I waited months to finally get to my scheduled appointment (for a root canal), only to be told the dentist would actually be out that day! Then trying to reschedule has been a total joke. They left me a vm saying they just put me on the schedule for a random day and if that didn't work to call back. We'll I did call back, multiple times. Each time leaving a polite and detailed message. I have yet to hear back!

I went up to one of the 2 open receptionist desks and she was on the phone, so my 16 yr old son and I waited patiently to get checked in waiting on the social distancing circle. The other male receptionist already had been helping another patient. The lady says to me in a rude tone " there's more than one window open you know, you can go over there if no ones there" duh, I can see that. Just because you can see through your wall...no reason to speak to people rudely. I was not in her space ,I was simply waiting my turn...what was the reason for being so rude. I now read these reviews a little too late.I'm praying my son is OK through this surgery and we won't be back...I hope he's having a better experience in the back. I feel bad now I even brought him here.

I’m not sure where they find their customer service representatives but they are the most unprofessional and rude individuals. I have spoken to several, over the past few days and they have no manners or politeness at all! Good luck getting scheduled anytime soon!

Get ACTUAL dentists who practiced dentistry for some years and not fresh ones! I came up there to get an extraction because the molar was very bad, the dentist student said she could fix it and made attempt… well this is what it looks now!

I went from a private dentist to Case Dental School in 2014. All in preparation for braces. Students removed 2 wisdom teeth. That process was just ok. Only local anesthesia, and a different student kept asking why a third tooth wasn’t being extracted. Seemed like she really thought I needed it out, with no reference to my x rays. After that extraction, I tried to keep up with my regular appointments. One day my student dentist said I needed FIVE fillings. The teacher approved it, too. That came as a shock, since I JUST came from a private practice— they would’ve told me since they replaced my three metal fillings. The student doctor broke her loupes, and after playing phone tag for weeks I ghosted her and Case.
Now the interesting update— I received dental insurance again in 2022, 8 years later. I wanted to resume my plan to get braces, so I went to Hudec for a cleaning and X rays. They were signing me out, telling me I was good to go and I asked “I don’t have any cavities?” My teeth never hurt. They said “NO, your teeth are in excellent health!”
My guardian angel broke that student’s loupes ten years ago, because I was NEVER meant to have FIVE healthy teeth drilled into. Absolutely made me sick to my stomach thinking about the risk Case was willing to put me through. Who knows if the procedure would’ve been botched, opening up my enamel to tar for the rest of my life. This school should only be for the indigent and homeless, they DO NOT care about long term health of your teeth. RUN, DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM CASE SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY.

I do have to give it to case western reserve an A plus as far as helping fix the mistakes of other dental clinics that have no business being in business! I went to bright now dental in mentor, and they had to write me a referral to a root canal specialist. Well they wrote the referral for THE WRONG tooth, and inevitably my tooth was destroyed! I go in there and they blame me for their mistake. Thankfully case western has done their best to correct the mistakes made by bright now dental.

My time in the AEGD department has been one of the worst oral healthcare experiences in my life!!! I’ve been trying to get implants since 2021 and every time I get close to the final step I get set back by weeks and months because suddenly there’s a better plan. I’ve cycled through 4 residents because of the constant delays and because of how impossible it is to get scheduled. I never get call backs from my dentists when they say they will. Weeks and weeks go by as I keep calling and I never get a call back. There’s no communication, no organization, only neglect towards my case for years. It’s shameful how I’ve been treated here especially when the main doctor spends under a minute with me when he sees me. He takes a quick glance, pull the resident aside to tell them what to do with me and never shares his thoughts and opinions about MY case with me.I am infuriated at how long I’ve been a patient here and how little progress I’ve made here so far. DO NOT get treated here if you have a complex case.

I went to a dentist the first week of January to get my TMJ checked after being diagnosed with it by an ENT doctor. The dentist ended up not specializing in it and sent me a referral to this place. It has almost been 2 months and I haven’t heard from them. I ended up calling and leaving a voicemail with no answer back for the past 5 days. Yesterday I decided to call again and finally got an answer, but when I tried to make an appointment, they said I needed a referral, which I told them I already had, and no one came in contact with me. The receptionist said okay and asked for my date of birth and name. After giving them my information, he said to give me a second and sent me straight to voicemail. Horrible people.
