I had to come back to my review and edit a few things. I definitely like coming to this branch, however there is one BAD apple that they need to get rid if. This one person is always rude always nasty never smiles. I avoid this one person with every breath in my body. She is absolutely horrible. No customer service skills at all. She lied to me about my address change. Her not knowing that I know the post office system very well. Once again. ITS ALWAYS ONE BAD APPLE IN THE BUNCH AND SHE IS DEFINITELY THAT BAD APPLE. Definitely a great location. Staff is very pleasant and professional. This location is definitely the best location when comparing Eastside locations.
Thank you to the staff at the East 55th Branch. I appreciate all that you do.

Everyone that work here is rude or have some sort of attitude. The actual post man always have an attitude if I don’t come to the door fast enough. They just told me if my package can’t fit in the mailbox it will be returned and I live in an apartment building so the mailbox is extra small. I have missed several packages because of their poor services. They need to let them all go and get new workers in there smh poor services for the black communities

The clerk was so disgustingly lazy. My husband & I were off work today & decided to go apply for passports today, but to our surprise we were greeted by an unprofessional clerk. We researched online before we went to be sure walk-ins were accepted. We arrive at The Untied States Postal Service at 1650 E.55th street Cleveland Ohio. The clerk told us she couldn’t help us due to her being the only one there. & have to be available “in case” a line forms. Ok I understand short staff issues. I’m a medical manager in my current position. But we were literally the only people in line. It’s such a shame they put these ghetto lazy people in high positions only for them to give customers poor service. I should’ve known based off the location, but I’m always down to give the benefit rather doubt. Let’s not get started on the manager. He came out the back and was absolutely no help. Also told me that the clerk was the only one who could perform passport services, which seemed to be a lie.I will not ever come to this place again. Please choose your Postal Service location wisely.

I called the Cleveland post office branch on East 55th to report that my mail is being delivered to the wrong address and that I’m also receiving mail from someone else’s address. The clerk that answered the phone was very rude.

Scheduled an appointment to have my passport processed and when I arrived there I was told that the Passport person was on vacation! Worst service ever, incredibly unprofessional. Wasted my time and my money.

Place needs to be shut down or there needs to be a change in management. My packages for the past few months have either not been attempted to be delivered at all for false reasons (had to go pick up at the station and leave work early many times), gone missing, or says it was delivered, but was never actually delivered. I have a security camera system that tracks all motion and I always know exactly when the mail delivery person comes around. Manager is incredible rude and does not even attempt to help or address this ongoing issue. Just says it's not their problem and to contact the sender instead.

The "supervisor" at this branch was beyond unprofessional and was incredibly aggressive from the moment she picked up the phone. I began the call with a "good morning" and informed her I was calling to inquire about a package that has been on hold for the past week. I was informed the day prior by a male representative that the package would be delivered yesterday, but it never arrived and I am leaving the state tomorrow. She asked me for my tracking number after giving a huge sigh while I was talking and put me on hold for half an hour. When she came back on the line, for some reason, she seemed even angrier and told me that they'll need to investigate where it is and that she can't tell me any additional detail because she doesn't want to provide false information -- all this was said in a impressively patronizing manner with each word forcefully said with pauses in between as if I were having difficulty understanding her. This was more baffling than anything because it was so completely out of left field and unwarranted. Taken aback, I apologized if I said anything that made her upset, to which she replied "I am not upset at all, but thank you for your concern!" in a fake, chirpy tone. She honestly kind of ruined my morning for absolutely no reason, and I hope whatever she's dealing with in her life is resolved so other customers aren't having their days ruined as well.
Aside from the rude supervisor, I've also had multiple fake delivery attempts where I could see the USPS truck pass by my house without even stopping. Each time, there is a different excuse as to why my package couldn't be delivered (eg, mailbox was too full (it was never near full), porch was not accessible (it is wide open with no obstructions), animal interference (checked my ring system and there was not a single living creature in the vicinity), does not fit in mailbox (I have a porch they usually deliver to), etc.). I've had to ask to leave work at the hospital early over 7 times now to go pick up my packages in person at the station because they ignored all of my redelivery requests. Please do your jobs.
