An old plastic plate for $2. Clothes that are torn and worn with stains on them. I went there today to give it a second look. Generally, disappointing.

They have a large selection of furniture and clothing. We found a few decent modern furniture pieces and lamps.

This is my new favorite thrift store. Clean, well-organized, good prices, great selection, friendly staff. I was a little bit nervous about going, given the neighborhood, but not a problem. I went on a Saturday morning and it was surprisingly not crowded. There also appeared to be security guard outside the front door, keeping out potential 'people with issues'. I found a great selection of clothes, accessories and household items and walked away with a bag full of name brand clothes for work and play for less than $50. The only downside was that while the clothes were organized by type (skirts, pants, sweaters, etc) and color, they were not arranged by size, so it took longer to go through the racks to find something that I liked that was also in my size. Now playing just need to find out if they have a store-wide half price day like my old favorite, now closed Unique on Northfield.

Save your time if planning to donate goods. I called them...they give an all day window for pick-up..great! Next, driver shows up and takes out a branch on my tree..wonderful. Now they start to examine and cherry pick what they want. None of this was worthless junk mind you. So I told the driver to take a hike and sold the stuff on craigslist! Don't waste your time with this chapter in Cleveland. I'm sure salvation army in general is a good organization but this chapter is not worth the bother. Call Goodwill...they're helpful and grateful for donations.

This is probably the most organized Salvation Army I have ever been too. They actually keep things arranged by size and color better than just a bunch of random clothes the same color stuck together like at most locations. They have a ton of things besides clothes furniture, books, knick knacks. This place is also huge. It may not look it from the outside, but its gigantic. It kinda smells musty in this place though the only draw back I have found.

I really like this store for the fantastic gems that I find and the selection is always plentiful. It's really an all around good thrift store, but I've had some interactions that really bump it from a potential 4 to a 3. Keep in mind, I try my best not to be skeeved out when someone cat calls--if you show no reaction, then the point of the cat call in the first place is entirely ruined and they let it go. It just happens SO MUCH in this parking lot! I always bring a friend with me for less approachability, since we'll be deep in conversation. On that note, the parking lot is nutso and a little scary itself. I'm only really comfortable once inside the store...until I was trying on some garb and a man peeked over the top of the dressing room door. NOT OK. Granted, it was just to throw a button down over my tshirt and try a couple of jackets on, but I needed the mirror! I don't really try on much anymore and if I do, I have someone guard the door to avoid any mishaps. The new arrangement is definitely...new. I'm still getting used to it and I'm not sure if I like it. I found it a bit difficult to navigate the place. It's an improvement upon the cleanliness and organization (to an extent), though. Furniture seems to be priced pretty high for being used, so when we were in the market for some, we didn't choose to purchase here. Overall, I know I'll be back, but I also know what I'm getting myself into after MANY visits and much experience.
