen acutely and provide exceptional expertise. Because of their skill, I have steady stream of compliments from friends and strangers alike on my hair color and style. Everyone I encountered here was very friendly and welcoming! Peyton did a very thorough job with my eyebrow wax and listened to my concerns. Maria trimmed my bangs and was sure to talk with me throughout the process in order to get the end result I wanted. I will definitely be back to this salon as I appreciate the friendliness and thorough care they provided.
