If I could have given them 0 stars, I would’ve. If you actually want your pet to be examined and taken care of, take them ANYWHERE else. If you want to wait a minimum of 2 hours, experience disorganization and a lack of communication, take them to West Park Animal Hospital! Zero sense of urgency from the staff

The sweetest staff they really care about you and your fur babies!
I came here after having the most awful experience ever at MedVet the day before. I can’t express how much the kindness from the staff at such a scary moment meant to me. I came in absolutely sobbing because my sweet cat was having trouble breathing. They got us back immediately and put her on oxygen. The doctor wasn’t in a rush; she was happy to take her time with us, answering all of our questions and laying out all the options. They even let me see my sweet girl before having to leave her there overnight.
Again, thank you to the staff who were working on October 16 around 7 PM. You all are so awesome, and I truly appreciate your kindness during such a frightening moment.

We had to put down my beloved baby boy, Riley, on Monday as the fight for cancer eventually couldn’t be fought anymore. I called them and they were able to see him immediately for euthanasia. I want to thank the amazing staff for being so compassionate and caring towards the whole situation. The house feels empty but I know he was in good hands and will be returned to us soon.

Over $400 for a euthanasia and then they send the body to Eternal Memories where the cheapest option is $340. Absolutely sick to rip people off like this at such an awful time.

West Park animal hospital is the worst hospital I have ever been to! My kitten was sick everyone that I talked to said it sounded like a respiratory problem. As taking her to the vet that was only open on Saturday she seemed to be getting somewhat better! Finally getting up from 2 days of laying meowing eating tuna water but still sick and very weak dehydrated. We were told her breathing all of a sudden got bad to worse in the matter of an hour they took her back didn't let us see her told us we could see her than said she was stopping breathing still not able to see her. Finally came in said she was stopping breathing as we were figuring out what to do with the vet knew we only had 275 to pay kept pushing x-rays for 300 plus 150 for visit plus treatment. I felt like because we didn't have 500 plus to spend on a kitten we were trying to save they didn't care and said she was dieing. As we are all crying she tells us we can get a paw print at least for $40.00 because the ashes were 200. Place calls today 100 plus for paw print or choice of hair clipping not guaranteed it's your pet because they are cremated with other pets as well as the pet hair or $329.00 for her ashes guaranteed my pet! I'm so disgusted with West Park animal hospital I will never go there ever again nobody truly cares about these animals or the owners who are grieving it's all money! We had lady's help us pay as a loan the vet bill that's the reason we went to West Park they were the only ones who would help and cared!!! We are getting pet insurance so we don't have to go through this again! Makes me sick and so sad!!! R.I.P My Lilo till we see you again at least we have our pictures and memories of her even if it was only for a short while??❤️

Dr. Kristine and the entire staff was so amazing I have a slightly aggressive dog and they treated him with such love and compassion he was able to get his 1st real bath, fit his nails done.. the works I couldn't have been happier.. or was 100% worth the cost.

Unfortunately, I feel like communication with WPAH has gone down in quality over the past few years. I understand why it's a struggle to get an appointment less than 2 months out, but it's also a struggle just to get into contact with the office.
Phone calls are often unanswered during standard office hours, and requests for appointments through the app seem to be entirely ignored from time to time. I'm unsure if this is due to lack of appointment availability, as some others have mentioned, because there is no response whatsoever.
It's quite disappointing as I have had a good experience with this organization and all the employees in the past, but communication seems to be consistently getting worse over time.
The new facility is very nice. The employees are also incredible every time I visit. It's just really, really hard to engage with their services.

I’ve taken my pets here maybe 4/5 times and each and every time I’ve waited 5-7+hrs for a vet to JUST see my pets & leave for another hour or so.
Brought both my babies in today for trouble breathing and it was not an emergency to them considering they want u to pay an ER fee. I got there at 5pm and ended up walking out & leaving with my animals at 9:30pm, the only thing that was done was their temperature when I arrived.. now my babies have to suffer with no treatment because I couldn’t sit their any longer because I work 60+ hrs a week. So sad they can’t just take 5 minutes out of their time to treat their patients and send them off.

I was very lucky to have found WPAH, my dog was attacked by another dog and was brought in as an emergency patient. He was in ICU care for 3-4 days and hospitalized for 3 weeks. Thanks to Dr. Pak and his staff, by dog is on his way to recovery.
I visited nearly every day and most of the staff knew me and my dog by name. We felt welcome and I knew my dog was in the best of hands during his recovery. Grateful to have found WPAH.

We had to put our sweet 3lb cat to sleep. She was 20+ years old and loved. It was $443. They said there were all kinds of options for cremation services and we had a few days to decide. The website gave only one choice, $320, to return the ashes and they NEVER returned my calls. Neither the hospital, nor the cremation service. We were not given the option to take her home and we could not afford to bring her home. I’m sick about it and the lack of customer service is awful. We have a few more elderly pets and they will be going elsewhere.

We have had the best experience with West Park Animal Hospital. Over the years, they have helped us take good care of our fur babies. They are open everyday until 1am and always available for questions. Most recently, they helped us through the illness and loss of our sweetest Doggo baby, Lucy. We found a mass on her spleen back in June which turned out to be high grade cancer...and Dr. Boris Pakush and his team helped us through each step of the process, first with her Splenectomy, and care for her nausea and lack of appetite since. Then as she continued to decline, we had so much love and support with her care and medications. Then finally yesterday when she told us it was time to cross the rainbow bridge, the team helped us with the decision process, allowed us to lay on the floor with her, gave us plenty of time and privacy to say goodbye, and helped her go peacefully to the other side. Joanna the Receptionist has been there for us through Lucy's entire journey, and has been so incredibly kind with all of our questions and connecting us to Dr. Boris. We are so grateful that we have had the compassionate staff to help us care for our fur babies. Thank you all so very much. ❤️❤️❤️

Recently took my cat in to "er" 5 hours later I got to pick her up. She wasn't a "priority" I asked for an antibiotic shot. Which I paid for, but who knows if she actually got it. Her condition has worsened. I was given ear drop cleaner and tresederm for the ear. My cat is falling over. Head tilt which has worsened since starting the ear drops. No improvement whatsoever but has gotten worse. On top of this my cats Carrier was full of urine and feces which got on my car seat. So now my car stinks. No one noticed this,To tell me?? Horrible. Horrible.

Took my cat to this place, the only reason we brought him here was cause his regular vet was closed on a Sunday evening.
I will not be recommending this place to anyone.
This place misdiagnosed my cat with a “stress UTI flare” which progressively got extremely worse as the week went on. When we brought him back up, they declared him to be in critical condition with kidney issues.
As horrific as that was, I seemed to become more dissatisfied with this animal clinic. Every single time we got my cat back he had a new scratch or mark on him. He had blood all over his mouth and no one noticed to clean him up. He has rashes on the back side of his legs, and was soaked in pee every time we came up to see him. I understand my cat was sick and peeing himself, but they didn’t even try to dry/ clean him off.
They sent us home with an extremely LARGE vet bill, and don’t offer a payment plan through their establishment. They just think people can pay thousands of dollars before they continue services. You had to pry before anyone ever mentioned their care credit plan. NO ONE here is on the same page, EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED. They are not confident about what meds they’re giving, or how to give them, no one looks you in the eye with confidence, and no one EVER documented that my cat was peeing blood under his chart. That was the whole alarming reason why he was there. Going through this clinic was a stress nightmare. They really did not make anything easier for us during this stressful time. If you would like your pet to be taken care of by professionals, DO NOT GO HERE. Every doctor here is in training, don’t let your pet be the guinea pig.
