I needed my platinum engagement ring cut off of my finger years ago. Thanks to my pregnant, swollen fingers. Argo and Lehne sent platinum jewelry to an independent contractor at the time. When I received the ring back, the band was noticeably thinner. Comically thin. I was young and not too good at asserting myself at the time. I should've refused to accept it. Anyway, I took the ring and started wearing it again and it broke. Not surprising. This is a ring that's been in my family for decades. It's taken a beating over the years and never been compromised. They offered to fix it. When I got it back, I wore it again and surprise! It broke again. Whoever they contracted with stole platinum from my ring. They finally agreed to add platinum to it to reinforce it. When I say it was thin, it was so thin, I was afraid to do anything strenuous with it on. I have the ring still. I don't wear it all the time. But it's still noticeably thinner. Whoever did their platinum work was robbing them blind. I'm disappointed they didn't stand behind the work. Seeing as they were the ones that farmed it out, they should have made good on it. Disappointing.

I am extremely dissatisfied by the experience and service I had at Argo and Lehne. My fiancé's engagement ring was supposed to be upsized and appraised. However, everything that could go wrong did, and the way they handled the situation was unacceptable.Firstly, let me start off with the fact that the engagement ring was my fiancé's grandmothers, passed down to her. The stated timeline for the ring resizing was thrown out the window. I had to endure a wait that stretched well beyond what was initially communicated (from the time the ring was brought in to picked up, 6 weeks). This level of disregard for a customer's time is unacceptable.To make matters worse, not only did they fail to resize the ring as requested, but they actually DOWNsized it! I cannot fathom how a jewelry store could make such a mistake with such a significant piece of jewelry. It genuinely felt as if they had no regard to attention to detail or competency.What truly shocked me was the owner's complete absence from the situation. Even though he was undoubtedly aware of the mishap, he never bothered to come out from the back to address the issue or offer an apology. This shows a stunning lack of accountability and a disregard for customer satisfaction.While an employee did provide a refund for the resizing, they conveniently ignored the fact that I had paid for an appraisal as well. We were left with a resized ring that wasn't even the right size and an incomplete refund. They refused to give us a full refund because “I could not prove that anything was wrong with the appraisal” even though the incorrect sizing was on the appraisal. You would think that a high-end jewelry store would issue a full refund simply due to this horrible experience. This says a lot about the customer service.Argo and Lehne’s incompetence, lack of communication, and failure to take responsibility for their mistakes have left my fiancé and I extremely upset. At the end of the day, she has not been able to wear her family heirloom engagement ring for 9 weeks now. I would strongly caution anyone against ever stepping foot into this establishment. It's clear that they prioritize their own convenience over the well-being of their customers.

I’m not a big review writer, but I do love my jewelry and feel Argo & Lehne deserve a review. This store was recommended to me by a friend in the area. I’m so glad I listened. They have a lot of unique, designer estate pieces, as well as, all the other things you would expect from a high end jewelry store. However, what made me fall in love with this store is the people. There is no pressure, just helpful people that make it fun to look for that perfect piece of jewelry.

I got my wedding band here, and Haley was wonderful! She listened carefully to my wants and concerns and I now have a beautiful piece that’s personal and will last a lifetime! Definitely will come back for any jewelry needs in the future :)

Michelle and Bob were both incredibly patient and invested with getting everything just right for this custom designed ring. The ring is gorgeous and my fiancé, Hannah, is absolutely in love with it! We had a necklace made out of a watch that was my grandmothers. Rachel was so helpful with designs and staying within the budget that worked for me. Everyone at the store is so welcoming and friendly. It was Ana amazing experience overall and I will definitely be going back!!

Great first experience with Argo & Lehne! I attended an event ahead of Mother's Day, including a photo opportunity with my kids (5y and 2y). The staff could not have been more gracious! I bought a locket with custom monogramming. My order was completed in only half a week and returned to me in time to wear for Mother's Day - excellent quality, and I'm confident it will see a lot of use. The store was able to communicate both by calling and texting, texting being a big deal to me so I can easily manage communication at times when a call may be inopportune. I'll be a repeat customer!

I went to Argo & Lehne around 2020 to repair my engagement ring that we had purchased from an independent jeweler who obtained the ring from an estate sale years prior. My beautiful ring was unfortunately falling apart. Argo & Lehne reset the ring and made it look even more beautiful than before, while basically keeping the original appearance of the ring. The service and attention that I had received for the repair job can only be described as top-notch and impeccable. I went back to Argo & Lehne today to have a pair of earrings repaired, since one of them had become loose from use. Mr. Argo and Sarah worked on the earrings for a few minutes and tightened them. Sarah also cleaned my rings while I was in their store. The whole thing was completed without charging me a cent. I really appreciate Argo & Lehne Jewelers' thoughtful, professional and kind services each and every time. I highly recommend their services.

Rachel is always a joy to work with! When a precious heirloom ring had to be restored and repaired 40 years ago, Argo and Lehne was recommended to me by a trusted friend and did not dissappoint. Years later the diamonds from that same ring were used in a beautiful engagement ring for our daughter. Rachel helped design a ring exactly like our daughter had envisioned. The exceptional customer care we have experienced at Argo and Lehne is very much appreciated.

Rachel is delightful, professional and upbeat! She worked diligently on helping me custom design my wedding ring as well as opal earrings from family heirlooms. They no longer are stashed in a drawer just for special occasions! We are now working on utilizing the remaining stones in another ring!
