Needed a patio door replaced due to improper installation that happened years ago before I owned this home. Went to Coldwater lumber as they were the ones that provided and had this door installed originally. I ordered a new door, supplied door casing for stain matching with an expectation they would be able to get close. When inquired about contractors in the area I was told by Greg that they could provide a list but that it would be best if I do the work contacting one because they don't "listen to him". He also said the same of his boss at the stain shop. Regarding the stain not matching instead of working the issue as he was the one that sold me the door he made me do it because again he said "it's better if you do it instead of me, they don't listen to me". The excuses I received for why they couldn't get the stain to match do not make sense since it matched when they did it during the original installation. I understand there will be variances from old to new but these Aren't even close. It amazes me they are considered a professional company the way they act.

Awesome home town, full service lumberyard. I have used their kitchen design center.. .kudos to Nancy. All of her designs I have seen have been thoughtfully designed. Bob at the main yard has went the extra mile helping me find speciality materials and arranging prompt deliveries. Their paint and stain department also does top notch work. I have had a positive experience with every employee that I have came into contact with. Thanks Coldwater lumber!
