not a good place to take someone that your actually trying to get help. my father checked himself in an they eventually let him go after a month do to not enough dorms. he ended up coming home and overdosing , causing him to go back . they ended up being short on dorms again so he had to leave. makes sense rt?

Only giving this facility a two because staff was great and friendly. If you àre looking for a comfortable and slightly entertaining detox, do not go here. There are no TV's in your room. The only TV you have to watch is one is one in the main small room where you share with every other detox patient. Very uncomfortable chairs to sit in as well, like you are in the doctor's office waiting room. You get woke up about every hour from either vitals, staff checking on you, or the bathroom you share with your neighboring room. There was literally nothing to do other than stare at the wall in your bedroom. Please provide your detox patients rooms with tvs. I know it will not bring them out of their room much, but detox is not about that, it is about being comfortable and just getting through it however you can!

I just left Stella Maris with a fire in my soul & a burning in my heart to understand this thing that has a hold of me! It was explained to me that addiction never goes away. I only have a daily reprieve from it. Just for today I fight. Stella Maris showed me people that have that same fire to live. They guided me gently to want my life back. For that I thank you!! The staff, Doctors, Nurses, & Counselors were amazing, kind, gentle, compassionate, & grounded in a foundation that was contagious to me! Please continue to do what you are doing. Addicts need Stella Maris.

Ok, let's just start at the ☕ shop! Outstanding and friendly service! Meetings are also held there on the regular. Their auditorium is spacious and clean, also quiet! The facility offers a range of services from detox to inpatient assistant. I personally think this is the best! Please check it out. I highly recommended it your seriously wanting to better the quality of your life!

One of the best places to detox. I've heard nothing but good things about this place. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get off drugs, alcohol etc. May God bless the staff who work here who care and their Dr's. ???

Treated really well. Detoxing was not as hard as I thought it would be. As food goes should have more vegetarian options not vegan but vegetarian.But all and all great ..

Going to Stella Maris was the best thing I ever did. They were very accommodating in the fact that they accepted my service dog.The staff was awesome! I still keep in contact with some of the guy I went through with. I was well worth the trip from Texas to a place that helped me get my life back together after year of drinking and drugs. I went when I was50 years old, so it's never to late!Sober sine 06/04/21. Some may not remember me but they will remember Stinky.

Stella Maris is a fantastic place to get treatment if you are truly serious about making a change in your life. The staff is friendly and respectful. The facility is clean and nice. Everything you need when going through a tough time in your life. You just have to want it for yourself and Stella Maris will provide the support you need to make the change.

Best detox I've ever been to. New facility, great staff, comfortable beds, PS5 or Xbox one (don't remember which one)Was the most comfortable I've ever been during a detox.They also offer naltrexone (Narcan: upon discharge. But Im sure they provide it to the community. As they work with st. Vincent)Vivitrol shot.I believe they also do the sublacade shot.They can detox off alcohol benzos opioids stimulants barbiturates.You go out to smoke every few hours after they do head count. Your allowed to bring as many cigarettes as long as the packs are unopened.They also have a thirty day program next door called "the dorms" but it's usually full.

So I tried getting treatment here and was threatened by another client amidst suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms, ended up AMA-ing shortly after due to them threatening to jump me. It's all good tho coz I'm over a year clean in Southern California working in a treatment center while furthering my education in the field!
