Over the years, they've repeatedly refused to price match Amazon even though they claim to do so.
I was recently scammed with false advertising so they could basically take an interest free loan. After being bounced around multiple support departments on phone and email, I just returned my purchase.
Save yourself the headache and shop at Micro Center or online instead.

The most disgraceful customer experience I have ever had, not one employee attempted to assist anyone, but some teenager looking idiot was willing to walk by and tell us to get in line consistently for her, and then not man a register while another one left to scroll around on her phone and chit chat! On top of that the one member of staff running a single customer service line / register because they don't bother to have separate lines or staff for that, they have plenty of staff to stand around and chit chat though. Even though he could see the objects in this person's return were not opened, the box merely flapped open, he denied the return and then denied my screen protector replacement because I didn't have the old broken one even though the transaction date was almost a year ago which would allow someone with a functioning brain to see that I am not trying to scam screen protectors out of them, but they don't have staff that care about the customer at Best buy, they have staff that terrorize and antagonize the customer at Best buy. This place is a dump, and if you can find the product you need somewhere else, do it!!!!!!

So last Friday my husband and I purchased a new LG OLED 77” for our family room; setting up delivery and installation for this Monday 3/10. Store experience was 5 star with a very pleasant young salesperson. We were excited about such a fast delivery date.
What we did NOT know is that BB is now having some 3rd party company deliver and install their product. We had expected the same excellent experience we’ve had previously with GEEK squad which is why we have remained loyal to BB. The new company basically installed and ran…leaving my husband with all the trash. The “installer” handed him the remote and said “you can set the rest up from here”. Very poor customer service! My husband did not even realize they left thinking the guy had just gone out to his van to get something. Since we have 6 TV’s in our house, all from BB, this had never been our experience in the past. They said nothing about hauling away the old TV. What was I supposed to do with a 75” tv sitting in the middle of my family room on the floor!
I tried calling BB customer service and got someone who was clearly not in the USA and had no authority to do anything. I ended up at the store. What I learned was the salesperson should have asked us if we wanted the old tv taken, and there is a charge. She had not done that. Polaris BB customer service agreed to have the old tv picked up at a reduced cost which I was happy with .
Overall Polaris BB is a good place to shop and their people are friendly and helpful. However - corporate BB - this message is for you…IF you are going to outsource your delivery and installations - get a company who gives a crap and are NOT paid so when they get done for the day they can go home…I own 2 companies and there are ways to set up 3rd party handling to represent your business so it retains your customer base. DO BETTER!!!!

Picked up an online order was emailed it was ready but product wasn't ready.
Had to wait a long time in online order pickup line even though Noone was in line. I think I just need to lower my expectations on this store 😞

My salesperson was very good. BUT! Best Buy has a lousy customer service return policy. They are rude, broken English. They talk over you saying sorddee we can’t help you!

I purchased an Ipad for my daughter for Christmas. The sales person was more interested in selling services and focused on his commission he gave me the wrong color. Since it was a present and it was opened they charged $50 to my daughter to exchange. This cost more than just purchasing online. If you want to avoid a high pressure sale experience and make sure you receive the product you want, do buy from Best Buy.

I had scheduled a installation for an auto start for my daughter's car it took over a month for them to get the appointment and then when I show up they say there's no appointment even with the confirmation

I came in for a screen repair/consultation and was scheduled for a 20 minute appointment. I was 5 mins late so I figured they would cut the appointment short or reschedule which would’ve been fine. However, he spent about 2 mins with me instead of the 15 mins I had left in my appointment. He didn’t even run any diagnostic tests and then told me I would have to buy a new laptop and went to help someone else…. I immediately left as I didn’t believe it had to be completely replaced, went to another repair shop in worthington to get a quote/2nd opinion. This shop said they can fix my laptop in less than a week for less than half of what it would’ve cost to replace the whole laptop as the Geek Squad rep advised me. Terrible experience.

Went to Polaris Best Buy to get a Mac for a family member. Apple employee was top notch and explained its capabilities thoroughly. When it came time to get the Mac, the Best Buy employee Buddy continued to asking questions regarding payment and when I wanted to pay in full he made rather absurd comments. He claimed that I was acting odd and uncomfortable due to my arms being crossed, as if I was going to steal it ??? Bought at microcenter without the extremely weird interaction.
