SERVICE & CHECKIN Checkin speed could be a lot faster. Their welcoming hospitality + the friendly customer service certainly makes up for it. The fact that they accept Tap Pay & avoid using paper forms to complete checkin was also nice . Free early checkin offered alongside a generous 12pm standard checkout. Uncovered self parking is available on-site. LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS Exceptionally clean lobby with a relentless housekeeping staff! I enjoyed the cozy vibes & comfortable seats. Aside from the halls & doorways being extremely narrow... the transitions were beautiful & well-maintained. ROOM First impressions were a let down due to the odor in this room & lack of functional windows . Visually, it still appeared very clean. Dimensions were spacious, with sufficient closet space for an extended stay. The workspace was a sleeper & made for a very productive work week--A contender for best ergonomics of 2024. Dim lighting is really the only drawback; not enough coverage from overhead. TV & ENTERTAINMENT Not strong. Small SD TV with local programming & Spectrum DVR. The remote is slow & the UI is a struggle; changing channels too fast brings it down No smart capabilities either. BED A bit of effort, but decent. The mattress itself was more softer than firm & lacking on support. The pillows were a challenge: undersized for the mattress & insufficient in quantity. Loft was fine, just be prepared to stack them for even meager head support. Decent sleep overall. WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION Good cell signal throughout with 5G-uw performance (Verizon). Fast WiFi network for remote work & multitasking. It's unencrypted, so bring a travel router. --Performance-- Video streaming - average Online gaming - poor Video chatting - average --Nerd Stats-- 74-90 Mbps download 54-66 Mbps upload 0% packet loss 20 ms latency 6 ms jitter BATHROOM Beautiful design & high cleaning standards. I really like the backsplash & the space felt recently renovated. The shower experience was mostly wonderful; towels are just on the thinner side. Performant exhaust & strong water pressure was therapeutic. Bath products are also provided. Cons: The dreaded "Low toilet" is present here & Shower head is over due for a replacement. FOOD DoorDash friendly. In-room amenities: Large mini fridge, Mini microwave, Cuisinart coffee bar. Ice is available on the floor The breakfast offering was amazing; Cereal, juice bar, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy. Instant oatmeal, eggs, yogurt, fruit, pastries. VERDICT Quiet, peaceful, productive. High cleaning standards & a lot of bang for your buck. I would recommend this property & could see myself staying here again. 4.5/5

We booked a room here for the jacuzzi tub. The room was decent— it had an old cigarette smell so we went out and bought a candle.

The room not only had a refrigerator, the refrigerator had a freezer section that solidly froze our blue ice pack overnight!

This was a super pleasant stay for a mini trip. The staff were all helpful and I was surprised that our room was cleaned after one night... I'm used to room cleaning needing to be requested mid-stay nowadays. The breakfast is some of the best I've had at a hotel. The hot food was good and everything was fresh. One or two people are always working in the breakfast area so food never ran out while we were there, even when the breakfast area was full. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The location is close enough to most things in Columbus, but road work did make it a bit bothersome to get into town.My only suggestion is that it would be nice if there was an all-hours drink area, as I've seen in many hotels - with coffee, a beverage dispenser with lemon/fruit water, hot water with tea bags/hot chocolate/etc. I know some of those things are available in the room, but I've rarely had good experience with in-room coffee machines.Rooms: Rooms on the first floor don't have carpet. The TVs are small and older. The bathroom was a bit narrow. We didn't hear much hallway noise from inside the room, but we were on the opposite end of the hotel from the pool.Food & drinks: Every breakfast menu includes some sort of sausage, some sort of eggs, and biscuits and gravy. There are two waffle makers with a variety of toppings. There is the usual selection of pastries/breads/cereals, fruits, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and Silk in the fridge.Noteworthy details: The pool is at one end of the hotel and fills up fast on weekends. There is currently road work going on nearby, so you can't turn left to get towards the highway.

The manager here was a stand-up guy, I wish I had a brother like him. He made sure we were taken care of with haste and made sure we were seen about until our agency got the room reservations correct. The employees here always share a smile, and a good morning greeting and willing to help you anyway they can with a smile on their faces, thank yall so much for having us. Until I have the pleasure of staying with ya'll again.Roll Tide Roll.Rooms: Super clean rooms, the beds were A+ scale.Nearby activities: Plenty of food choices near by, in walking distance.Walkability: Two restaurants right next door to the location. Two gas stations in walking distance.

I'm staying at the hotel right now. The location is fantastic. It literally is just right off of I-70, making it almost impossible to get lost finding it and making it very easy to get to places to eat out. Stake-n-Shake is within walking distance. There's a Bob Evans close by and a host of other restaurants that are within a 10 min drive or who will deliver to the hotel. The staff are all very friendly. The breakfast is great for a hotel of this size; a little something for everyone. The heated pool is bigger than you would expect and the hot tub is a wonderful added bonus. The rooms are nice, clean and very well organized. Really the only issues I have are about size. The gym is very small. You can do cardio with no problem and a couple of dumbbell exercises but there's no room for anything else. And I know this may seem petty but I wish the TV's were just a little bigger. My computer monitor is almost the same size. I'm thinking they are about 32 or 36". Hoping they can upgrade to 42". In 2023 HDTV's are so cheap now. But neither of those minor issues for me changes the fact that for the money, this is the best hotel that I've ever stayed in.

I don’t ever remember experiencing a staff that was unfriendly or uncourteous as this one. No one ever spoke to me, greeted me or thanked me. The breakfast was horrible. The eggs, potatoes and coffee (what was left) were all cold and tasteless. The stopper in the sink in the room I had was broken. I was refused any discount for AAA, aarp, or senior citizen.

We stayed here on the last night of our trip, and this hotel met all our expectations. The room was large, and we appreciated the hard surfaced floors over carpet. Our room had everything we needed. The breakfast was well done, and the two women who were working had to be the most meticulous people ever at a hotel breakfast. They checked everything, and made sure everything was full and well stocked. These two should be commended for their work!If in the area, we would stay here again.

It's not a very big parking lot. We pull horse trailers, and they were kind enough to let us park along the side. As they were not busy on a Sunday night. Angela was great. Very helpful. The room was very nice. There is a Bob Evans next door. That is a whole different review.Rooms: The room was very nice. Bed was comfortable.Safety: Looked pretty safe. It is located in a culdasak. So, there's not much traffic. Apartments next door looked real nice, not run down.Walkability: Bob Evans restaurant next door. Stake and shake within walking distanceFood & drinks: Breakfast was above average for hotel breakfast. Real eggs as apposed to watered-down powdered eggs.

Very friendly staff, very clean and well maintained, very good breakfast. We had a King Suite - Disability Access Roll in Shower and it was an amazing room. The lights are located near the bottom so that anyone in a wheelchair can easily access it. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that is attached to the shower stall and they are very good quality. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. TV channel lineup was great compared to other hotels we’ve been at. The pool was also very nice - sadly the hot tub was not working. Everything is about 20 min away.Cons: The ice machine was all the way at the other side of the building, the toilet paper was not the greatest and we had to buy our own. The construction was a little hard to get thru when heading out of the hotel, but that is not their fault.Still a 5/5 and will definitely choose this hotel again!

Our vacation this year has been a night here and a night there, so we have been getting to experience more than normal hotel accommodations along the way.Upon arriving our initial impression was that this particular Best Western was clean & you could tell there has been care taken in the renovation department. We arrived late the night of our check-in and were grateful for their willingness to allow us to have a late check-out.The staff was very professional & accommodating. We were also grateful for the clean pool & hot tub .... The whole pool area was very well maintained. The entire property was this way. We watched as employees checked all areas.... checked smoke detectors... chemical levels in pool area and even the outside was meticulous! There were only 2 negatives...1.. Construction around this area is terrible right now, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area. But this is temporary and uncontrollable by the hotel... jfyi2. There was a little blackish mold on the grout on the outside of the bathtub.... a simple fix with a little bleach and elbow grease! But all and all very nice stay and would definitely stay there again!
