I came outside the morning after my stay to see my car and about three others that were parked right in front windows busted out. I went inside to tell the lady at the front desk and she offered no help. Just a my manager will be here tomorrow I will have him call you. We called the police to make a report and they never showed up. Another couples whose window were burst out said they have been waiting for the police for 4 hours. I ended up just leaving and driving back to pittsburgh with a broken window. The manager never called so I reached out to them. No andwer so I left a message. Didn’t get a call back until 2-3 days later. Called the police station multiple times and they kept hanging up. By the hotel and the police actions I feel like this is something that happens all the time and they are just use to it.I called corporate and they told me there is nothing they could do about my window or the items that were stolen out of my car. I’m a diamond member, I have a time share through Hilton. Forget the clothes, money and wallet that was stolen, the window that was broken, the deductible I had to pay, that can all be replaced. I couldn’t even get a sorry, reimbursed for my stay. I wish I could just end my timeshare I have. I never want to put a dollar in their pocket againSafety: This hotel is located in the hood. I typed downtown Cleveland and chose this hotel because the rooms were more modern. No security there. All the cars parked right in front of the entrance were broken into. Staff didn’t care one bit. If you want to be safe. Don’t stay there

You get what you pay for, honestly. This is one of the cheapest options in close proximity to the Cleveland clinic main campus. The staff members were nice (especially the woman at the front desk who helped us check in!). Free parking was a huge plus! However, the rest of the stay was pretty underwhelming. The breakfast options were minimal. The room itself was kind of clean but the walls were NOT.

The Tru By Hilton Cleveland Midtown offers a comfortable, quality stay, with many positive aspects that make the experience pleasant and relaxing.Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is satisfying, with good coffee and a classic continental breakfast that includes eggs and bacon, plumcakes, cereals, yogurt and fruit.Staff: The staff is friendly and helpful, offering an average service compared to other hotels.Services: We did not use the services offered by the hotel, so we cannot comment on them.Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for guests.Comfort: The hotel is very comfortable, being new and extremely functional. The rooms are sufficiently spacious, with two good-sized queen beds and comfortable mattresses. The sheets are clean and fragrant, even if the ventilation system can be a little noisy.Bathroom: The bathrooms are spacious and equipped with a large shower. The only downside is the dispensers, which can be too hard for children to press.Value for money: The value for money is excellent, making this hotel a convenient choice for those looking for quality accommodation.Location: The hotel is located in Midtown, a quiet area that guarantees a peaceful sleep. However, it is a bit isolated, so you will need to travel by public transport to get to the city center (downtown) if you don't want to walk.Free WiFi: The WiFi connection is excellent, functional and fast, allowing guests to stay connected without problems. In summary, the Tru By Hilton Cleveland Midtown is an excellent choice for those looking for a comfortable and convenient stay, with a good breakfast, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and a location that guarantees tranquility.

I recently stayed at the Tru by Hilton in Cleveland Midtown over the weekend for a business trip, covering a photography assignment for a local college graduation. My experience was a mix of highs and lows, but overall, it was positive.Check-in Experience:I arrived around 8-9 PM and encountered a bit of a delay, taking about 30 minutes to check in. Upon reaching my room, I discovered it was only partially cleaned and missing a hair dryer. However, this issue was promptly resolved, and the hair dryer was quickly replaced.A highlight of my check-in experience was Pauline, the staff member who assisted me. Despite some issues with my company’s card, she handled everything efficiently and with a positive, fun attitude. Pauline made me feel welcome from the moment I entered the hotel, and her excellent customer service was a significant plus. I would return just to ensure she’s still providing her fantastic service.Amenities:The alarm clock was user-friendly and reliable, a great backup if your phone fails. The coffee was a pleasant surprise, significantly better than what most hotels offer. I would suggest adding more creamer flavors or rotating options to enhance the experience further.Unfortunately, I missed the breakfast as I had an early shoot. The breakfast hours listed on the website indicated a 6 AM start, but it actually runs from 7-9 AM. While I didn't get to try it, the breakfast setup looked appealing.Service and Improvements:The service overall was commendable, though I did encounter a less pleasant interaction with the late-night staff when I needed help with the WiFi. The staff member was somewhat rude and unhelpful, which was disappointing. Additionally, the initial state of my room was a downside. Conclusion:In conclusion, while there were some drawbacks, particularly with the room cleanliness and late-night staff interaction, the positive aspects of my stay outweighed them. The excellent service from Pauline and the well-thought-out amenities made for a pleasant stay. With a few improvements, Tru by Hilton in Cleveland Midtown has the potential to provide a truly exceptional experience.Nearby activities: Cleveland boasts a vibrant array of local restaurants offering diverse and delicious cuisines. Venturing out to these local spots will not only provide a better dining experience but also support the community.

My son and I stayed overnight due to a concert we were attending. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and we had no issues with noise. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Overall a great experience.

This was my 1st time even hearing about a Tru Hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. A huge part was due to Pauline the front desk clerk. She always greeted me with a big beautiful smile. Pauline was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. She made me feel very welcome and wanting to come back. The room was small, but it was all I needed, and it was clean.

I called to let the hotel know that the Surgery scheduled for the next day at Cleveland Clinic had been canceled because CC did not have enough anesthesiologists. The girl who answered was very helpful and indicated that a manager would need to approve a partial refund. I explained that I would use the location again once things got sorted out. This is not about the fact I had to pay for a room but still have not gotten any points but for the fact that is did not even warrent a call back to explain. Long story short I never got a call back and the surgery was rescheduled. My family and I moved on to Embassy Suites by Hilton Cleveland Rockside. They have a special rate for CC patients. 121.00 Free parking, free made to order breakfast and a manager open house is the evening. only 15min drive. - Over all stay was 13 days and was great! Sometimes not doing anything is doing something.

The location is good, and it’s safe. The parking lot is well lit and there’s no noise in the area to cause disturbances. The whole place was safe and clean. Breakfast was disappointing - the options are not like what they advertise, but the grab and go snacks and drinks are convenient. They advertise a lot of stuff in the area, which is nice, but there’s not a lot of food options nearby. The AC in the room is incredibly loud and I think all things considered, it was on the pricy side. Front desk was nice and I would have no problem staying there again, but I’d look elsewhere for a better deal or to get more for my money first.

Nice, clean, modern hotel. The room was not huge but perfectly sufficient for a night's stay.Update: I have now stayed twice, a couple of years apart and this may now be my go-to hotel when I need somewhere to spend a night in Cleveland. I have stayed in others that have more amenities for more money but if I just need somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep, I like this one.Rooms: I actually cannot remember from my past visit but on my latest one, the room was very nice. There is nothing hugely special about it but it was clean, bright, a reasonable size and other than one minor maintenance issue, in good condition.Safety: I do not have a feel for the surrounding area or anything so would not necessarily wander around but the hotel itself feels very safe and I had no concerns about leaving my car in the parking lot overnight.

Clean, comfortable, great value but the location is lacking a bit. No restaurants close by. It is located in more of an industrial area. But good value for the money. Easy to park and drive where you need to go.

I got 8 pillows for two beds in my room. All of them smelled so bad! End up not using any…

Location is a little sketchy on the outskirts of Cleveland Downtown. Entire wall TV was on had no power and person at the main desk couldn't help other than moving us to another room. Rooms were clean. Breakfast options limited and not of good quality.

A very quiet hotel near Cleveland Clinic. Free parking and small hot breakfast included.Rooms: Rooms are very small with a Euro vibe. Air conditioner was a bit loud but the hotel was very quiet overall. There us a small snack bar with sodas, wine and beer if you want a late snack.Nearby activities: Close to Asian town for good eats
